Stayed for 1 nite in may. Was greeted by the lovely brian. He is a credit to the hotel. Friend for life I say. Nothing was too much bother. Extra pillows, hair dryer, brian lent me his personal phone charger as I had forgotten mine. The hotel has recently had a new owner and I know they are trying there best to update the hotel with a lick of paint new decor ect. I'm sure they will smash it. Rome wasn't built in a day. Position of the hotel is ideal for access to the towns bars and takeaways. Price for the hotel was a bargain. £6 for a breakfast and I definitely left full for the day that morning. Brian also went out of his way to add fresh mushrooms cooked in butter. As they wasn't on the breakfast menu but he did them especially for me. And I think all 13 guests that morning were happy 😊 see u again in the future hayward hotel 💋
Cash only at the bar. But wasn't a problem to get cash from nearby mashine. Shower a little grubby and carpets but that again I'm sure will be updated in the near future with on going changes by the new owner.

This was a spur of the moment booking and we weren't disappointed at all. Brian the manager is a friendly individual, welcoming, hospitable, warm, kind and a laugh. The rooms are basic but comfortable. We were offered breakfast however declined this time around. . The dining area and reception/communal room are clean, tidy and homely. The reception/communal room has recently been redecorated and is beautiful. We went as a family of 5, and the children enjoyed their stay as much as us. The Haywood is located very close to amenities with a short walk to the closet chippy, off licence, beach and pub. The room itself consisted of 2 doubles and an extra room with 2 single beds and en suite shower. Just what we needed and wanted for an overnight stay. We had a tv, and kettle in the room with everything to make a brew. We ordered a takeaway in during the evening and asked Brian for some plates and glasses to which he helped us out with,.without any hesitation. We enjoyed our stay so much that this wont be the only time we will be staying. We will be returning in the nearest future.
One down side was paying for parking, which wasn't a massive issue. The hotel is in the town and didn't have its own parking area. And the parking outside is council so you have to pay, however free parking from 6pm-8am Again this isn't an issues and can't be helped.

We stayed for a couple of nights on one of the biggest bank holidays, location was great right where we wanted to be and price was very reasonable. Brian was excellent, if we asked for anything he had no problem doing it for us, very approachable, friendly and made a very good cooked breakfast. Hotel was exactly what we wanted.
The bathroom was very small but that’s us being picky.

The manager Albert is absolutely amazing, went out of his way to meet mine and my autistic daughters need. Higher than Albert can’t say the same thing. I booked for 2 nights and booked an extra night. With this being the case we had to switch rooms. Unfortunately the tv didn’t work, albert went out of his way to find us a solution when higher didn’t care. Albert made our stay and I highly recommend just because of him. I will return because of him alone. Thanks for everything albert. My daughter even made him a picture before we left.

The hotel was situated to all that you want , close to all food outlets ,pubs & clubs & Tower & beach prime location.. Steve (the Manager) & Albert great ppl and hosting will do there upmost best to help you very approachable kind & caring Our room was large plenty of space , but the bathroom did need an upgrade but it did its job shower was hot & wet , beds were really comfortable and room was warm even without the radiator on. Breakfast was lovely Steve catered to all our needs there was cereal, toast , fresh orange juice tea / coffee & full British breakfast sausage bacon (egg fried or scrambled or omelette style) tomato & beans with hash brown .. lovely big dinning area and bar area cheap drinks
The only thing I didn’t like was walking up the stairs 2 flights but that’s just me I’m not very good at walking that many .. I wasn’t aware on booking.com you could ask for lower floors if available. & bathroom need a good upgrade

The location is perfect its right near the train station, the owner is absolutely lovely, the rooms are big and the beds are really comfortable, me and my friend agreed the beds are better than our own beds at home
The shower head was broken, the last guests must have broken it and not told the owner but we was only there for a night so we wasnt to bothered

Brian is one of the loveliest hosts we have had, he goes above and beyond and always with a smile! Our room was clean, basic but everything we needed. Short walk to the centre, and in a quieter location so good for staying with the children away from the hustle and bustle of town. This was our second stay but definitely not our last!
Nothing could have been better!

Optimal location, owner was accomodating upon arrival. Breakfast was good, asked what we wanted and made changes on request. Arrived early and looked after luggage for us so we weren't dragging suitcase around Blackpool. Room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and big HD TV. Had an Iron and ironing board available which my partner used. There was a corner shop directly across the street that provides all toiletries and goods from 7am if you need to stock up on essentials. Hotel was within walking distance from North Pier. All round awesome stay, will return next year.
Nothing, great priced hotel, awesome stay.

The staff was amazing. Very clean & very accommodating, the signals on the tvs was bad due to the weather, the gentleman offered to pop a film on downstairs for the children, witch was lovely of him, breakfast was lovely too. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again. Rooms was lovely and warm also.
Just a couple of blinds missing in my room but soon sorted 😅
