It was clean, comfy and beautiful surroundings of fields. We found the location easy to get to. It is serene and would be a good place to relax away from the busyness of city life. The hosts were lovely, we were delayed in traffic and arrived a little late but they were kind about it and waited for us. Breakfast was good, freshly prepared.

It was very quiet and I didn't feel it was child friendly. I had to ask my 6yr old to be quiet and not move around so much as I felt it would bother other guests. We only stayed 1 night not sure I would stay again with a young child. You were given a time for breakfast as it is freshly prepared. Luckily they were able to accommodate the time we requested because we had an event in the morning to attend.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this B&B in a beautiful, peaceful location just outside the village. Our room was very comfortable with lovely thoughtful touches eg fresh milk for our in bedroom tea or coffee. The house has been renovated and extended to a high standard with lots of windows and light coming in. The breakfast was among the very best I have had anywhere with a wide menu and all the hot dishes freshly cooked to order - as a vegetarian I was particularly impressed with a medley of mediterranean vegetables. Breakfast is taken in a room with lovely views over the garden and countryside beyond. Our host was helpful and knowledgeable about places to eat and many excellent places to visit in the local area. Cannot recommend highly enough and would definitely return if coming back to the area.

Lovely little B&B. Only has 4 rooms so it is small. Great location, close enough to the city to drive easily, but far enough away to have a quiet and relaxing rest. Me and a friend stayed to attend a gig at Hillsborough Park. It was a great location,we went to Meadowhall shopping centre on the way to the B&B everything seems to be a bout a 20 minute drive away. Room was clean and had pretty much everything you needed. Views were spectacular!! Lovely home cooked breakfast in the morning. Rowena was a fantastic host, really friendly! Very conscious of our timings to get to the gig, and did everything she could to help us get there on time.

Nothing really to complain about. The room didn't have TV, we didn't need one as we were out all night. There were tea/coffee making facilities and even a flask of fresh milk instead of UHT stuff. This was perfect for my friend, but I don't drink hot drinks so I didnt have anything. Would have liked some bottled water, when we got back late. I'm sure if I'd thought to ask before we left this would have been sorted.

Lovely b and b, in a beautiful location. Rowena was a brilliant host and made us very welcome. The room was comfortable and surprisingly big (we stayed in the family room, which has a double and single bed but didn't feel crowded). Breakfast was lovely - especially enjoyed homemade plum jam. We were invited to sit in the garden when we arrived, which was so peaceful and a really nice space.

Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, nice comfortable room, friendly owner, off road parking. Handy for the event we were attending on the Saturday and very close to Cannon Hall farm for the Sunday.

We were surprised there was no TV in the room. The plumbing was noisy. Unfortunately, the person in the next door room was showering for 45 minutes early in the morning.

Finkle green is a beautifully situated house, immaculate, comfortable, spotless and the couple who take care of it absolutely lovely people.Their garden is a little heaven with wonderful views where you can sit and enjoy for hours. The homemade breakfast is fabulous, and it was lovely to chat with Rowena and her husband, who owns it. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely B&B. You will feel very much cared for. And the pub next the Wortley Arms is not to mii either.

What a beautiful B&B with wonderful views of the countryside. The hosts were extremely welcoming & friendly. Our room was very comfortable with tea & coffee available. The breakfast was delicious & plentiful. We had access to their gardens to sit, drink & take in the views. Would highly recommend.

Not that it bothered us at all but there was no TV in our room

The room was very clean. Bathroom was beautiful. Loved the fact that there was no TV and that we could open the window. Underfloor heating is very efficient. Was a little warm at night. Area is fairly quiet. 8 minutes walk to the local pub the Wortley arms. Lovely food. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and was nicely presented. Very modern dining area. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Will return here again. Highly recommend it.

The owners were extremely nice and helpful people.

The only thing we did not like which unfortunately was beyond the owners control was lack of hot water. Due to a severe downpour the day before we were to stay the fuse for the hot water kept tripping out. We felt really sorry for the owners who did help us find accommodation for the second night.

Lovely overnight stay, spotlessly clean and comfortable en-suite room and delicious breakfast with a range of choices. Located in beautiful surroundings and the lovely host Rowena was warm, friendly and helpful, also booking us a table for dinner at the local village pub. Good value for money and would definitely recommend. Rowena also suggested a good local circular walk which we did, with gorgeous scenic views.
