Wonderful hotel ! So Sofitel. Well trained staff and profesionnal. Massive iconic lobby, clean and beautiful. Connected to Wafi Mall by a couple of very discret doors, very cool when you want to quick shop. The room is bigger that the average hotel rooms in Dubai, and the water side view is so relaxing. Now, the breakfast is one of the best and tasty I had experienced in Dubai (words from a 20 years visitors) and Oh My God the Orange & Date jam Oh la la so yummy and made in-house in a sustainable way. And by the way, the most sophisticated croissant in town, and if you like the simple croissant don't worry they also have it.

I was so glad to dive into the bathtub, then Surprise ! Flood with leaks throughout the bathroom from the bottom. Then they've fixed so fast and clean. So thanks !

A charming property in a prime location between Old Dubai and Downtown, just 10 minutes from the airport. Immaculately clean and beautifully designed, this property features stunning Egyptian-style architecture with a refined French touch. The furniture in the rooms is elegant and offers a classy alternative to the often extravagant styles seen in Dubai. There is a mall that is connected to the hotel and has a large Carrefour, which makes it really convenient for families with kids. Housekeeping staff are amazing. They even folded our clothes and organised everything when they came to clean the room.

The breakfast buffet really let me down. I understand it's the off-peak season in Dubai and rates are lower, but that shouldn’t mean cutting corners on quality—especially at a Sofitel, which is known for its high-end standards. You’d expect at least a decent selection of pastries and bakery items, but even that was underwhelming. Overall, the breakfast was a major disappointment and far below the standard you'd expect from a brand like this.

I had an incredible stay. The room was fantastic – super comfortable with everything I needed, and the view of the city from my window was breathtaking. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. The swimming pool area was simply gorgeous. It’s the perfect spot to relax, with food and drinks available most of the day. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and stunning views.

The hotel is a bit of a distance from the city center, which made getting around slightly less convenient.

We had the opportunity to check into our room earlier than expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is beautiful, and the room and view from the 35th floor were fantastic. Even though the view was not facing Burj Khalifa but rather the opposite side with a distant airport, it was still amazing. The pool water was perfectly clean and at a great temperature. The staff at the reception and pool area were exceptionally friendly and professional, as was the team in the restaurant during breakfast. Yes, sometimes the coffee machine would briefly stop working, or the staff would forget to bring the ordered omelet, but these are minor things that are completely understandable in such a large hotel. A little patience is sometimes needed, but after all, most of us are here on vacation to relax and enjoy. A big compliment to all the employees for their excellent service and dedication!

We arrived at the hotel very early morning expecting to have to wait till afternoon to check in. The welcome we received was excellent and the reception staff had us checked in and in our room by 8am. The experience in the hotel was exceptional throughout as a result of the reception by all members of staff and the way they did everything possible to help make our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast was brilliant with everything you might want to eat or drink being available. The staff were again very helpful in particular our waiter Rashid and waitress Sinita who both went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. The pool area is fantastic with plenty of loungers and cabanas available and a swim up bar in the pool. All in all we could not fault this hotel and given the opportunity we will definitely return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel and I can't express how delightful my experience was. From the moment I arrived until my departure, everything about this hotel was exceptional. First and foremost, the staff at Sofitel are absolutely incredible. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive team. They made me feel right at home and were always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. Their genuine smiles and willingness to go the extra mile truly made my stay unforgettable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's remarkable pool. The pool area was well-maintained, clean, and provided a serene oasis for relaxation. I spent hours by the pool, and it was the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.But what truly sets Sofitel apart is the food. The culinary experience here is nothing short of fantastic. I dined there several times during my stay, and each meal was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors, presentation, and quality of the food were unparalleled. The chef and kitchen staff deserve immense praise for their creativity and dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience. Special thanks to Soufiane, from Brasserie Boulud restaurant. His impeccable service and attention to detail added a personal touch to my dining experience

After extending my stay at Sofitel Dubai Obelisk, I can confidently say this hotel continues to exceed my expectations. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the rooms are as spacious and well-designed as ever. The thoughtful layout makes every moment comfortable, and having direct access to the mall remains a huge convenience that I truly appreciate. The in-room dining has been consistently impressive. The pricing strikes a perfect balance between value and quality, making every meal feel indulgent without being overpriced. What stands out the most is the incredible service. The staff is attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Haania at the front desk deserves another mention—her warm and friendly demeanor really made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Breakfast continues to be a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I still wish dragon fruit was on the menu, but everything else has been exceptional, so it’s a small trade-off. The gym, though medium-sized, is perfectly equipped for a solid workout, and it’s been a great way to start my days. Extending my stay here has only reinforced how much I love this hotel. Sofitel Dubai Obelisk is truly a gem in Dubai, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, convenient, and memorable stay.

Quiet and nice pool, located conveniently not to far from the airport and downtown.

The room I booked according to the photos was with a bathtub by a window with a view, the room I received was one below what I booked with a bathtub in the bathroom. Not quite sure how that happened but I was disappointed and I believe wronged as I chose the room and hotel by the photo!

All of the above. Spacious room and great view (got a room on the 41st floor just by asking for a high floor room in my booking), fabulous breakfast with incredible choices. Very well trained, curtious and helpful staff.

I would not say I did not like the location, but it is a fact that there is absoulutely nothing in the immediate neighborhood. True, this is a huge city with probably the longes subway line I've ever been on. The metro is close, about a 300 m walk from the hotel, which is located next to a large hospital. Though in the middle of nowhere, you get to downtown by very reasonably priced taxis (about 25 local, or under 10 USD) and the very attractive Old Town, Al Fahidi is also within a 15-min taxi drive.

Everything!! From the minute we stepped from out of the Airport car, we had the most amazing customer service ever!! Whisked off to the 51st floor to check-in at the "Club Lounge" - whilst we sat, offered drinks and took in the most amazing views of Dubai. We cannot praise the staff and management enough at this hotel - we were absolutely blown away with the customer service from the bell boys, pool guys, front desk, housekeeping and most importantly 'Erick' and his team in "Club Millesime" My partner celebrated his Birthday during our stay and the way he was surprised and treated was just so so special- they gave him a personalized cake and all got together to sing "Happy Birthday" and Aswin for creating a hand crafted cocktail and Mariziel for the most amazing welcome and greeting for his Birthday breakfast and the next day for creating a daytime version without the alcohol lol!! Honestly if you can take the lounge option please please do.. these guys can't do enough for you and will make your stay unforgettable!!! Our thanks to Erick and Mariziel, Khin, Arman, Ishan, Gyl Aswin and Ayu. You are all Aaaaaaamazing !!
