I've stayed in this hotel around 4 times now and I will continue to return. The hotel is absolutely spotless. The facilities are brilliant. The check in process in quick and easy. The rooms are absolutely amazing, so spacious and clean. Love the tea/coffee/bottled water provided which was also replenished by the cleaners when done. Lovely soft towels in the bathroom and really nice mini toiletries provided and plenty toilet roll. Beds super comfy and very big! Also a mini fridge provided which is great! Genuinely couldn't ask for more. The breakfast is fabulous and the food is great at dinner too. The cleaners are so friendly any time I walked by they would say hello and good morning. The hotel is kept clean throughout the day even saw the lifts being mopped a few times! The hotel smells lovely too. It's also in an absolutely great location. We stayed in a double deluxe room which we usually stay in but this time we had a spectacular view of the pleasure beach which was fun! My son loved it - great view although it is noisy with the rollercoasters during the day. Didn't bother us at all but if you don't like noise it wouldn't be for you!

The only thing I could even bring up was the time I was kept waiting for someone to attend to me and my son at dinner. Many staff walked by when we were standing waiting to be seated. Our food the first night also took quite a long time to come out however it's not really a complaint as it was really nice food just a little blip.

Have stayed numerous times, and have always enjoyed this hotel and will return again. The staff are always smartly dressed, which makes a huge difference aware of their roles and happy to help. Facilities always clean, the reception is inviting and the breakfast is brilliant.

The property itself is perfect, however i do think when you are already paying a higher price for accommodation you shouldn’t have to pay for parking also £18 per car, per night to park a car, when you’ve already paid to stay at the hotel is steep. I understand putting a charge on for those not staying.

I was staying with my 2 year old grandaughter, i entered and exited many times over my 3 day stay and found varying staff on reception did not acknowledge our presence. The only staff i found to be interactive was girl i spoke to when ordering room service and housekeeping in morning. When i arrived, i had luggage and a buggy and had to navigate opening the door by myself with my grandaughtet with no offer of help from gentleman on reception that day. Otherwise hotel itself has no fault. Food was very good and presented well from rolm service.

We got upgraded to a family room my little girl was super excited about this as she knew this meant she had her own wee space even though she slept with me she still felt like a big girl. Close to the pleasure beach staff lovely and accommodating at all times I have been before so I like that they offer complimentary products so I didn't need to carry as much luggage as we were getting a train.

I am just being a bit picky now but if I can only say one thing out USB in the tv wasn't working. And I bring a firestick but it wouldn't work. Maybe an upgrade to TVs with Netflix etc like most places these days would be something to consider for the future

I would really recommend you book a stay here. From the moment we walked in we were treat like royalty. Had a lovely chat with the receptionist about the rooms and I mentioned their penthouse suites and straight away we were offered the chance to look at one. Totally luxurious. Our twin room was just as lovely, with everything we needed. The beds were really comfy, and the room was spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was sublime. The waiting staff were top notch and nothing was too much for them. All the staff seemed to love their job. We have already booked another stay. Best hotel we have stayed in by far.

The £20 charge to park the car was a little high. But that's just my opinion not a complaint

Hotel is lovely. Facilities are great. Food in the restaurant we couldn't fault. All the staff were welcoming, very friendly and happy to chat with us. Our suite was really nicely decorated, very clean, lots of little extras from toiletries to slippers, and dressing gowns were provided. even a bottle of wine in the room on our arrival. It was worth every penny.

There was only one thing that let our stay down I did nt raise it with the staff as we were only there for one night. Every so often you would get the whiff of a sewerage type smell it was not very pleasant it seemed to be coming from the bathroom area, pipes maybe? It was not a constant smell just every so often.

One of our highlights of going to big blue is the buffet breakfast which wasn't on it was a set one which was not worth £30 for me and grandchildren I can go to brewers fare unlimited breakfast with more items on display for £10 kids free. I feel breakfast should be free for children at big blue after all £130 for 1 night is quite enough I live here but we are having the whole house renovated and the kids bedroom wasn't ready like a building site so I thought I'd treat them they love it there we all do I had my wedding reception there a few yrs ago beautiful hotel only a little expensive now

She was Head Waitress and Bar management. She was also very ignorant and rude to one of the Guests. Dark haired and spoke with a Foreign accent. Not good for the Hotels Reputation and Customer?

I like this hotel and have stayed on several occasions, has all the basics covered, and buffet style breakfast is always nice when your on a break

I feel like £20 a night for parking is a lot considering what is already spent on the rooms, also the room we stayed in made quite a whistle from the window frame as it was windy outside, not ideal. But wasn’t worth the fuss of trying to change room in the middle of the night when i had my son with me also.

Excellent location, easy to access trams to town, friendly and helpful staff, room large with comfy bed, had three good nights sleep, quiet hotel, sitting area nice touch with comfy chairs, clean with plenty of toiletries, tea making facilities and water provided. Breakfast was plentiful, only negative was bacon could have been crisper (my preference) and orange juice not to be watered down. Excellent stay.

Parking at hotel car park was £20 a night which felt was extortionate. I’ve never paid that much when staying anywhere else including London. So feel that was over the top and should be reduced to say £12 per night which would be more acceptable. Plus stayed out of season.
