Spacious rooms with all modern fittings and furnishings, bedding was fresh smelling amazing, lots of tech gadgets and a huge flat screen tv . We arrived late so couldn't see the lake until morning but watching the birds diving for their breakfast was a sight to wake up to. Great breakfast we had in our room as we had our dogs but was delicious with fresh pastries. Lovely to see all of the animals in the morning with the group of turkeys having a wonder round the car park . Alison on reception needs a big shout out to for all her help for our stress free self check in details if only every customer service had an Alison, it would be a pleasure. Some reviews bring this great place down and yes there's the odd cobweb and couple of things that yif you wanted to moan about you could but why when you have a quiet comfortable clean room for a good price, I've paid more and stopped in some awful places so ignore the bad reviews it's a great place to stay . Thanks waterfront lodges for our stay .

It is a lovely setting with a spacious room and bathroom. Plenty of seating area and mini fridge which came in handy. Terrace was very spacious, quiet location lovely for a peaceful break. Bathroom very modern and spacious. Comfy beds and lovely sheets. Great size Tv!

I’m not sure if the hot tub was topped up with water from previous guests as i feel the water level could have been higher, and could have been at a higher temperature (ccompared to other hot tubs I had used) The birthday package I paid for in the room was slightly disappointing, although I was given a discount for it on arrival which I appreciated. Cleanliness in the bathroom could have been better considering the cost of the stay. when phoning the property it can be difficult to get through to them, your phone call will be cut off and the automatic line will say you are calling out of the hours (past 9pm) even though you’re calling prior to this time.

Great hot tub with a lovely view, comfy beds and sofas, handy location for Birmingham/Coventry, the sweetest animals, and easy check in/check out. Nice to have a fridge and kettle/microwave.

Finishing touches could have been better e.g. bin in the bathroom, hooks to hang coats, soap dishes. Great that there is a mini fridge, kettle, and microwave in the communal area etc, but bit strange that there are no plates bowls etc and also nowhere to wash up afterwards. Needs a bit of TLC e.g. stains on the carpet/walls. Overall good value for money but could be absolutely amazing with a few extra touches - would book again

Fantastic location and accomodation. Spotless and somewhere to definitely escape and relax. Just a shame the breakfasts are at the weekend as we went midweek which would have been the cherry on the cake. Staff were helpful and considerate of my needs as a wheelchair user. Loved having the animals to visit outside the building too. The Alexa in the room which also operated the lights was a handy touch, especially for me with mobility issues. Would definitely return again if visiting that area another year

Breakfast not being available on a week day and would have been useful to have places to visit and takeaway menus available

There was no breakfast available for us but the accommodation was fantastic smart systems on lights and bathroom facilities Amazon voice control center tv with streaming a able hot tub in a super secluded space private deck to water front and we were fortunate enough to to have ducklings cost us a fair amount as well as more-hens and geese . The entrance to the property has a small holding and on request you can feed the animals there are alpacas pig goats hens turkey and more it’s absolutely worth every penny we will be returning

The room is pet friendly so unfortunately there was animal hair in the carpet and there was also a few hairs in the bath but the bed sofa shower and sink were clean and so we’re all surfaces so it’s not a massive issue and it is stated it’s a pet friendly room

Being greeted by a number of animals on the front before entering the reception was such a special, unique touch! The receptionist was lovely and couldn’t help us enough when it came to finding nearby places to eat/order from. The room exceeded expectations, from the facilities to the cleanliness! Everything was clean and spotless! The private decking with the hot tub was such an amazing experience with the ducks regularly visiting us as we admired the stunning views around us. It was such a lovely evening/night, and we’ll definitely be back! For more than one night too!

The only little fault we had was that it seemed that our hot tub was positioned facing away from the views, so for us to sit properly it meant sitting with our backs towards the views which was a shame.

This is a very secluded hideaway. The room was lovely, modern, comfortable, not overlooked at all and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. We visited out of season so the cafe and bar were closed. Parking is right outside the lodges. And everywhere is flat (no steps) for those who may have disabilities. There were ample towels. The bed was comfy.

We didn't really think breakfast would be provided, so it wasnt an issue. The breakfast provided was very basic. (The fridge in the breakfast room was turned too cold, and some fruit was frozen). Again, not an issue, juat needs adjustment. The rooms lightening can be controlled by Alexa ( the funky lighting), there had been a power cut so the alexa was not working and the owner ( with the only device to reset the system) was away. So maybe moving forward, a device with the alexa app settings should remain at the property. A spare toilet roll in the bathroom cupboard would've been good. The pillows were not comfy, for either myself or partner, but this is personal choice.

The facilities & decor were of the highest standard at least 4star in my experience. We went for a couple of days fishing. This is not possible at the venue unless you specifically book one of the two fishing lodges on the specimen lake. You can fish the North side of the lake by the chalets but I suspect it has been netted off as a nursery for the specimen lake so whilst you can see plenty of good sized carp outside your chalet you can't actually fish for them. Having said that the rooms were excellent & location about a mile from the pubs in Bedworth & there are plenty of day fisheries in the area.

Probably 'Buyer Beware'. Should have done more research rather than rely on photos. If we were just looking for somewhere to stay then no complaints. As a fishing venue not really fit for purpose. You have to book one of the two fishing lodges if you want exclusive fishing rights to the specimen lake.

Absolutely loved the seating outside on the decking. We celebrated new years and watched all the fireworks over the lake. The lake mirrored the fireworks in the sky it was beautiful. We then watched the rain hitting the water in the morning it was an amazing experience. The bed was so comfortable and the bath and shower is powered by one button which I found very amusing. The cabin got lovely and toasty but then when we got too hot we’d turn the heating off and open the door slightly for a cool breeze.

I didn’t like the thought of us not staying here sooner especially with how close it is to home.

The stay was perfect overall and better than what i had expected. When i first booked it and looked at the pictures online it did not look as good as it does in person. Its is very welcoming and cosy. We had brought our pet with us and he settled in very quickly and made himself comfortable. You are given all the things you need in the room and it is very modern with all the smart controls for the lights etc. You get a fridge, kettle and there is a microwave out in the hallway to use. We brought our own towels as there wasnt any to use there. You get an outside area where you can sit and enjoy the view of the lake. There is lots of takeaways in the area close by which makes it easier for food. There is a lot of area for walking the dog inside and outside of the lodges which is really good.

The floor outside was a bit muddy which meant we had to wash the dogs paws everytime we came back in. I would bring spare water bottles and wellies if you are coming in the colder/rainy weather.
