We had a number of rooms at The Mill as we had a big group of family meeting and the pub is big and could cater for large groups. The hotel and pub together is very convenient. There is plenty of parking, close to the rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms clean and look like they've recently had a spruce up. The beds are really comfortable. We all commented on this and had a good night's sleep. It was a piping hot day in July. And while fans were in the room, we didn't use them as the rooms stayed pretty cool. The pub opens up early for breakfast. And all our breakfasts were enjoyed with coffee on tap as free refills. Overall, our stay here was good value. The manager (could be owner), was incredibly accommodating from the moment we arrived.

From a hotel point of view theres nothing not to like. The rooms are value for what you pay. The main of the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I did overhear a couple of them having a little gossip about us. Though I get it, my family makes the Addam's Family look normal. Though I strongly recommend talking about customers when they are not at the bar in ear shot 😎😁

Large, airy bedroom and a comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with shower over the bath (not my favourite, especially with a plastic curtain). Good breakfast for a reasonable add on. Large car park. Hungry Horse chain but dinner was good value.

Limited toiletries but definitely adequate for the price. Very low water pressure which made showering quite a challenge. Sad to see the struggles many places have today with staff shortages. Not blaming the hotel. The staff did everything possible to make our short stay enjoyable.

Excellent value, having many of those little things which we often find to be missing at other more expensive hotels. There was a full length mirror, coat and bathroom hooks, a shelf for your washbags in the bathroom, a large TV in the right place, large towels, instant heat from an electric heater and parking just outside. The room was quiet, spacious with a super king size, comfortable bed. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent too. A shout out also for the friendly staff! We wouldn't hesitate to return when we are next passing this way!!

Stayed here for the first time, It had just reopened after flooding in January. Our room was basic but very clean with a very comfortable bed. Hairdryer, Iron and ironing board all available in the room as well as tea and coffee making items. Room cleaning daily from very pleasant staff. We went for a drink one night into the bar, staff were very nice and chatty. Pool table available. The menu looked good but we never ate so cant comment. We did have breakfast which was lovely and the lady was very pleasant and helpful. We have family that we were visiting close by so the location was perfect and we will definately be returning.

There was nothing we did not like but there were no beer mats on tables so could be bit wet and sticky. I did ask for some and these were supplied. Maybe thats just me though.

The biggest thing was how cool the room was. I went during a heat wave and was mentally prepared for an uncomfortable night but I felt an instant relief from the heat when I went in. That’s probably irrelevant most of the year, but tbf it was nicer this time than the last time I went. The shower worked this time and we had enough towels

Just a bit dated, wifi isn’t great and the tv is both old and the volume is capped at a very low level. I understand why, but could do with it being a bit louder

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had all we needed for an overnight stay. It is situated next to a busy road but we noticed this quitened down after 10pm. (It would have been even less noticeable if the accommodation had double glazing). We had evening meal in the pub. The food was well presented, tasty and good portion size. The staff were courteous and attentive.

We were disturbed till after 11pm by noise that sounded like a tumble dryer and/or washing machine was in a room/laundry close by. It was a tad annoying.

Easy to access and on site restaurant. Nice room which had what we needed, staff were very good.

Rooms are not on mains drainage. So flushing a toilet or turning on a tap creates a lot of noise for your neighbours and vice versa as the pumps kick in. Outside the property in relation to the accommodation block could do with a good clean, cigarette butts everywhere especially outside your front door.

Cosy room, felt private enough to have my curtains open, nice lamps and spacious comfy bedroom. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure too! Was able to park right outside my room, very handy my having the hungry horse just there and u was able to bring my meal to my room.

The bathroom had a bad smell of damp despite me leaving the window ajar the whole time I was there. My main issue was when the radiator was on it meant the boiler (wherever that is!) made a loud sound intermittently the whole time. Was loud when turning on the tap for example. It echoed through the room and woke me up early in the morning way before I needed to be up which affected my whole day unfortunately.

Staff in restaurant very friendly and efficient and menu really good with lots of choices .We enjoyed every meal 😋

Room is OK but needs cleaning in the bathroom corners .The windows framework in need of a Good paint .We ran out of clean towels milk and coffee etc. We requested replacements and was assured by staff they would sort this but didn't.

The room was very spacious, clean and included everything inc an iron and ironing board. The Bed was huge (Queen size?) and very comfortable. There was a bath and shower and plenty of towels. We are our evening meal in the restaurant and it was really good. The price was very reasonable and the service was quick, which is not always the case. I would certainly stay here again.

It was a little noisy between 06:00 and 07:30, as some of the guests are workers away from home and they were a little noisy when leaving their rooms. It wasn't a problem as we are normally awake at this time anyway.
