second time I’ve stayed here in 10 days. Terence and the 2 Emmas are so personable. The rooms are well thought out and very comfortable. bathroom nice with plenty of hot water and shower pressure. these are new owners, so any reviews before March 2022 are irrelevant plenty of parking spaces round the back and a nice bar where I’ve met some new friends on my travels breakfast is great

Hosts Terrence and Emmas were very friendly, welcoming and hospitable - made us feel at home and comfortable from the start. £3 pints you cant go wrong and we got a lovely sleep in a comfortable bed. Secure off street parking. Breakfast cooked by Emma was absolutely amazing - 100% recommended.

This is an incredibly affordable place to stay and it was ideal for me given its location. Easy access to Hinckley and Leicester. The showers were excellent and the bed comfy.

This is not the Ritz, nor does it pretend to be. It is cheap and clean and the staff very friendly. The OYO is reminiscent of the Motel 6 chain in the US: a cross in some senses between a hostel and an inn: one consequence of this is a locked main door after hours and no reception. Some may find this oppressive - I didn’t.

We travelled to attend the world record event for female bikers and many riders were experiencing difficulties across the region with bike thieves BUT our host made sure that he sired all the bikes safely and out of the way so that they were all protected. The food, drink and company was lovely and although they have only recently taken over and some renovations are required, they were lovely people and our stay did exactly what it needed for our group. Our double room was small but more than adequate for what we needed and although the whole place does need a little updating, once these guys are fully up and running they will no doubt make it an absolute amazing place.

I saw the reviews were mixed but that was from previous owners. the new owners have been running this place since March, so earlier reviews are irrelevant. I loved staying here. everyone is so personable and it almost felt I was staying with old friends. they clearly take a pride in their service and it’s obvious they enjoy all this. The refurbished rooms (I stayed in 107) are well thought out and despite me being ill at the time, I slept like a log. The room was very clean and at last, a hotel room with sockets that are at bedside and desk. The bar is a nice place to hang out with music playing and a really good vibe. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. loads of space in the rear car park. will be coming back real soon

just a constructive suggestion … change the bedside socket to one with added USB ports for charging.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean.

The heating was on all night and it become a bit hot in the night.

..The family that ran the hotel were exceptional and so ready to please, what an experience...... All the other guests were great fun and made our stay a party atmosphere, what a laugh we had. All credit to Emma and husband and 2 sons...so helpful and willing to help Thankyou Deb, Terry and Maria x

Some of the area wasn't too inviting

We were greeted upon arrival and treated extremely well throughout our evening stay. The rooms were to be expected for the price everything you need with out being exceptional. That being said we enjoyed our stay and evening in the bar and ate at the Indian restaurant which is hands down the best curry you’ll have.
