We had room 12 it had a beautiful view and the staff were so welcoming and kind.
It wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom hemce. we didn't have a shower, and it had dated decor and needed some TLC. The room was TINY for saying it was advertised as suitable for a family of four. the three of us were on top of each other and the beds were so hard I struggled to get to sleep for ages Other guests were having an altercation from 1am outside (to the extent that the police were called), and it kept me awake, but thankfully, not my kids. I appreciate this isn't the managers fault, though.

The seaview was what I wanted, what I paid for and what I received. The hotel's location is what I consider "just around the corner" from loud and busy Blackpool Pleasure Beach; seconds away from the beachfront and minutes away from the busy arcades and attractions. The owners were friendly, hospital and a pleasure to meet. The room was cosy, comfortable and contained everything you need in a hotel room. Spacious parking at the front of the hotel left us feeling safe in the knowledge that the car would be looked after and we wouldn't incur any parking tickets. Thank you to all at The Roman Hotel for looking after us.
There was nothing that my husband and I didn't like about The Roman Hotel. It was a pleasure to visit.

The hotel was warm, clean, comfortable, and quiet.. The owner and his son were fabulous, very friendly, and approachable.
Being att the front of the hotel, facing the promenade, the noise of the constant traffic was loud, at times. The door to the room was very noisy when closing the door. The tv didn't work and no WiFi available in the room.

The friendly welcome as soon as we arrived, room was ready even though we were early, nothing was too much trouble. The tram stop was directly across the road, the family room was large with 3beds ,in the shower room could do with a bit of modernization, not complaining as it was a cheap getaway and would gladly stay again , excellent host .
Nothing not to like,it's a budget hotel, you get what you pay for ,yes it could with modernising, however it was very clean and tidy

The hotel is situated in a very conveniant location. Close to pleasure beech . The most helpfull friendly owner i have ever met . Nothing was too much . From extra coffee and milk for our room to more items at breakfast (plenty allready but the owner asked if we would like more toast and within a minute he was back out with 2 extea slices each with butter and more coffee/orange/tea. The rooms are in need of decorating/updating but i got what i expected for the price. I was not dissapointed . The owner never stops smiling and my wife and i would certainly use this place again for a nights stay .
It wasnt a dislike but the rooms do need to be updated and the parking is a little awkward. But you get Bed/Breakfast/parking and the happiest host ever in blackpool during the lights for less than £45 whats to dislike really

The host was a lovely gentleman and he upgraded our room with no extra charge to a bigger room. The beds were comfy and it was very conveniently located right by a tram stop. Even after check out the owner allowed us to leave the car parked on his property so we could have one last look around. The owner was so easily approachable as we required milk in the room and when we asked for some he even gave me 2 mini kinder bars to give to my daughter.
The only fault I can say is the showers are a pain to get at the right temperature but that could be down to not having them on the correct setting due to being dated showers.

Roberto was a lovely host. The price was very reasonable.
The hotel a little tired. But after Covid, and the cost of living crisis, I cant see many property owners getting their feet back on the ground, until they have more visitors.

There was parking . Glad only stayed for 1 night,But the bed was really comfy. So did have a ok sleep.
We found a few things on top of the wardrobe, what wasn't really nice to find. The blinds was full of dust. The shower didn't have alot of power behind it and was very small
