The family room was perfect for us. It had 3 rooms that interconnected- 2 doubles and 1 single. The room was spacious and clean. The fridge and coffee/tea facilities were very useful. Shampoo and body wash were also provided. The gentleman on reception was helpful and had us checked into our room within a couple of minutes. The location was great for us - a 10-15 minute walk to the pleasure beach but also a tram stop opposite for going further. There is also parking outside the hotel - we managed to get a space for the weekend with no charges. Overall, this hotel was value for money and we would return.

The walls are a bit thin - we could hear every word the neighbours said.

When I booked this room booking . Com showed me a picture of a room with 2 windows a bigger room ours was a smaller room with one window is this a mistake on booking . Com ?? The room was nice but not what we expected from the picture on booking . Com so we was a bit confused by this!! !!any explanation ?

Staff were as usual very friendly, informative and accommodating. If you need extra towels, pillows or tea/coffee, they are only too happy to drop them in your room for you or bring them to reception for you to collect. The recent addition of a small shop to the hotel is very useful for emergency items you might need for your stay.

I have noticed the TV signal can be quite poor in many areas of the hotel which reduces the number of watchable channels when you return from your days activities. However the free Wi-Fi (which has good coverage) is a thing. If you are able to, I would advise bringing a tablet to watch things like Netflix or YouTube. Not the hotels fault at all, but someone evidently liked to sleep with the bathroom light on near my room which meant the extractor fan was going all night, both nights of my stay. I'm not opposed to white noise, but I'd prefer if I had control over it lol.

Everything. We arrived early, but this was no problem and were shown to our room. It was a large double with two beds. The room was clean and roomy with the usual drink making facilities. A decent sized en suite. Everything was clean and cared for. The manager and his assistant were most attentive to our needs and extremely amiable. We wanted an extra room card which was provided readily for a fifteen pound returnable deposit. Nearly every time we returned we were asked if there was anything we needed There is also a tram stop virtually opposite, so travel about the town is no problem We recommend this establishment for anyone wanting to visit blackpool.

The hotel was amazing. The staff were really pleasant, helpful and polite. The atmosphere of the hotel was calm and quiet and really clean. The whole hotel smelt fresh as though the carpets had just been cleaned. The corridors and stairs were warm and well lit. The room, which was a twin, in itself was incredibly spacious which made the room very easy to move around in without falling over each other. The ensuite bathroom had a bath and shower and was spotless like the rest of the room. The room had basic brew making facilities and a decent t.v. I'd recommend this hotel to families. The room was large enough so a single parent could stay with a child and facilitate all the play the child could want, without filling the room. Equally two adults could occupy and not get in each other's way. Finally the hotel was quiet and calm. The owners have little control over who is staying there, but on our visit we heard nothing from the other rooms or from the corridor.

Two slight things were 1 I had to ask for extra sugar but the staff brought up a plateful, straight away with a smile. 2 the dining area was out of service so we had to go out for breakfast. But blackpool has no shortage or eating places, and there was a simple shop in the lobby for snacks, drinks and other bits and pieces.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Adil and Amir for their professionalism, friendliness, and assistance when I needed it. (Mobility Scooter user) My single room was comfortable, clean, and definitely adequate for my 3 night stay. Great sea view, more than adequate storage for clothes, etc. Wall mounted TV, tea, coffee, and milk were supplied. I was informed immediately on being taken to my room that I could have more if required at any time. My bed was very clean and comfortable.. BREAKFAST: Billy (the chef) is an absolute star and cooks everything fresh to order. He's super friendly and more than helpful. The breakfast has continental and cooked. Choice of eggs with your cooked breakfast a bonus. Thank you, Billy Now to the hotel itself after reading other reviews Yes, it's a little tired in places, and hot water is slow coming up to the second floor. BUT, let's remember this is an older building, so it's easy enough to let the shower run until it's hot enough. As far as I'm concerned, Trevelles is good value for money. If you are looking for a 5-star luxury, it's not the place for you, so instead of booking, then complaining, go and book somewhere more expensive.. The hotel is due for major refurbishment, and I would be happy to stay again either as it is now (a little tired and worn out in places) or when refurbishment is completed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful , the room and hotel in general was very clean I liked the fridge which is essential , location was great quiet location out of the way of all the hustle and bustle , it’s done out lovely and the rooms are pretty large

The view wasn’t very good and the room was very dark all day the lights were not the best either , and cooking kitchen with light snacks cooked breakfast and a bar would set this hotel as one of the best in Blackpool

The lovely and attentive welcome we received....The reception staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable... We can see that there is much time and effort being put in to make the Mars a great and valued place to stay... Long may the good work continue....

The staff acknowledgwd the pigeon difficulties within the internal courtyard outside our windows... Maybe a pair of table lamps beside the bed would have been welcome......

To be fair, it was a nice clean hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, one of the better low-budget hotels I have stayed in.

When we walked in the room at 3.30 pm the curtains were closed .. we immediately knew this meant one thing only ... and yep, the view was of a brick wall to the neighbouring property. This didn't bother us as we were only staying one night, but if I was staying here a few days, it could become quite claustrophobic.
