Hotel is big enough to be modern and professional like a premier inn or similar but small enough to care more. Hotel is clean and modern and doesn’t suffer from the Bain of my life “squeaky floor boards and slamming doors. So top marks to the guys who done the re fit. Breakfast is class well cooked food. Staff are great.

A small point machine latte is rubbish so had tea.

Hotel went above and beyond, even before we stayed. They answered all my questions, put up banners as it was my partners birthday, were really accommodating for families and Allergies. The room was great size for a family and we had a view of the sea which was lovely. Great location very close to tram and for the airport which we required. The hotel was recommended to us and we would definitely recommend the hotel.

Only downsides were the pull out sofa bed for our eldest as it wasn't the comfiest and the parking wasn't the easiest but we found somewhere. Overall the negatives don't even come close to outweighing how lovely it was.

Out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the centre or piers but still seafront for the beach, and about 15 minutes walk to the South pier. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The room and surrounding areas were clean, beds were comfy. WiFi was decent enough we were able to stream Netflix for the children on it. Great family entertainment at night and 24 hour pizza available for room service. We enjoyed the entertainment until 10ish with the children then ordered a pizza and took our drinks to the room so they could sleep. Once at our room, on the 2nd floor, we couldn't hear the entertainment, and it was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was buffet style with your standard English breakfast plus a choice of cereals and croissants, food was hot and tasty.

Despite a 3pm check-in, we arrived at 11:30 to be told that our room was available, which has never happened before. The person on the check-in desk was delightful. Managed to find a parking space right outside, again, this has never happened before. Walking through the restaurant area very pleased to have air conditioning, especially after the heatwave. The cleanliness was exceptional.

The room was really hot. I can't really complain as it was described as a small double, which it was and there was a fan in the room. The buildings were just not designed for the hotter summer temperatures we now experience. I would choose a larger room next time should it be available.

Lovely welcoming clean, hotel. We thought the room was bright and airy and the bathroom very nice and clean. Good power shower. Super breakfast and patient staff. Wayne did a fun cabaret. I liked his jokes, i think he should add a stand up segment We enjoyed being a bit further down from the main strip. Nicer beaches a 5 min drive away (St Anne's) Everywhere easily accessible by tram, which stops over the road.

The double bed sank down a bit..the shower was small and I tripped stepping out of.it! But my kid loved her bunk bed. need a few more plugs in the room and a dressing table/ desk. Also only lamps no big light. The tv was tiny and too high up, unless you lie down on the bed and view it. Not great if u wanna watch it but we werent there for that. Drinks and food extras were pricey- although they did sort us out with pizza in under 20mins at 11.30pm. We never got the kids comp popcorn, think they ran out..wish they had more free games rather than the paid for machines only. Lucky we got parking outside on the road but not many spaces and have to be quick to get them.

Staff were all lovely. Reception welcoming and helpful. Night porter great. Restaurant staff lovely. Everyone we spoke to was just great. Nice entertainment room, quiet but entertainment still on.

Location was a bit far out, uber between £5 - £10 ish depending on how far in you wanted to go. We walked half way. 3rd floor a pain, one lift not working. It’s like a maze, we kept getting lost. Sea view room a bit rubbish to be honest, 2 small windows you could only see out of by standing up at them. Walls paper thin Beds very noisy Probs won’t stay there again but that’s me being harsh on rooms and location Breakfast really good Tea/coffee in room and biscuits

Omg, iv stayed in so many places, and the Engish breakfast here is so yummy, nom nom, the sausage were the best iv ever tasted ( where do you get them from) the peace was fab, so quiet, food so nice, really clean, check in amazing, location perfect, tucked away past pleasure beach, not a problem, tram just over the road, £13.20 a day for both ( couple) can get on and off all day long, 1.00 am last tram towards carousel hotel, going other way, 11.30, please bear that in mind. Also, lovely live entertainment in the evening, we were so happy, because they sold budlight, which is all we drink, so was suited, lovely outside space for vapers etc, and a lovely view to go with it. The staff, and especially the bar staff, were efficient, polite, with a vibe that you know wanted to help. Negatives : apologies cos we loved it here and would book again, we were on the third floor, to which when reaching the age of maturity is a task, we were told, that if a person on above floors fails to shut the cage, you can not call the lift, I know it's alot to ask, but a system should be attending to making sure your guests are not having to constantly walk up an down them stairs, it's what will stop them coming back which is such a shame, it's not hard, just allocate per shift : the Duty of accommodating by staff checks. Also : the beds, seriously: the springs are ridiculous, room 310 : I came with neck ache and went home with it worse. Last and not least : continental breakfast, Nutella with no pancakes, there were literally only one butter croissant, no other choice. Anyway, I must add that we really appreciated that the staff are a credit to the management, cleaners, bar staff, reception and restaurant staff, which is easy to tell how much they care. Thank you everybody at the carousel hotel for a wonderful stay, please sort the beds, lift and buy some pancakes for that Nutella 😋

So 5 out of 5 for the 3 star Hotel, and whilst it's once had better days (by I expect many other owners) careful improvements carried out sympathetically to the rooms, has made it a place worthy of a stay. Breakfast this morning was great piping hot and tasty with nothing too much trouble. The staff were really awesome also polite, and attentive without being over bearing. My only criticism is that 2.4 miles away from Blackpool centre, but the walk there and back stretched our legs, and if you aren't able to do the same the tram stop is a few minutes away. Rather than a criticism the location is quiet and an abundance of parking on the roads surrounding when we were there.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and no request was too much for them. The room size was excellent. The facilities, from cot beds, to high chairs, to extra duvets, to 24hrs attentive staff - all were excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so very helpful allowing me to take my wife’s breakfast to her room as it was easier for her, rather than waking up our baby and coming down to the breakfast hall. I wish the staff in all hotels were as brilliant as the people here! An outstanding stay.
