Hotel was warm and cosy and was comfortable for a long weekend stay. I personally didn't spend too much time in the room as I was at Rebellion festival but the time spent there was fine. Bed was comfortable and the hotel itself was quiet so sleeping wasn't an issue.

The shower lacked power and wasn't always warm. Bedroom was on the smaller side and whilst it had bedside cabinets a small desk would have been handy. A minor gripe would also be better curtains or blackout blinds as the sunlight coming through at 5am wasn't ideal.

Great location. Very clean. Have stayed here before a few years ago so I knew it would be a great choice.

There is nothing to dislike about this property at all. If you want a b&b or hotel with a bar then choose elsewhere but Malibu is an excellent choice for a nice clean bed and bathroom for an overnight stay. My only little issue was that i shivered through the first hour of sleep in my vest/shorts pyjamas so had to get dressed and sleep in my clothes.

The room was spacious and everything was spotless. We both had a comfortable night's sleep. It was quiet. Excellently situated near the train station and near all the nightlife that we frequented. Staff were friendly and we.would deffo go there again.

Not much to gripe about. No bar but we weren't bothered about that. Also no breakfast but again this didn't bother us as we were happy to have an extra hour in bed.

I liked absolutely everything about this hotel as everything was perfect as its a short walk away from the train station and there are local pubs night clubs and shops all within a few minutes walk and if you don't mind walking around a street a few minutes away from the hotel you can always go by the beach which is always a bonus if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel I would definitely recommend the malibu Hotel.

Located close to station and venue for Bootleg Social. Very clean basic room the hotel was quiet however, over the road from Funny Girls so can get bit noisy later on. Would recommend for a 1 night stay if you don't want any frills. We stayed in room at the top and it was very quiet. Would stay again.

No plug for wash basin and no teaspoons minor details wouldn't stop me staying again.

The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet, and the location was excellent. I was reviewing a music festival and I could easily get to the venue on foot, without any need for recourse to trams or taxis.

I would have preferred there to be a reception desk. However, there were often staff members in the entrance hall. There was also a mobile number to ring should I need anything.

Clean comfortable good location basic but okay for the price

Could use a fresh coat of paint and carpets cleaned or replaced also parking quite expensive and not the fault of the hotel but was treated to a nice view of a man urinating up against a lamp post when I went to close the window which was left open

I didn't quite catch the landlords name but he was very friendly and helped me with my issues regarding where to safetly store my rollator that I need to use. I booked in earlier than the 2pm slot so was caught without loo rolls bless him, I texted him while I was out and when I came back there were 2 rolls on my bed, thank you. The room itself ( 3 ) was a lovely small double and there are plenty of plug sockets which is a great bonus. As you can see from my photos there's also a long mirror which is great. The bed was clean and comfy with 4 pillows, I slept upside down as I like sleeping near an open window oh which has a lovely blind and has privacy screening on the actual window. The bathroom was spotless and the water was nice and hot for my bubble bath ( I only have a shower at home so this is a plus for me ) which also has an over head shower for those not wanting a bath ( personally I think you're mad if you hate baths lol ) . I'm not sure if they do serve breakfast as I usually eat out when on my holidays. I had a fantastic time and went to celebrate the Queens 70th Jubilee, such a lovely day and the tower was mesmerising. All in all 10/10 and I'd def come back if I can have room 3. Thank you. Ps I forgot to mention there's also free wifi.

Sadly the weather the next day, I was hoping to spend today walking around St. Annes and some shopping, but it poured it down so I came home instead. Ob this is not down to the B&Bs fault lol. There's nothing not to like.

I'm nitpicking but lil improvements would be awesome, no coat hook in room, used coathangers instead. Blind in room 2 seems useless as half see through I'd prefer curtains or blackout blinds, again a lamp would be awesome but no biggy.
