It was a great hotel and guys and girls who worked there was great unfortunately parked van close to room which was upper floor reversed to some trees as u always do as a precaution with tools in van boxed side door off ages ago for extra security .on the night some low life tried to break in through side door but had extra euro lock fitted so the scum never got in but wrecked the side of the door and van panel.this is why I try and avoid hotels as they are a breading ground for the doley scum bags who won't do a decent days work .so no tools taken just £2000 damage to door etc not sure this is a regular occupancy but I wudnt stay here again because of this.just avoid hotels if possible.

We stayed for 1 night just as a treat for ourselves from daily life, being only 40mins away, it's a fairly local hotel to us. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Chloe who was very helpful. Our room was downstairs and we were warned there was a small wedding on but this was not a problem. The noise was very minimal even though our room was literally opposite the event. The hotel decor is very nice, the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need (although we didn't have a bedroom bin which was odd). Hotel grounds although not huge, are nicely kept. Access to Romans Spa was easy, and facilities here again fab. You do have to pay £10 to use the leisure facilities, however that's for the whole duration of your stay. Food was great, plenty to choose from. We went half board. Overall, we had a fab stay, the staff were really did go above and beyond. We will definitely recommend and definitely be back. Thank you!

The location was a little tricky to find due to an industrial area blocking access from one direction and there was also roadworks involving a diversion close to the hotel, but we soon navigated it.

We couldn't get dinner in the restaurant due to bookings for dinner packages however the bar staff said we could choose bar or restaurant menu in the bar so we were sorted out quickly. The children's hours in the swimming pool are very restrictive and clash with meal times. My granddaughter only managed to get 15 minutes on the first day and had to get out even though there was no one else in the pool.

The room was spacious with good facilities (shower/bath etc). The corridors were clean and, despite many guests having dogs (including me) the hotel smelt pleasant and clean. I was pleased to see that there were bins outside the hotel (for disposing of dog poo bags), unlike the last time I stayed. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The waitress who helped me on the first morning (1st January) was particularly polite/friendly and she went out of her way to be helpful.

There was one waiter (a slim man) who 'helped' (??) me. He was unpleasant in his manner. When I asked for an Americano (which I had been given previously) instead of coffee from the machine, he was rude and unpleasant, telling me that they were too busy to make it for me, but he then spent time going into great detail to tell other guests what cooked breakfast was available. After I insisted that I would like an Americano, he made me wait before reluctantly arranging for someone to get it for me. Considering how much I paid to stay for 2 nights at this hotel, it didn't seem unreasonable to ask for an Americano.... this waiter's attitude was not ok.

The room was spacious, modern, and perfect for our family of five, with two large, comfortable beds and a foldaway bed that worked well for the kids. Each child also received a fun “cheque book” filled with vouchers for treats like mocktails, popcorn, and cookies—a thoughtful and enjoyable extra. Breakfast was a good buffet spread with the usual hot items like eggs, bacon, hash browns, and beans, along with pastries, cereals, and a variety of juices. It was more than enough to start the day. The real standout was the staff—every single person we interacted with was polite and welcoming, The pool and spa area could use a bit of maintenance, but the kids still had a great time and burned off plenty of energy. Overall, a very enjoyable and family-friendly stay.

I loved the style and decor of the venue and lobby , the restaurant and bar was clean professional and nicely presented. The room was clean nice and smartly laid out and cleaned whenever requested. The staff were professional smart and helpful.

Only thing I didn’t like was that we wanted room service and whenever we rang up to place the order nobody answered the phone on multiple nights of our stay and we had to go to the bar to order it. The phone was working because reception answered when we rang with other enquiries.

Hotel beautiful, had a spa day then stayed over. Food excellent, portion sizes huge! Staff very friendly and chatty and appeared happy at work. The spa- no fresh air, no access from the spa to outside seating unless you went back to the hotel. Pool area, one window was very dusty and looked like mould hanging off the handles. Lockers in the changing room, a nightmare to operate. Staff in there were overall very friendly. I had a back massage as my treatment and came out bruised on my shoulders. Hotel excellent, spa not so.

The spa needed fresh air, whether doors opening onto a seating area outside or at least windows opening. Far too humid and stuffy, especially on a hot day. Came out for lunch and only went back for my massage despite the spa day being 10-4. Not enough loungers or seating around the pool.

Our Family room was EPIC - 2 x super king double beds, the biggest beds we have ever slept in - super comfy and loads of room for our little pug to run zoomies - which she did!! The Hotel Staff went above & beyond for us - we had a very early 6.15am start on the first day and the chef Mayur (at 9pm the night before) made us 4 breakfast bags to go which was very appreciated so Thank you. Chloe on reception was fantastic, nothing was an issue and she was very lovely and helpful. The stay was topped off with the awesome use of the pool & spa facilities on the sunday, again with a really lovely chap who was very kind and helpful! Thank you to ALL the staff our paths crossed, you are a credit to the hotel industry, 5 stars all round - We will be back one day we hope.

We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who welcomed our 3 kids with a kids goodie bag! They were thrilled. This included a drinks bottle, teddy, activity book and a cheque book that they could use to redeem popcorn, cookie, mock tail and milkshake. Amazing! The pool is big and lovely. Food was great - even catering well got my husband who has coeliac disease. The beds were huge and comfy. And fit the 5 of us in the room which is quite rare - we usually have to book 2 rooms. There was loads of space for us all.

Lovely warm welcome, did try and be a bit cheeky and get into room earlier but not possible, but staff really friendly and very courteous towards us. Swimming pool, etc, really well kept and lovely. Just be aware that if you make a booking by any other agent than direct with the hotel, you will be charged £10 to use the pool and facilities. Food was some of the best we have had in a hotel. The homemade lasagne was gorgeous 😍. Also want to give recognition to the waiting staff in the evening; Lottie and another young chap we're friendly, attentive, and just great at their jobs. Room was very spacious and had a good night's sleep. Also very grateful to be lent use of phone charger.

Surprised by additional costing of spa. Also in room no shower gel provided and only 4 small pots of milk. Wasn't really a problem as asked in reception, and they provided more however, expected it to be there. No direct usb charger in the room, so need to have an adapter to charge electrics.
