The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and decorated really nicely. The staff were absolutely lovely, they didn’t have eggs for the full English breakfast but compensated with extra bacon etc. They couldn’t have been more helpful and checked if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. They let us purchase a bottle of wine for a meal as they weren’t serving alcohol but we were assured that this was in the pipeline. They provided glasses and ice for my white wine.
Could have done with a sign prior to entry but maybe planning wouldn’t allow this. The sign was upon us when we turned and an aggressive lorry driver didn’t appreciate our quick left. One larger towel would’ve been handy but we had three smaller towels so it certainly wasn’t a problem for a one night stay.

This is a budget hotel a lot cheaper than any of the franchised budget offerings with more facilities and comfort. The staff were great, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was basic but I’m paying a basic price. The priorities were all there, clean room, on suite, kettle and tea making facilities, TV, WIFI, and free parking. I was traveling on a motorcycle and they allowed me to park next to the door for added security and piece of mind.
The only draw back no alcohol license and the pub was about a 15 minute walk away. Id rather keep the price than have a public bar.

The bed was comfortable and a good powerful fan helped during yhe heatwave. Room to hang clothes etc. Tv had access to log into Netflix and other services which was great. Yhe staff were very friendly and attentive and approachable
Very basic room. Bedside lights are USB rechargeable, luckily I had a wire yo do this. All the doors to rooms bang shut loudly and echo through hallway. And you can hear everyone talking in hall.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Watling Inn Hotel in Nuneaton, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the friendly and accommodating staff made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and they were attentive to every detail, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were immaculately clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I had a fantastic night’s sleep. The hotel's location is ideal – it’s close to key attractions in the area, yet tucked away enough to provide a quiet, restful atmosphere. Parking was easy and convenient, which was a great bonus. One of the highlights was the breakfast! It was freshly prepared, delicious, and offered a variety of options to suit everyone’s tastes. The dining area had a warm, inviting feel, perfect for starting the day on a positive note. Whether you’re visiting Nuneaton for business or leisure, the Watling Inn Hotel is a wonderful choice. It offers exceptional value, comfort, and service – I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to the area.

I recently stayed at Watling Inn Hotel in Nuneaton during a business trip, and the experience was both comfortable and convenient. The hotel offers excellent value for money, with clean, well-maintained rooms and a bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing efficient service and local recommendations, which added a personal touch to my stay. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to the town center and major transport links, yet quiet and peaceful. While the complimentary Wi-Fi worked well in public areas, the signal could be improved in the rooms, and the breakfast, though fresh and satisfying, could benefit from more variety. Overall, the hotel provided everything I needed, from free parking to a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would highly recommend Watling Inn Hotel for its affordability, comfort, and excellent service.

the staff were very good, The Meals we had ( Dinner & Breakfast ) were very good. We will stay there again. We have already recommended them to our family and friends
We live in a very quite part of the Country ( Rural Devon ) so we are not used to traffic noise our room was in the front so I could hear the noise of the A5 . Another guest said she was in the back of the Hotel and it was very quite so we will always ask for a room at the back .

Everything was great, the room was nice and clean, there was even a fan in case you needed it, but we were fine with opened windows. The breakfast was really good and actually the prices for meals were great, we didn't have time to stay for lunch or dinner. It was a very good spot for Leicester or Warwick. The staff was helpful and friendly.
We liked everything and we would book again if we traveled around.

We saw a few reviews about the property holding “at risk and homeless” people so we were initially hesitant. We shouldn’t have been. We were welcomed and shown to our room. It was a basic double room but absolutely fine! Working shower, Netflix on TV, comfy bed and they honestly couldn’t do enough for us for breakfast. They were all absolutely lovely. As for the “at risk and homeless” people staying there - they caused no bother and I absolutely had no problem being in the same property. I would much rather people be under a roof than out on the streets. It was lovely for the price.

This was our second stay at the Watlington Inn and once again it was a joy. The place is in the middle of refurbishment but it was still comfortable and clean. The ladies who run the place are amazing , they couldn't do enough for us and are the friendliest staff you could meet. We can't wait to see how it is when the refurb is complete
The only complaint we have is a lack of mirror in the bedroom but I'm sure that's in process. The road is an issue but there's nothing that can be done about it we still managed to sleep even with the windows open
