pleseant staff, clean room, easy to find, lots of parking. Nice to read about the history of the place, and see the old parts of the building.

needed to put the extra electric radiator on as the central heating was on very low and the room and bathroom were chilly. Food was average. Veg stir fry had slithers of veg, mainly just noodles, salmon over cooked and breakfast eggs overcooked.

Weston Hall is a lovely old English building and has a classic look both outside and inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were in a small room (21) with a three quarter bed. It was a bit small really but we were only staying the one night. Apart from the small size it was very clean and tidy. We were welcomed by Graham on the reception, served in the bar by Lisa and looked after in the restaurant by Sof. Many thanks to all three for making our short stay so enjoyable.

Nothing really. Would be happy to stay there for longer, but would need to be a bigger bed. The breakfast could have been better.

Chose this location as our event was 5 minutes away. Worked out really well and hotel was ideal to have a drink in the lovely grounds in the afternoon. Breakfast was very good, everything we needed in the room. Wedding in marquee at same time was enjoyable to watch and disco at night did not affect us at all as music stopped 11pm. An ideal location.

Room had all we needed, was quiet & had window which faced on to brick wall. Did see other rooms which were lovely. Did not matter to us the main issue was that it was quiet.

We arrived and it was very difficult to park, there was a wedding or similar function on so the entire hotel was extremely busy, it was noisy and there was loud music into the night. This doesn’t normally bother me but we arrived late and was leaving early in the morning for our event ( before 7am) The next night was much better, we managed to see the bar area and chose to sit in there for a while instead of the room. The room was nice but was on the small side and only had one chair which wasn’t ideal for 2 adults. The actual building was lovely and was well kept.

Lovely hotel and excellent value for money. Staff very good and helpful. Lovely atmosphere and the food excellent. We were staying for a function and that was excellent as well. Beds Lovely and comfy. Look forward to my next visit. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we were woken at about 2.30 am by loud, angry people having an argument. I don't blame the hotel for their rude guests, who couldn't think of others, but it did go on for a while before they must have been told to be quiet. However, it was near Christmas and several functions on, so probably should of expected it and grateful only one incident. Didn't detract from the lovely atmosphere and great time we had.

I have been to this hotel many times over many years and more recently often eaten at the Stone and Ivy restaurant which is excellent in every way. Last night along with a group of friends I attended a Christmas Party night there. It was great fun we had such a lovely night and the food was amazing and it’s not an easy thing to pull off serving so many people at the same time but it was piping hot and delicious and the staff were so friendly. I live locally just a few miles away but decided to book a room and stay as a treat for myself. And what a treat it was I opened the door and was immediately wowed by the cleanliness it was immaculate. Even the tv remote was spotless ! It was a fab room with everything I would need, it had a lovely bathroom with a large modern shower. I had a great nights sleep and enjoyed a very tasty breakfast with lots to choose from. I’ve always loved Weston Hall hotel in fact my friends organised me a surprise brunch for my 60th birthday there. There is always a fantastic atmosphere with really friendly staff. Having finally stayed the night all I can say is it was wonderful, thanks to all concerned ! Joanne Carroll

room was comfortable and very clean, only problem was the view, it was of a brick wall which blocked the light out there was also wall paper coming away from the wall in various areas which made the room look a bit shabby, tv control was quite difficult to use for a control, could not work out how to get the tv guide up so really didnt know what was on.

Myself and daughter travelled from Wales for a family funeral. Our family lived local to the hotel, and the wake was being held there, so it made sense for us to stay there. We arrived early, and the lady at reception said it wouldn't be a problem to book in early. Just give them half an hour to sort it. We decided to get lunch in their dining room as we'd been up and on the go from 5.30 am and hadn't eaten! The young lady who waited on us was brilliant, Louise, she was efficient in helping with my daughters allergy and the chef came and had a chat with her about what he could do or adapt for her and even came up with a dessert that wasn't on the menu! Wonderful staff there! We didn't have time to finish our meal, and Louise said it wasn't a problem, we could have it later as room service. The wake that was catered for was exceptionally done. They were efficient in giving drinks on entry, and the food was well received. They respectfully and effectively cleared the empty glasses, cups, and plates in a very busy room. The room was a twin room with a double bed and a single bed. I asked for an accessible room, which it was. There was a walk-in shower. The bed was a little high for me but comfortable to sleep in, the mattress was firm and that's my preference for my joint problems. My daughter also said her mattress was firm and comfortable to sleep on. The shower was easy to use and had a good amount of water pressure and heat, also complimentary wash products which smelt nice. The room was warm, and there was a kettle, and with complimentary tea/coffee/milk, etc,

The only niggle really was the slight ramping/dips in the flooring that I didn't notice and kept tripping on, maybe a cautionary colour change or something to note the eye to say that they are there?! There also wasn't a toilet brush.

We loved the good old fashioned service we received and the maturity of the team.
