Excellent value, having many of those little things which we often find to be missing at other more expensive hotels. There was a full length mirror, coat and bathroom hooks, a shelf for your washbags in the bathroom, a large TV in the right place, large towels, instant heat from an electric heater and parking just outside. The room was quiet, spacious with a super king size, comfortable bed. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent too. A shout out also for the friendly staff! We wouldn't hesitate to return when we are next passing this way!!

Stayed here for the first time, It had just reopened after flooding in January. Our room was basic but very clean with a very comfortable bed. Hairdryer, Iron and ironing board all available in the room as well as tea and coffee making items. Room cleaning daily from very pleasant staff. We went for a drink one night into the bar, staff were very nice and chatty. Pool table available. The menu looked good but we never ate so cant comment. We did have breakfast which was lovely and the lady was very pleasant and helpful. We have family that we were visiting close by so the location was perfect and we will definately be returning.

There was nothing we did not like but there were no beer mats on tables so could be bit wet and sticky. I did ask for some and these were supplied. Maybe thats just me though.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had all we needed for an overnight stay. It is situated next to a busy road but we noticed this quitened down after 10pm. (It would have been even less noticeable if the accommodation had double glazing). We had evening meal in the pub. The food was well presented, tasty and good portion size. The staff were courteous and attentive.

We were disturbed till after 11pm by noise that sounded like a tumble dryer and/or washing machine was in a room/laundry close by. It was a tad annoying.

Cosy room, felt private enough to have my curtains open, nice lamps and spacious comfy bedroom. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure too! Was able to park right outside my room, very handy my having the hungry horse just there and u was able to bring my meal to my room.

The bathroom had a bad smell of damp despite me leaving the window ajar the whole time I was there. My main issue was when the radiator was on it meant the boiler (wherever that is!) made a loud sound intermittently the whole time. Was loud when turning on the tap for example. It echoed through the room and woke me up early in the morning way before I needed to be up which affected my whole day unfortunately.

The room was very spacious, clean and included everything inc an iron and ironing board. The Bed was huge (Queen size?) and very comfortable. There was a bath and shower and plenty of towels. We are our evening meal in the restaurant and it was really good. The price was very reasonable and the service was quick, which is not always the case. I would certainly stay here again.

It was a little noisy between 06:00 and 07:30, as some of the guests are workers away from home and they were a little noisy when leaving their rooms. It wasn't a problem as we are normally awake at this time anyway.

Very comfy bed. All staff are helpful and willing to assist. Accommodation was in a separate block across the car park. Felt safe and secure. Nice and clean.Pub itself could do with a refesh. The food was cheap and ok. Breakfast was good and cooked to order, with yoghurt cereal fruit and Danish available. I would stay again

A lot of staff seemed very new or undertrained. But they were polite. The balcony/walk way needed a good clean as the light fittings were really dirty and absolutely full of debris and cob webs, which detracted from the cleanliness of the room. A weekly brush would soon sort it out.

Property was clean and spacious. The bed was fantastic and everything felt fresh

The windows are not double glazed and can hear nearby traffic and the windows wooden frame did not close properly or seal properly. There was a lot of build up on condensation in the mornings on the windows. No music or tv,s on in the morning at breakfast which can become awkward when eating close to other people.

The room was large, clean and comfortable with a very comfortable large bed. Great to be able to park close to accommodation. Pub was good, had a nice evening meal with family, very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. We had cooked breakfast which was excellent. Will be staying here again.

The continental breakfast option was a bit poor. We went to breakfast about halfway through service and there was no white bread for toast. Choice of fruit was poor, apples or bananas and there was a rotten apple at the bottom of the bowl. Only one fruit juice option (apple) same jug on both mornings. No butter for toast, only sunflower spread. Just needs a bit of tweaking for us to score 10/10

The staff were great. Aidan and Katie very welcoming. The food was delicious. Portions very generous. Would like to see soup on a winter menu.

Need glasses in the rooms/bathrooms for drinking water etc No toilet brushes. Told it was set by Health regulations. To ask staff to clean toilet bowl not really appropriate!

Food really was well cooked and bar and waiting staff very pleasant.Very comfortable bed and accommodation was clean and lots of hot water

Had to run a lot of water down the plug hole before the water got hot .I thought it was an unnecessary waste .Sliding mirrored wardrobe a little annoying as kept sticking and hard to use but everything else great 👍
