Really good value for money. I requested a quiet room which was organised for me. Excellent parking facilities and the room was spotlessly clean. It was reset and cleaned every day and the staff were lovely. I found the large bed comfortable and the decor fresh and modern. I felt safe in the hotel and appreciated the ability to put the chain on the door for added security. There was a good desk and chair and the room itself was spacious. I have paid a lot more for a lot less!

My only very slight negative was the shower cubicle… there was a large step into this and I was just a bit cautious getting in and out of the shower.

Rooms were were a good size. Clean and comfortable. Hair dryer (that worked )iron and board all appreciated.

Breakfast was till 10. We all got there at 9.30 and by 10.00 the coffee, tea, juices etc were cleared away. Perhaps say say last breakfast at 09.30 giving people time to sit and enjoy their coffee and toast after the cooked breakfast? The sausages were not very nice either, looked undercooked, the vegetarian ones were nicer. Breakfast advertised as coming with toast but we were not told to get it ourselves from the toaster on the table so either cold breakfast or no toast on first morning.

Great staff. professional and welcoming. Very good value especially with breakfast included. Danny and his team are the sort of hotel staff you need after a long hard day. Chatty, friendly and helpful. Food was very good, breakfast was hot, good quality and even though we didn't know that the kitchen closed early on a Monday morning, they still served the full meal without complaint. The cleaners were also exceptionally polite and chatty.

The experience overall was exceptionally good. great car parking, but Greene King needs to spend a bit of money on this beautiful, but neglected building. The window frames are shot so the outside looks sad. This is a great location with enormous potential with great enthusiastic staff who should be compensated for maintaining standards.

Stayed here Saturday night as we were in town for a gig at the Queens Hall - the Pub was located about 10-15mins walk from the town centre. There was plenty of parking, you had to give them you car reg when you checked in. The room had been decorated to a modern standard and was very clean which we were very pleased with. The pub hotel was great and we would definitely stop here again if visiting Nuneaton again!

Not the hotels fault, the road where it was on had been sign posted as closed at both ends so we were stuck how to get to there but after a quick call they called us back and advised only one end was actually closed and they were located in between this and the other end. Apart from this there was nothing we didn't like about our stay!

Parking around the back for people staying. Nice welcome. Travelled alone with baby and was placed in a ground floor room which was well appreciated from me. The room was clean, plenty of space, all the facilities were in good working order. Power shower and water was hot. Bed was comfortable. Slept really well. There was some noise during the evening from other people drinking in the pub that were staying in the hotel but it didn’t bother me. I quite like the fact the two buildings were connected and would have used the bar if I hadn’t travelled with my baby. The restaurant/pub had a really nice feel to it. Fire was lit in the morning which was a cosy touch. The selection for breakfast was good. Continental and a choice of cooked breakfast. All well presented and tasted good. If I stayed longer I probably would have tried the food at the pub in the evening also as the menu looked good. All the staff I spoke to were really polite, helpful and attentive. Overall great stay and I will stay again in the future when I visit my extended family.

Couldn’t find any faults during my stay.

A warm welcome and friendly check-in. Our room was light and spacious with plenty of storage space. We met friends for dinner in the evening, the mac n' cheese was one of the best I have had. Very efficient and friendly staff serving us. Perhaps there could be one or two more vegetarian choices on the main menu. At breakfast, so good to see a vegetarian/vegan choice in a children's size.

Only slight thing was my beans and tomato were not served on the vegetarian choice. No major problem, they were very busy with only one person doing it all. Will certainly return.

I liked the location, nice and quiet though not far from the town. It's a short walk into the town, the museum, the park. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I asked for a quiet room and it was, with a nice view to the grounds and side on to the hotel, though I know some rooms face the carpark which isn't so nice for obvious reasons, but then you don't spend your time there staring out the window. This will be my third visit and hopefully many more if they continue as they are.

Everything was fine. I did have a minor problem with the sink. The plug was faulty and the water was very slow to drain away. Unfortunately it was not resolved during my stay. Apart from that all was well.

Lovely welcome, staff very friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast fabulous. Comfy bed, room clean, lovely hot shower. Only there 2 nights but towels were changed and bed made. Cups were washed, something we have never experienced in any other hotel and we have been to a lot! Proper key for door which we personally loved because the other kind never seem to work properly. Sockets either side of bed were a bonus as don’t always get that. Lovely meal in the evening was discounted as was Mon - Friday.

Room a little hot but able to open a window which was fine. Could have done with an extra shelf for toiletries as only 1 small one under mirror.

Location was good, plenty of parking. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good and had iron,hairdryer ect. Overall a good stay just a few minor issues but that didn't ruin the stay. It's a lovely place and has a great bar.

A few minor things could improve the experience. The lovely wall paper in our room was lifting, bathroom sink plug was broken so couldn't fill the sink just had to run the water, the heating in the room and in parts of hotel wasn't great, so felt cold especially in the breakfast area. The small heaters dotted around didn't really help. The toaster in the breakfast area needs replacing as it takes ages to toast bread. The water urn wasn't always very hot for drinks. Other than these minor things we couldn't really fault it, we would definatley stay again.

The bar and Restuarant area is huge. Different screens in some areas Showing sports, others News, also areas with no screens. It is very nicely decorated with Chalk Signboards offering deals and specials, a real flame log burner style fire. Food was fantastic a really great selection of steaks, burgers, chicken, flat breads and the dessert menu offered much to tempt you. Breakfast was great offering both Continental and cooked options. The rooms are immaculate, modern and comfortable with free WiFi.

My only slight issue was we had been travelling since the early hours and after dinner we decided to retire to the room with a drinkl and watch some TV. The TV had no sound at all on many channels and the only watchable channel was Channel 5. Obviously some sort of problem with the way the signal is recieved. Could not retune TV as the function had been disabled on the remote.
