My recent stay was remarkably pleasant, despite an initial hiccup upon arrival. I was frustrated to find no available parking slots, which led to a moment where I considered cancelling my reservation. They quickly resolved the issue by arranging a parking spot for me, even though it was my oversight for not reserving one in advance – a detail that was clearly communicated on the booking page. The kindness and proactive assistance from the hotel staff turned a potentially negative experience into a positive one, showing their commitment to guest satisfaction. This helpful attitude was evident throughout my stay. As for the accommodations, the room met all my expectations. It was impeccably clean, and the minibar was well-stocked. Overall, Hotel Mediterran proved to be a perfect choice, blending excellent customer service with high-quality amenities. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and comfortable experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mediterran! The hotel is excellently located with easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The only minor downside was the air conditioning, which sometimes struggled to cool the room adequately during the heatwave. However, this was a small issue compared to the overall quality of the hotel and the comfort of the stay. I definitely recommend Hotel Mediterran for both short and long stays!

Hotel Mediterran helped us out big time on the 24th Dec! We had troubles with our booked apartment somewhere else which was that disgusting we were unable to stay. So, at 2:30am on 24th Dec we called up Hotel Mediterran about room availability. Receptionist was extremely helpful (Sandor?) even though the super early morning call. Long story short we booked our stay at Hotel Mediterran due to the honest and friendly staff, the affordability and the quality of the room, facilities and the whole place. We can highly recommend this hotel to everyone who travels to Budapest. Good location, very low noise (barely heard the huge main road close by), close to public transports, central location with car, non-stop reception, walking distance to decent shopping centre, etc...

If you are cheap like me and not willing to pay extra for the hotel`s garage, parking can be a bit tricky....but that`s my fault.

Everything was amazing,from a helping personel to the comfort in the room it self. Everything we asked for we got,space in the garage for our car and an extra bed for our son. We had hot wather in the bathroom,all that we needed for a bath,a lots of towels,Coffee,tea,sugar,mini bar was full.

Heating was not working on the hot side of the air condition,but it was not that cold and I am sure that if we sad sometnig to the reception they would oblige but we had two day stay and did not wona bother.

Location ideal for Waberer Medical Centre, about 300m away. Was able to leave the car in the hotel's underground car park and walk to the hospital. My wife was having knee surgery there. A really nice shopping mall is another 50m past the hospital , Mom. Out of hours shopping at a Spar attached to a petrol station 150m away.

The shower in room 36 was tricky to get optimum. I opted instead to have a nice bath. My wife would have had trouble getting into the shower with her bad knee, over the bath. Really needs a walk-in shower for people like my wife. A mixer tap would be a help.

Great value for money. Extremely friendly staff, especially the receptionists who all speak perfect English and are very helpful with different kinds of requests. The location is very good, very close to bus and tram stops, and public transport is a good way to move across Budapest. The room is nice and clean. Breakfast very good, all kinds of foods, eggs, Frankfurter, vegetables, musli, croissants...

Since the hotel is located at one of the main roads, it is a bit noisy, but the windows are soundproof. There is only one plug in the room and one in the bathroom so I would suggest to bring power distributor.

Overall good back for the buck. Good location near the center (max 25min) Parking in front of the hotel at an decent price (5Euro)

We found some hair in the bathroom. The furniture may be Leone for some renovation.

The location is good, only three bus stops to the Danube river. The breakfast was also good, nothing fancy, but there is something for everyone's taste. Free parking in the underground garage. Personnel was very polite and helpful.

The room on the 4th floor was too warm and it felt like there was no fresh air (and the AC unit was working. We even left the window open during the day and evening while we were out but it was still hot and stuffy). Everything else was ok.

The place is quite close to Novotel. I had a conference meeting there and needed some place close, so Mediterran was a suitable spot. It is not that close to the city center of Peste, though. I had to take a bus from Peste to get to the hotel.
