The communication before the visit was useful. The photos on booking.com were representative of what the rooms looked like. The welcome from the staff member was really friendly and he was very helpful and polite. The room itself was really clean, bed was comfortable. Included towels, fully stocked tea and coffee, toilet rolls and hand wash. (Have stayed in B&Bs before that didn’t include these!) Dining area was lovely, the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely use again. Separate car park across the road with reasonable parking fees was super convenient.

Really good location. Owner very pleasant and accommodating as we asked to change rooms. Breakfast and service was very good. We were in a large basement room which was very quiet. Could have been a different story if the bar was open 🙄

Just a personal observation that the room was busy with furniture and false flowers. Bit outdated. A lot of carpet and curtain decoration. Again personal opinion - less is more. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We arrived a little early but were able to check in straight away which was great. The owner, sorry didn’t watch his name, was lovely and really accommodating and even gave us an additional sea view room! The rooms are clean and comfortable and so warm. Breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked and so much!! We wanted to go for a walk on the morning of check out and were told, go and enjoy your last morning, don’t worry about your luggage, leave it in the room which was convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The young man who was working was very kind and professional. Breakfast was also lovely so can't fault it. Room was clean and had everything you need too.

Didn't realise till that evening the bulb had blown in bathroom and the TV had no signal and due to the amount of people logging on, netflix didn't work either. Loved the retro look but feel a slight modernisation could improve it a bit it hasn't put me off staying again.

Great stay! Host was so helpful and worked so hard. Lounge area not in use as an actual working bar which I didn't realise on booking but we were able to bring our own drinks and snacks and used the lounge area and pool table which was great. We had a tricky situation whilst in Blackpool and had to help out a vulnerable adult who had missed his coach home 3 hours away! The host enabled him to stay in the single room at very short notice and accommodated him and the situation brilliantly! We were very grateful! Located within 10 mins walk to the tower. Great stay and great host.

Fantastic host was really helpful. Brought us ice to our room for our drinks. Then brought a jug of fresh orange to the room for the ones who did not make it down for breakfast. When our train was cancelled he let us keep our room on until we needed to go no extra charge. Fantastic location and security very good in the hotel felt very safe.

Nothing really wasn’t the best decor but we didn’t care about that as was very clean and had everything you needed and the host made it.

we were on the 3rd floor so I was worried if my mum (who was coming later) would be able to manage them. even though there was not another room available to offer us, the lovely manager offered a single room just for mum (for free) which I thought was so kind (as it worked out my mum managed the stairs and we had a lovely stay. we got up to late for breakfast (our fault) but what i saw of it looked lovely.

just being up to many stairs, which was my fault for not finding out first (something i will try to be mindful of next time.

Perfect location for where we needed to be. Such a friendly host. Let us keep our bags in our room after we had checked out so we could explore on our final day without the hassle. Breakfast was amazing although fully appreciated due to the amount of alcohol I had consumed the night before. I will definitely stay here again just so I can try that Breakfast again. All in all everything we needed.

Internally clean, warm and tidy. Great location 5 minutes walk to the North Pier and near all attractions and tram line. Also near a car park. Very quiet. A freshly cooked substantial English breakfast. A lovely upgrade to a bigger room was very much appreciated, thank you. (Room 12)

It would be good to have a menu of what’s included in the full English breakfast as we didn’t eat everything & would have requested not to have chips with it, and some other ingredients we don’t eat to avoid wasting food. Also the cooked breakfast was lovely but was served before we’d had time to eat the cereal. Maybe play Radio 2 during breakfast or another easy listening channel to improve the morning atmosphere over breakfast.
