The apartment was large enough for 4 people having 2 good bathrooms and good little kitchen. The washing machine was also a bonus. There were many different facilities available set in a very nice location. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. It would be great to be there in the spring and summer to spend more time outside as the location is very nice.

It's a shame that the bar isn't open as it would be nice to have somewhere outside of the apartment to hang out, but they did have a quiz night in the bar where you could bring your own drinks.

We had a really nice suite in the coach house for the five of us. Plenty of seating for us all, onsuite with shower to the double bedroom and a separate bathroom with shower for the other bedroom and double sofa bed. Large tv in living space and master bedroom. On arrival the suite was warm , individual electric storage heaters. We'll equipped kitchen wanting for nothing. Used the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, all very clean. Unfortunately the weather was awful so didn't get to explore the area, however the suite was so nice we were happy to stay inside for the weekend.

There was nothing we didn't like. We will love to go back.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly at Reception. The apartment felt like a house, with upstairs bedrooms, and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our one night stay. There was free use of the pool and its whirlpool, which were clean and pleasurable. We didn't use the sauna. Easy to locate down a narrow lane.

Just a few minor things (that didn't spoil the stay though). The utilities in the apartment were a little awkward to figure out, eg the washing machine for spinning our costumes after using the pool, we could hear the neighbour's TV when ours wasn't on (but it wasn't problematic), the shower felt as though something was missing from the on/off knob as difficult to turn on. The restaurant and bar were closed, but not sure if that's seasonal or permanent. Fortunately that latter point wasn't a problem as the apartments are fully sufficient.

Well organised and beatifully decorated 2 bedroom apartment with pool at close proximity. Really enjoyed the stay with indoor games in place, and reception staff were easy to approach.

Lot of outdoor facilities, which is great. But, they need a lot more maintenance 1. Crazy golf was not well maintained. Too much rubbish and branches 2. No football or basketball to play. We were told all balls were missing. 3. No tennis rackets or short of badminton rackets. 4. The pool was the best. Would have been good to have a swimsuit drainer

The apartment was huge! It was the best kitted kitchen I've seen in a long time! Receptionist at check-in was lovely.

The apartment was clean I think but they certainly didn't clean the window sills (lots of dead flys). There were the odd hairs in the bathroom too. We did book late so I suspect they did the room fast. Receptionist at check-out was interesting ... we asked about pool towels and were told using the room ones was fine. Returned them post swim and she was furious, even though she had said it was fine! The crazy golf was fun but needed a clean. Overall everything needed a bit of tlc

The place we stayed in was lovely, comfortable and clean. I found the receptionist when I checked in to be a little stand off ish. She didn’t tell me anything about what the place had to offer in terms of restaurant, leisure activities etc. The family staying next door to us had extremely noisy children and were screaming and running around at 2am. I have children of my own and I personally feel this was unacceptable, obviously not Wychnor Parks fault but it made my 2 nights away with my children unpleasant. On a more positive note, the swimming pool was great and the staff were very friendly. We made use of the facilities ie, crazy golf, outdoor play area and beautiful walk around the grounds.

Beautiful, spacious apartment. Well equipped. Ensuite master bedroom, large flat screen TV. Lovely countryside setting. We stayed in February so the weather was cold and the rooms were fairly cold but heaters were provided that heated quickly. However the ensuite bathroom was cold despite the radiator. The apartment had lots of storage, a dishwasher and microwave. It's a good 5 minute drive to the main road so best to come ready with your supplies. The staff were friendly and super helpful.

The leisure centre facilities had good and not so good aspects. A great sized pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi but mixed changing room with communal shower so you had to go back to your accommodation to take a proper shower, dry your hair etc. Also we didn't like that children were allowed inflatables in the pool as it''s marketed as a peaceful country retreat.

The apartment with kitchen was perfect for our short stay, had all we needed. It was good to have a small shop selling meals and basics with the lack of a restaurant. Swimming pool was good, we also used the golf course, football area and table tennis. The kids entertainer put on was good, great views from our rooms.

We would have loved an indoor games area for when it rained, table tennis, board games, pool etc. The children would have liked some beach balls etc to play with (or to buy from the shop). Golf was overpriced at £20 for 3 of us.

This aparthotel is absolutely amazing! We went as 3 adults and 6 children. We had the 3 bed apartment and the 1 bed lodge. Both were clean and well equipped with everything you would need. There was kitchen roll and toilet roll supplied, including washing liquid, sponge and dishwasher tabs and sachets of salt pepper and tea and coffee. There were sachets of milk in the fridge also. Enough to get you through a day or two until you could go and do your shop. We had our supermarket shop delivered to our apartment, which was nice and easy. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and helpful. Lorraine at the leisure center is an absolute asset to Wychnor! So bubbly and kind and caring to all the kids and adults! The facilities were clean. The kids were lucky to spend around 2 hours a day in the pool everyday as it wasn't so busy. They played for hours in the playground and on the crazy golf and table tennis. All bats and balls are supplied by Wychnor and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The area was safe, and we could rest indoors knowing the kids could be out all day on their own (ours were aged 10 & 12). We also had a 17 year old with us who enjoyed the outdoor sports area, tennis courts, the pool, and the gym. The area is stunning and so scenic and there are so many places on site to sit and have a picnic or just read a book. We would definitely come back and understand why Wychnor has the great rating they truly deserve!

We hope the bar and restaurant will be open by the time we go back! It would be nice to have a large broom and mop in the apartment as there was only a dustpan and brush in ours.

Everything was new and beautifully appointed. Every corner was sparkling clean. We stayed in no.27 which had 3 rooms, plus an en-suite in the master. This is not just a holiday lodge, it is an exceptional house that is better than most homes. The kitchen had everything you need and it was good quality. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful' The grounds are gorgeous. The pool is a big bonus, we loved it. The mini golf is fun. There are games provided to keep the kids entertained. The free use of equipment is fantastic so the kids ( 8 & 9 ) had a go at tennis, badminton and table tennis. There are a few necessary food items available at reception which is helpful, as we self-catered.

This wonderful place is undervalued and underused! With such lovely views down to the river, an outside cafe area is sorely lacking! Signed walks to the river and through the woods would be fab! Followed by a cream tea or Sunday lunch once the restaurant is open again. Nature boards to follow would be a bonus, as would carvings of woodland creatures for kids to find, etc. There's nothing bad about this place, it's really beautiful!
