It was a great hotel and guys and girls who worked there was great unfortunately parked van close to room which was upper floor reversed to some trees as u always do as a precaution with tools in van boxed side door off ages ago for extra security .on the night some low life tried to break in through side door but had extra euro lock fitted so the scum never got in but wrecked the side of the door and van panel.this is why I try and avoid hotels as they are a breading ground for the doley scum bags who won't do a decent days work .so no tools taken just £2000 damage to door etc not sure this is a regular occupancy but I wudnt stay here again because of this.just avoid hotels if possible.

The junior suite was very large, the bed was very comfortable, the air con was excellent. The best part however has to be the spa, the pool is lovely and the whole experience was just wonderful. £10 per person for the entire stay is an absolute bargain, the staff at the hotel and spa were very friendly. Loads of parking too. We had a normal burger from the restaurant and took it to our room and it was delicious. Another nice touch was that if you stay more than one night and use the same towels to help the environment (you get a tag to hang on your door) you get £5 off the bar/restaurant which was good. The place was very clean and there was a lovely walk for our dog if you go outside the gate, turn left and 20 meters up the road go rough into the woods and it goes into a huge enclosed nature walk. All in all, I definitely recommend this place and the price was very reasonable and the staff were excellent.

Nothing that I didn’t like but a suggestion really. It would be nice to have a mini fridge, we were in the middle of a heatwave but even an empty one just to put your own water bottles or cans would have made it perfect. I was desperate for an ice cold drink when in the room.

We stayed for 1 night just as a treat for ourselves from daily life, being only 40mins away, it's a fairly local hotel to us. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Chloe who was very helpful. Our room was downstairs and we were warned there was a small wedding on but this was not a problem. The noise was very minimal even though our room was literally opposite the event. The hotel decor is very nice, the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need (although we didn't have a bedroom bin which was odd). Hotel grounds although not huge, are nicely kept. Access to Romans Spa was easy, and facilities here again fab. You do have to pay £10 to use the leisure facilities, however that's for the whole duration of your stay. Food was great, plenty to choose from. We went half board. Overall, we had a fab stay, the staff were really did go above and beyond. We will definitely recommend and definitely be back. Thank you!

The location was a little tricky to find due to an industrial area blocking access from one direction and there was also roadworks involving a diversion close to the hotel, but we soon navigated it.

We couldn't get dinner in the restaurant due to bookings for dinner packages however the bar staff said we could choose bar or restaurant menu in the bar so we were sorted out quickly. The children's hours in the swimming pool are very restrictive and clash with meal times. My granddaughter only managed to get 15 minutes on the first day and had to get out even though there was no one else in the pool.

The room was spacious with good facilities (shower/bath etc). The corridors were clean and, despite many guests having dogs (including me) the hotel smelt pleasant and clean. I was pleased to see that there were bins outside the hotel (for disposing of dog poo bags), unlike the last time I stayed. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The waitress who helped me on the first morning (1st January) was particularly polite/friendly and she went out of her way to be helpful.

There was one waiter (a slim man) who 'helped' (??) me. He was unpleasant in his manner. When I asked for an Americano (which I had been given previously) instead of coffee from the machine, he was rude and unpleasant, telling me that they were too busy to make it for me, but he then spent time going into great detail to tell other guests what cooked breakfast was available. After I insisted that I would like an Americano, he made me wait before reluctantly arranging for someone to get it for me. Considering how much I paid to stay for 2 nights at this hotel, it didn't seem unreasonable to ask for an Americano.... this waiter's attitude was not ok.

Comfortable and clean room with a spacious bathroom. The restaurant was great - luckily, we timed our breakfasts right but some people did have to wait for a few minutes for space in the restaurant to be able to get theirs. The breakfast itself was great - lots of variety and quality food. We also ate in the lovely bar area, which was fairly priced and has a good menu. We loved that you get a £5 bar voucher if you forego turndown... although we forgot to claim our voucher! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to the town of Hinckley. The pool is a good size, with a lovely sauna, steam room and hot tub jacuzzi. Towels are provided in here, which was very useful. Overall, a really great hotel. Thank you :)

Hours for children to use the pool area are restricted - we would likely have stayed in the pool area all day otherwise; however, I am sure adults travelling without children much appreciate the restrictions!

Breakfast was excellent, so much choice, something for everyone! The man on reception that carried our case up for us on the Saturday after check in to room 229( I think he lives there 🤣) as he was on shift a lot of our stay, even at night and on departure, such an amazing, cheery and professional guy!) Excellent pool, shame that it was £20 extra on top of the hotel price but still worth it 👌 they even had a cute little games room for the kids which they loved. A great hotel overall 👌 beds are super comfy too 👌

I didn't like the extra fee for the pool per person 😕 I also think the hotel is lacking a bit of nightly entertainment, maybe a live singer/band would be great. Luckily there was weddings on both evenings for music.

This was clearly a hotel for business or event customers, however the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool or spa, so I can’t comment on those. There was a charge to use the spa, as we booked through Booking.com, but we had been advised of this in the confirmation email. The buffet breakfast was good, all the elements you expect for full English and continental. It was also served hot which isn’t always a given in hotels. Large bar area set out in different sections and also an outdoor area. I felt very comfortable there, just on my own reading a book. The hotel’s best asset is their staff. Very friendly and welcoming.

There was a problem with the room we were initially allocated. It looks like there was a problem with the shower and it had been leaking for some time, affecting the outer walls in the bedroom. There was mould on the skirting board and the carpet was damp around the bathroom area. I don’t really understand why staff or previous visitors had not reported this so the problem could be addressed. I reported this to reception and we were allocated another room.

We like the hotel overall. Just a few minor issues.

I didn't like the fact that the lift wasn't working and it's been an ongoing issue. I have a disability and it's a major issue in relation to booking. Another thing, we couldn't order room service and had to go down to the bar to order the food. I mean it's the whole point of ordering room service for me and my disability. And no fridge to keep the baby drinks chilled. I booked 2 rooms, one for my daughter and granddaughter. When the food arrived, there were no tissues provided. It's the little touches that are lacking to push it to an excellent place to stay.

Very nice stay. I have stayed twice now at this hotel, although I will say the first time was better. Lovely staff. Nice spacious rooms and bathroom. The leisure facilities are great. The bar area is comfortable and fairly priced for drinks. Love the complimentary water in room and tea/coffee/buscuit. Great location and not too far from centre.

This time around the room we was in had a bit of a fusty smell to it (but I think this was down to dirty cloths being used by the cleaner or hoover bag needing to be emptied) Breakfast not served till 8am on a saturday so we did wait and unfortunately even though we waited and then went straight in at 8am, the food was only just warm. Both times we have stayed we have had a room without a view (just over looks a roof) it would have been nice for a view.
