Great hospitality! Room including toilet and shower were meticulously clean and had everything we expected. Tram stop is quite close to the pub. The blue and yellow tram lines really give you an easy hop on & off and pay only once for a day rider ticket experience to get in and around Sheffield. You need about 20 minutes to get to the Cathedral tram stop in the center of town. Pub itself definitely seems to have an intriguing history and is currently being run by a kind and really helpful family. I would certainly consider staying here again if I'm in the area.

The hotel room was clean and fresh and had a good shower , twin beds comfortable , had tea and coffee , kettle .. It was on a tram route to the arena so that was good . Very busy but extra trams put on in all directions . Lovely area in Hillsborough . No food was served here but a wethersppoons pub was couple of minutes walk away for breakfast , which was a lovely building .

Lot of stairs to climb , not suitable if have mobility problems . Seemed a bit pricey but was the cheapest left , after 1st booking let us down . Thats it really .

Room was spotless, modern bathroom. Beds really comfy, staff really friendly. We were attending the OEC for a tribute night location was fab round the corner. I didn't check about parking but managed to find a spot round the back

Couldn't open windows was really hot. I hadn't checked about a lift so my fault as my mum struggles with stairs but again not the hotels fault.

Friendly welcome and a good classic Sheffield pub. Returned after enjoying my Xmas Eve n Day stay in 2023. Plenty of drinks venues with a short walk. Street parking above n left behind the pub. Very comfortable single bed, plenty of space and good electric shower cubicle. Recommend room 3, rear of building away from any noise.

The staff at The Queens Ground were lovely. They went above and beyond to meet our needs which I am so grateful for. The room was spacious and bathroom facilities were great. The pub below was no where near as noisy as I thought it would be either. I also liked how there was another entrance so I didn't have to walk through the pub to get to my room if I didn't want to.

The shower was a bit noisy but that didn't bother us at all really. The bedroom doors slam closed but there's not a lot that can be done by that and it didn't effect our trip at all.

Though the room was above a pub and I stayed on a Saturday night I did not hear any pub noise! Room was clean with good-size tv, tea/coffee, desk and chair and a decent-sized shower cubicle in the bathroom. I went and had a drink downstairs, and the prices were cheap; the staff and locals were welcoming. Great value esp for a twin in easy reach of the city with bus and tram connections about a minute's walk away. Venue is on edge of Hillsborough which has its own smaller shops and restaurants if you need essentials.

Due to the city location I was awoken by a tram shortly before midnight, but other than that I slept well. There was no breakfast option available, but the room alone was worth the price I paid to be fair.

Fantastic pub downstairs, amazing Landlady and Landlord. Great staff, snooker table, music, karaoke and live some nights. Location great for restaurants and a short drive to the city centre and too the Crucible for snooker lovers. Lots of places for breakfast outside as there no food available, just normal bar snacks. My second stay there, lovely welcoming atmosphere, value for money.

It was cheap, cheerful and perfect for us. Breakfast is not included but obviously we knew that beforehand so it wasn't an issue. Saturday early evening and until closing the pub below was very lively (rocking) but friendly and when we got into bed at 11 pm we could hardly hear anything

The Room was Quiet, Clean and Comfortable. Shower was decent and Tea and Coffee facilities.

Location was further away than expected. Bus Transportation was hit and miss. I didn't realise it was just accommodation and no Restaurant/Breakfast facilities. It was my oversight though.

Bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless and quiet and very clean, includng the shower.

I would have liked a breakfast and thought it was included (but obviously misread the spec). Having aid that, it wasn't a problem per se, as Weatherspoons is almost next door and so I got one there. The access in and out via the rear fire escape isn't ideal
