As seasoned travellers who have stayed in five-star hotels around the world, we can confidently say that the BLVD Hotel in Blackpool has exceeded all expectations—particularly when it comes to cleanliness and attention to detail. Despite being a relatively new hotel (just six years old), the level of maintenance is absolutely outstanding. Every corner of the property is spotless. The bathrooms are immaculate – from the pristine mastic sealing to the shower screen that looks as though it was just installed yesterday. Even the public restrooms in the bar are maintained to an incredibly high standard, complete with toilet tissue to dry your hands – a small touch that shows great thought and care. The in-room amenities are impressive, stocked with luxurious Balmain products, and replenished fully – something that many so-called five-star establishments often fall short on. Staff throughout our stay were consistently attentive, polite, efficient, and very well-presented. Their professionalism added to the overall sense of luxury and comfort. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food – both the quality and the service were excellent. In our view, the BLVD Hotel gives most five-star hotels a serious run for their money. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation.

Nothing not to dislike

The choice at breakfast was excellent, however the full English was a disappointment. Had much better quality at cafés. Evening dinner was superb. The cleaning team deserve medals, the place was spotless. Loved the gym. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent choice of hot drinks in the room.

Sofa in room is way too low, you need to replace this asap. Chair was fine. Glass panels on veranda need cleaning more frequently. I appreciate they are open to the elements but they look like they have been dirty a while. Perhaps a cleaning company with a cherry picker could help? The metalwork needs cleaning also. Paying to park in hotel grounds is irksome. Breakfast really should be included in the price.

First time but certainly not the last time to visit those hotel it was amazing ....I struggle walking a major distance so having the park entrance available to us right at our door was fab....the hotel and staff were fantastic and do helpful.

The family upstairs clearly didn't have any respect for other people in the hotel as they had a small child that constantly ran up and down the room up till 1.30am and then was up again doing the same all morning from 5.45am....this was no fault of the hotel just the family of the child ....I gave a child and at a small age he would not have been allowed to do that.

Everything, from the decor to the thoughtful Easter card and Lindt bunny gift in the room was excellent, but what stood out the most was the customer service and friendliness of every single member of staff we saw. The owners of the hotel should be proud of them.

There were 2 families in the bar area who were allowing their children to climb all over the (very expensive) furniture and were much more interested in drinking than paying attention to them. The bar staff were too polite to say anything to them.

The staff were very helpful

Despite having 7 parking space at the front door there is no parking for disabled drivers. The place are reserved on a first come first serve basis 😡. They do have a a large parking area but having to leave the hotel to go to the circus on our return this was full. I left my son who is disabled at reception whilst trying to find parking on the Main Street. Had to leave him again unattended in the morning also to collect the car. This is not acceptable in 2024 they have four rooms with disabled access but no were to park. Please read the 1982 equalities act

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous lounge/bar area, stunning room overlooking the sea with a lovely bathroom, separate dressing room/closet area with fridge, safe and tea/coffee facilities. Very comfortable bed with huge TV, sofa and desk. The BEST hotel curtains I've ever come across...it was dark in the room regardless of the time of day; fantastic if you want a lie in.

We found it a little difficult to find the hotel entrance. There is an entrance sign but maybe a 'hotel entrance' sign would be beneficial as the road upto the front of the hotel looks like a car park entrance. Need an additional bin in the bedroom/sofa area as there was only one in the dressing area. The price for a Saturday/Sunday stay for 2 people was quite a lot. If there was a pool then I'd say the price was well worth it but I don't think I'd stay on a Saturday night again due to the price.

Breakfast was really nice as was our dinner.We actually live in Blackpool and the Boulevard is only a stones throw from our house.My husband has a mobility problem and soon we will have to use a wheel chair.As we live here but come from Northern Ireland we get plenty of family coming to stay with us.We have passed the Boulevard numerous times and remarked how nice it looks. Our overnight stay was a present from our daughter.I would highly recommend this hotel.The alcohol is a bit pricey with a beer and a glass of wine costing over £16 but it’s worth it for a stay in this fantastic hotel

We liked most things but the quilt was extremely heavy making the bed difficult to move about much Also the hot food at breakfast was a bit disorganised as you didn’t know which side to stand to be served.I had to wait a while for food and my toast was getting cold.Apart from those small complaints it was perfect.

Staff went above and beyond. I left a message when I booked stating that the booking was for my dad's 60th birthday, on arrival he walked in to a card with a lovely message, cake & other sweet treats... he was over the moon. My parents had a lovely time in the Sea View Suite and say that the room was clean and comfortable. They could even see the tower from their balcony which made my dad very happy :) Every member of staff they encountered was friendly and approachable. Thank you to the Boulevard Hotel team for making my dad's 60th birthday special!

I only have one complaint and that is the crazy price for breakfast! £19 per adult and £15 per child. We decided against the breakfast and ate out. A breakfast for a 3 and 7 year old who would likely only eat a bowl of cereal and maybe some toast at the cost of £15 EACH is utterly obscene.

Love the bedroom, food and general hotel on whole. Staff very friendly and helpful, even when are room key stopped working for a random reason it was easy sorted by reception staff. We even had are room upgraded too free off charge on arrival to adult only room floor. You are also close enough to everything that you can walk to most things if your feeling fit or most likely get the tram with it just being outside hotel doors.

The car park isn't the best. So it's good car park if your able to get a space, if not you have to park in over flow car park whats not too close to the actual hotel and if it was raining you would be drenched plus overflow car park in a whole looked very dodgy as in poor lighting and not very secure. Didn't feel safe leaving my car there, luckily for me my wife seen a space very quickly in main car park after 2 hours in overflow and never moved my car for 3 days after, because I was worried about parking in overflow.
