Very good price for our 3 night stay which included a Friday and Saturday. Very convenient location for the castle and many retaurants available locally (although we ate in every night). Also travelling to Coventry/Birmingham very easy. Had considered cancelling because of the really high temperatures expected (and we knew from the online description there would be no air conditioning) so we asked for a fan before our stay as if none available we would have brought our own. They said they had fans but we took our own in case. We were able to leave it in the car, however, as there was a very effective one provided, cooling our room down for our arrival. Very impressed with the way the staff had done this. Food was good for the price as costs everywhere have gone up considerably in recent months. Air conditioned restaurant was pleasant and very spacious. Restaurant staff endeavoured to please and were efficient overall.
Nothing really as we had been before and knew what to expect.

The staff were amazing, every single person we came in contact with professional, courteous and friendly. We had drinks plus breakfast, lunch & dinner here across 2 days and 2 nights and had no complaints. As soon as I had booked and contacted AbbeyField the staff were really helpful and answered all my questions. The family were gathering for a funeral at Oakley Wood and this journey was made easier by having a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Alannah, Leo, Dylan, Dan, Luca and anybody I have missed off.
A few areas in need of some attention like hallways but overall good especially for the price paid. Our overall memory will not be a small scuff here and there it will be the staff who ALL went above and beyond in every aspect, well done team.

Location was great for where we needed to be and attached to a Chef & Brewer restaurant for dinner. The staff were lovely
To access our room we had to go up a steep curved stairs case with very narrow steps with a hand rail only on one side which for a 70 year old and a 66 year old carrying luggage was very difficult (it was difficult even without luggage). To enter the room the door was only about 5ft tall and my husband is over 6ft tall so that was difficult and he had to stoop all the time as room was in the roof so left there with a back ache. The bathroom was lovely apart from the fact that the fan didn’t work and the ceiling had mould on it due to the condensation. We did let the Hotel know about the bathroom so they could maybe remedy it for the future, but there was no point mentioning the other things as nothing you can do about a door height or a ceiling height.

Very friendly and helpful staff, willing to go out of their way. Clean bedding, very comfortable bed. Fan provided for hot evening. Nice hot shower. Welcoming, and pleasant dining/bar area. Lovely spot, opposite Abbey Field, near the Castle and a short stroll into the newer part of Kenilworth. Convenient parking, and they allowed us to stay a little longer so we could go for a walk. Good breakfast, with particularly helpful staff on duty. Bacon and eggs cooked to perfection.
Very small double, with a small window that didn't open very far. The room was hot even with the fan- but it was during a bit of a heatwave. A little tired in places.

On arrival there were available parking spaces.Reception was busy, but service when provided was quick & informing. The room was ground level, large, quiet, standard double bed,fan provided but not able to use when needing sleep, room temperature & throughout building very warm. An older building with lots of character. Staff were efficient, kind & helpful. The bar area & lounge were comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast area also large, and provided a good selection of continental and excellent hot options. Much more enjoyable than a stay at a large chain. Will likely book for future use.

Lovely stay at this beautiful property with free secure parking in the centre of Kenilworth. Staff were amazing and kind. The room was good with a comfy bed. The bar was opened and they have a small courtyard at the back and one at the front. Had drinks here (good selection) and breakfast in the morning was excellent. Will stay again. Please note if you are returning late they lock the front door, so ring the bell and wait for the smiley and friendly night staff to let you in. The village is gorgeous and full of history. You can walk to the castle with ease.
Shower could be better.

Breakfast: besides the continental displayed, you could order a la carte. It was a great idea because the food was perfect. Location: near the Abbey Field Park and downtown, but not too close so you hear noise. Also close to some castles. Transportation: Once I figured out the bus routes, everything worked well. Good service. The hotel also got me taxis when I needed them.
Breakfast: on Saturday and Sunday they start breakfast later than during weekdays, so I missed it on both days because I had to leave early.

The room was bigger than expected, the beds very comfortable and overall very clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities, and it was easy to ask for more tea bags and fresh milk. The staff were very accommodating. The hotel is located in a pleasant area, with a carpark. There's also access to the bar and restaurant which served great food. We would stay again.
The room was a little noisy at times ( located on the ground floor) and there wasn't much natural daylight, but this would not stop us returning to The Abbey Fields.

Nice little pub with comfortable accommodation. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the restaurant food was good.
On arrival the staff were “thin on the ground” and this impacted waiting times to check in and later when trying to pay our bill in the restaurant. In the morning I discovered that the tap on the shower was stuck which meant our water was stuck at a temperature that was virtually boiling hot, I reported this to reception when we checked out. Parking although useful is pretty tight, not for the faint hearted!

I have stayed here a number of times organising the Jensen Owners' Club stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show and Restoration Show, the staff have always been very helpful and the service excellent. Food has always been good
Just wish they started breakfast earlier than 8 at weekends but they helpfully have cereal and juices out. Some people in the group commented on the stairs and distance to the room but I think it part of the appeal of a medieval building
