Overall the WA is a superb hotel. Having visited a few other hotels in a similar bracket the WA felt much grander with a classic decor. The food & facilities are excellent: * Breakfast is very high quality * Adult pool is a decent size and nice setup * Beach area is sizable and offers a great view of Atlantis, Dubai Marina and a few fronds * Gym and Spa high class * Sunset 55 bar is a highlight yet somewhat sadly underused by guests * Food and service at Social restaurant was very good

BEWARE - currently there is construction work going on to the right side of the hotel (looking from the beach). It wasn't too much of an issue as we congregated on the other side of the beach where the adult pool is located and it wasn't in "banging" phase yet. The construction is just getting started (mid November 2023) so could be there for a long while yet. The concierge service to book activities outside the hotel messed up prices for us, which resulted in frustration and a sense we were being charged a hefty fee over just booking direct. Coffee service at breakfast was a bit slow.

The dinner buffet was Indian theme, in my opinion during public holidays the buffet should be international.

The security at the entrance was not friendly and he investigated what I was coming to do in the property and I clearly explained to him im coming to checkin and he kept asking questions...

Lovely, calm and well appointed hotel. Staff are wonderful. Rooms are spacious.

We have stayed here many times but we didn’t find the food as good as previously. For example, in a place like this one would expect proper chicken breast say in a Caesar salad or BLT sandwich. It wasn’t. The buffet has always been superb but though fine, did not overly impress.

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH BOOKING.COM because any problem you can have with a hotel they will not solve it. And though the hotel accept to cancel a reservation without charge booking.com will never refund you the money and will delete all messages you received from them and the hotel. So be careful and take screenshots of all these messages (also keep the emails you received in the e mail) because they delete all traces so they will not refund your money.

The Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah is everything you could ask for in a resort. The room was luxurious, clean and spacious with Dubai skyline views with daily free water bottles and cleaning twice a day. The food in the restaurant Mezzerie was amazing. Every evening you have a different theme buffet so it never gets boring. We have enjoyed using the pool and the beach facilities, all down to your very attentive team looking after us making sure we have a ice bucket with water bottles. Always made up our sun-beds with towels. The service provided by the hotel staff made this a 5-star experience. People who work there are exceptional in their careful attitude and professionalism. Thank you Waldorf Astoria, I would definitely return!

This is our 4th visit to the hotel and our 4th excellent visit, the staff are very friendly and the hotel a very peaceful and classic hotel with a fantastic decor and finish

Staff, rooms, interior, ambience, beach, pool. The only thing the hotel needs is a little more entertainment on an evening.

Beach, Beach service, Everything. Waldorf Astoria on the Palm is undoubtedly one of our favourite hotels in Dubai. Its elegance, ambience and fantastic service always make us want to come back. We wanted to say big thanks to the great team at the beach and especially to Akram for being very kind and for making our stay phenomenal. We will certainly be back soon.
