We were in the Dubai Suite for 8 nights in mid-October. Our flight arrived early and the front held our bags securely without any problems. We received a call when our room was ready (they got us checked in earlier than expected!) and walked us and our bags up to the room. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated! The kitchen was equipped with just what we needed. The large bathroom had a tub with two shower heads: a sprayer and an overhead rainfall. (Note: The hairdryer was in a drawer under the safe.) And with the 90 degree temps we experienced, the clothes washer and drying rack were a extremely welcome. The bed was super comfortable. SUPER COMFORTABLE. Think firm pillow top mattress. Firm enough to support my back - I never woke up sore. And we did a lot of walking through streets, malls, souks, the Green Planet, Aya Universe, and the Garden Glow. We took advantage of the swimming pools, the shuttles, and the concierge. Don't worry about bringing a towel from the room to the pool as they have beach towels available for drying off. In addition, there are changing rooms nearby the pools. (As a small aside, do visit the restrooms on the Lobby level, they have the artistic sink faucets I have ever seen.)

This is not the fault of the hotel, but currently there are not a lot of local restaurants nearby. The closest we found were next to the subway station, which is a few blocks away. Plus, the nearby "grocery stores" were pretty small and very snack food oriented.

The staff was so kind. The car parks were too enough. I really liked.

The recption femail employe asked me to pay an additional money alleging the tax. She shoked when i replied that i had paid full cost online. After that she said ok ok. It's not good to employ suck as these people as it is 5 star hotel. Also when i asked the reception repeatedly to get something, they keep me waiting for 15 muints. One time i back to the hotel at 12am found the room is not clean. The boffiet was not many items. I disliked the lighting in the room.

The price was very good, the room was spacious and well equipped but the floor was not very clean even after the daily clean. The gym was good as was the outside pool. Staff very good at getting taxi's. Very close to the metro but no restaurants around the hotel. Very comfortable bed.

Cleaning could be better in the room. Rooftop pool not open. Breakfast pots should have been cleared more efficiently, enough staff but used pots not cleared quickly. Limited cuisine for breakfast for European tastes. No bar.

Nothing all is good

Everything. From lobby interior, front desk, concierge, dining room, the room the bed n pillows. We like the shuttle provide but we only managed to use shuttle to n fro airport, also shuttle (chartered from and to) the dubai outlet mall. We also like that this hotel is within 3-5minute walking distance to the nearest metro station. They allowed us to leave our luggage till our late night flight n we were allowed to use the prayer room as well, at anytime. The cafe downstairs serve a very good coffee! And the breakfast was in good variety and enough to keep us full. They have a variety of bread, pancakes and egg station! We enjoyed our short stay very much. Totally worth staying and definitely will come again!

Shower and toilet is separate, not enough hanging rack but this is very small matter.

I am giving 5 star because the staff was really hardworking .

I always choose Accor and I have worked with Accor for many projects in the past. Never seen Accor managed property suffering like this. Calling out to Mr.Hamza GM of the property to support your staff. Property is understaffed , the staff is really struggling to keep up with the crowd. They were overbooked when I checked in. The breakfast could be better. I ordered water twice with some tea bags it never arrived. My son was really thirsty and I had to go out and buy water for him . The phone was not working many times when I tried to call for water it looked like they are switching on the voice mail when the staff is not available.

The location is close to airport but offers taxi service to everywhere. Convenient to local store for last minute things you may need. Room was a full service with kitchen and had all you need if you want to cook yourself. Pools and other facilities were well kept and the staff great. Room service was great and I must mention Prince was a helpful server. I would say my room was a bit older and lacked charger locations for your phone or computer. Could be updated to help with that. Really enjoyed the staff as they helped with any questions and also they have tour arrangements right in lobby for all your needs

It's a great hotel. They have 3 pools and a nice kiddies area. The pool restaurant has a decent menu, the coffee shop doesn't have much. The breakfast is ok. The staff are friendly and the hotel is very clean and neat. I had a bit of an allergy to the carpets, it looked and smelled clean but perhaps it needs a thorough vacuum. It's so close to the airport, you can see the airport. You can take the metro from the airport and get off at Ggico station which is walking distance to the hotel. The metro can take you to basically anywhere for a fraction of the price. It's a dry hotel but the millennium hotel next door has some nice restaurants and serve alcohol. There's also a convenience store, nail salon and barber across the street value for money. Great if you need to be close to the airport.

The Grand Mercure exceeded all my expectations! We were upgraded to a suite which was perfect as we are travelling with our 5 month old baby and the extra room made it a lot easier to spread out our luggage. The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and polite, starting from Rain at reception to the porters, housekeeping staff and restaurant staff. The included buffet breakfast is amazing and the reason why I booked here in the first place. The rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning and the facilities are great. It’s super close to the airport and a very easy taxi ride.

Good place close to the airport to stay. Place was clean, breakfast was decent.

There’s no shuttle from Terminal 2, and the rooftop pool was closed. They had communicated previously privately but did not clearly mention these 2 critical things, one shouldn’t publicise free shuttle from DXB if it is not from all the terminals. Further the breakfast food was a bit cold with little variety in terms of proper meat curries etc.
