The property was very easy to find, ideally suited for local diving facilities and is so conveniently located for Leicestershire, Birmingham and Coventry. Steve is a wonderful host and a library of local information and tips. The rooms are clean, cozy, all en-suite and the breakfasts will set you up for the day.

There was nothing that I didn’t like nd I will happily stay there again. Already I have recommended Steve’s Place to my relations for their future trip to the area.

Steve was a great host who went over, above and beyond to ensure my comfort during my stay.

Without a car this would not have been the ideal location for amenities, however, most people would have factored that in before they book.

Steve is a lovely chap he made me feel so warm and welcome also was nice to talk to he even made me breakfast and gave me a lift back to barwell. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable

Steve was a top bloke. Went out of his way to be helpful. He even dropped us to the pub when it was raining. Shower was lovely and hot and the room very comfy.

I didn't like my roommate constantly farting in his sleep.

Nothing, maybe a fussy neighbour when I was confused about parking my vehicle, but truly a fabulous place to stay

Great location for us (travelling to Castle Donington), easy to find, very clean and comfortable, and Steve was very helpful giving us local advice and booking us into a nearby restaurant that he had recommended. And it was a very good restaurant!

We arrived early, but unsuccessfully tried to contact him for possible early (45mins) entry. Apart from that - everything went as smooth as clockwork, and Steve is a very good host.

Steves place is cozy and comfortable! Steve is very easy going and a fantastic host. I stayed because I was visiting Stoney Cove which is right next door. It was the right decision! Steve also makes a great breakfast, and was kind enough to drop me back to the airport. All in all, an amazing stay at an amazing place, thanks Steve!

Steve is friendly and fun, very good host! The room was an en suite and very comfortable. He prepared breakfast for me and recommended all places around!
