Great location, right near the shops and the beach. Public transport was easily accessible. Breakfast was lovely, we really enjoyed the variety available. Didn't make use of the bar as we were out all day every day but it looked like a nice space to relax. Staff were all helpful and polite, all information was clear and easy to find/understand. Rooms are quite small but perfect for somewhere to rest your head at night and the bathroom was spacious. The place seemed clean and tidy and we were very satisfied with our stay.

The shower was a bit fiddly to get it to be warm and it could be a little temperamental. Checkout time was 10:30 online but we were told 10:00 on arrival.

Easy to find and central, just minutes away from Blackpool North Railway station. Room was spotless and warm and the breakfast was lovely. Alison very friendly and had some nice chats with her. My room wasn't ensuite and she allowed me to use the vacant room next door for showers etc. Even going as far as to say she would make up the room and I could stay there with no extra charge. I was quite settled in room 7 so decided to stay, but nice to be offered the option and it was good to have shower facilities next door for a couple of days of my stay. My train wasn't until midday but Alison said i could leave my bag with her and collect later in the morning, allowing me to have a final wander around Blackpool and a brisk walk along the prom! I would certainly recommend 'Rest and Welcome' and will not hesitate to book again.

I arrived to such a lovely and warm welcome and was greeted with such friendliness. My room was immaculate, very clean and the bed was very comfy, I slept so very well. The an suite bathroom was exceptionally clean and I also had a large wall mounted television, all kettle facilities and welcoming biscuits and bathroom products too. I have recently lost my father and so i wanted to get away for my first Christmas without him to be beside the sea and to recharge and regather my self so i was very emotional. Christmas day I was extremely upset and wept my way through it yet the owners and their daughter invited me to enjoy some Christmas dinner with them and listened to me poor my heart out. They are 2 of the most kindest and loveliest people I have ever met in my life. I will be eternally grateful for how they looked after me whilst I was in their company during 1 of the most difficult times of my life. I will be returning for Easter with my son's and most probably again during the may bank holiday and within the summer holidays too. There is no where else i would ever go to now and could not recommend anywhere better because they truly are without a doubt the best B n B I have ever had the pleasure to be at and amongst such truly lovely hosts who could not do enough to help or provide for you Xxxx Lois

Wonderful, friendly lady who made a simple, but excellent breakfast. As they weren't busy we were upgraded to a lovely room (room 4!). Great value for money for that room, spacious compared to other Blackpool B&Bs. location is a couple of minutes walk to the station, funny girls and the tram. Nice little bar area on ground floor. Hairdryer and drink facilities in room. A shower that works well.

The single room on the very top floor with shared bathroom isn't great so try and get a double with en suite if you can. The place is certainly worth staying in compared to so many poor places in Blackpool.

Warm & welcoming hosts. Great location for Blackpool North rail & tram stations. Room layout excellent so that despite being small it never felt cramped. Plenty of tea and coffee in room on arrival. Very comfortable bed and slept well. Handy choice of the main room light & also smaller reading light above the bed. Excellent value for the price paid and would definitely stay here again!

Nothing to dislike. Everything was spot on for the purposes of my stay.

Didn't have breakfast on first day, second day family at funeral, owner explained could not do the eggs and toast on that day. Due to no one being there but cereal and other options would be there to help yourself. I explained I wasn't that bothered about breakfast anyway because I was going home early that day. She then gave me a free upgrade from a single room to a double room next to toilet and shower. Which I thought was very kind.

Just returned from an incredible stay here. Excellent breakfast service every morning, which consisted of a varied continental spread and expertly cooked poached eggs each morning! Clean rooms, the guest house is tidy and has everything you need within a homely atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the host, Andrew who was exceptional all week. I understand that he was covering for his dad (the owner) but nonetheless, the service was always exceptional. For the price, I cannot fault this place and will be back next time in Blackpool. It has to be among the best value guest houses in Blackpool!

Perfectly located near the station, the town and seafront, but not too noisy, excellent breakfast every morning and a clean and comfortable room with a view of the top of Blackpool tower! A brilliant welcome from Alison and John who are always wonderful hosts.

Felt really welcome and really clean room. Wish I could of stayed another night but had work next morning. Lovely and warm lovely hot shower. Really good breakfast my choice was scrambled eggs on toast. There was fresh juice cereal yoghurt loads of stuff you won't leave hungry.

It was perfect stay.

Value for money good local for were we wanted to go as went to funny girls At night also close to town centre even with walking problems

Was let down a bit by the breakfast you're choice was fried egg on toast or poached egg on toast or scrambled egg on toast would of been better with A full English breakfast there was cereal and juice and coffee and tea
