i like that its near the grosvenor casino just a few steps and i am there its very convenient i don t have to order taxi to take me to my hotel so it saves me time and money as taxi cost £15 to the hotel and £15 back to casino that is £30 per day , so i might as well pay a little more for piece of mind

Two things i would like you to do . first the air condition was cold i tried to switch it off but it did not work until i went downstairs and asked how to do it so he told me there is a button on top of the box that you switch off . There should be a notice on top of the box to say that otherwise short people like me cant see it and keep fiddling with it its frustrating . the second thing when i go to my room it takes ages to come on for the light comes on in the corridor its very frightening as i was walking in the dark if you can make it light up quicker i would be happy

The staff were amazing and special mention to Sam. What an absolute legend and truly beautiful person. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. As was the ‘cutlery trolly man’ I didn’t get his name, but he carried my bags when he could see I was struggling. I was quite poorly on arrival and Sam stayed with me until she was sure I was ok. All of the staff were just amazing.

I struggled a little with the windows having extremely limited opening as they were overlooking the football pitch. Also the fitted bed head was quite dusty. It would take literally less than 2 minutes to run the duster between the grooves.

The location of the property as it’s on site and we had to walk through the building as the arena is attached to the hotel. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent plenty of choice for every taste.

There were two things that needed attention in our room (119) mould in the shower and in the bedroom area it could do with a quick touch of paint because in places their were scraps on the walls and the wall nearest the bed there were splashes on the wall that needed cleaning. Prices of drinks in the Anecdote bar were expensive £7.10 for a Camden pale ale. The burger was nice but the chips were poor. The menu didn’t reflect the menu that was shown in your room. So an alternative place to eat would have been nice.

When we checked in we decided not to have breakfast but asked if we had the option of paying on the day. We were told this was ok, no times were given but in the correspondence prior to our visit times were on there. On Saturday morning we decided to have breakfast. We arrived 20 seconds after 10.30 and told it was closed due to it being a match day. We weren’t told this when discussing breakfast the previous day and it didn’t say anything in hotel messages. Very disappointing given we got there at 10.30. This needs to be made clearer.

Reception staff were wonderful and breakfast greeter was so helpful and friendly so we will be back.

Some issues however with our phone that didn’t work and we had no tv for 3 hours . Also we went to get food in the Anecdote and the staff member told us there was no food until 4.10pm …. We were there at 3.30pm . We then couldn’t order cocktails , then when we waited till 4.10pm to order food we weren’t allowed to order off light bites as it was after 4pm but we had turned up at 3.30pm . It seemed very unhelpful and unnecessary and we couldn’t get much out of the barman who was working . No discussion about anything .

Stayed for the football. Car park adjacent to the hotel, pay at reception. Queen room, wow, the size of it was great, clean, nicely decorated, massive tv, comfy bed, iron and ironing board, good hairdryer, safety deposit box, tea and coffee. Bathroom was huge, shower was awesome. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body lotion all available to use. Bath towels were big. Hardly any noise heard from other people. Will definately stay again. Taxis outside ready to take you to city centre.

The room was large, only 2 comfy seats though. Large burn marks on carpet. Beds very hard and small. Wet room was well equipped with everything you needed, although floor needed a good sweep. Breakfast was fantastic! Great quality food. The lady member of staff was just amazing going way above expected.

The hotel is going through refurbishment so I suppose this could explain some of the tired areas. Example are empty picture frames on the walls. Damaged signage. Having to pay parking even when there is no event on.

Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and nicely displayed. The bedroom was lovely too with lots of amenities and super comfy bed and pillow and very clean. I particularly liked the cookie given to me upon arrival. Somehow, I booked an accessible room even though I do not require an accessible room and due to the hotel being fully booked so I could not change the room, the reception gave me a room with pitch view. That was so nice and I fully appreciated that.

Hotel staff were very friendly. We came to watch the QPR football match, so the location was ideal. And the football result 1-2 was perfect. Generous car parking facilities. The rooms (155 and 156) were great. Lovely breakfast with helpful staff.

The TV RCU had to be replaced. Why not check these more regularly? The hair dryer did not work in room 156. My wife went to breakfast with a wet head. Everyone knew months ago that the QPR game was on May 4th, so why offer to upgrade my room to a pitch view room, and then tell me that this offer is being denied because there a football game scheduled?

Clean, great location and the breakfast was great. Top marks.
