The gentleman who greeted us and showed us to our rooms was fantastic! He explained everything and was really helpful! We arrived at the hotel around 9 o’clock (check in was before 8 so we was abit worried) but the gentleman was there in seconds to let us in and show us to our room. The hotel is in a great location close to the train station, bars and the beach front! The room was clean and had fresh towels and a lovely selection of tea and coffee. The bed was so comfortable too. The Cuban bar next door is owned by the hotel, and is lovely and cosy with a great atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Nothing large to dislike, the shower door stuck a couple of times, there’s no hair dryer in the room and we could hear people passing our room and it sounded like someone was knocking on the door.

Hotel was clean and tidy very quiet when checked in which was a breeze louder at night as we was on the front but didn’t disturb us Great location only very short walk from Blackpool North and easy access for bars, Clubs etc

Staff really lovely, great location near the train station and north pier,, clean and comfortable beds. Great value for money

The shower didn't work- however we came ready to go out on the Saturday,, and was travelling back on the Sunday so it wasn't so bad, I did mention it upon leaving and the guy was very apologetic, I advised we was just reporting so they was aware, not to complain 😔

everything bed was very comfortable and the pillows..was in room 5 definitely would request this room again its at the back so you don't hear the pubs on the front was clean everything we needed x

if I had to choose plug sockets near the mirror for the ladies do there hair in would of been fabulous. but this would not alter that we was very happy with our stay x

Nice an clean room, you get a friendly welcome and then your left alone to enjoy your break. Great location for the gay village and surrounding bars etc. Overall a Great value for money room.

The roller blinds didn't really make the room dark enough to sleep and there was a strange smell possibly cannabis in the room when we first checked in. The shower cubicle needs replacing it wasn't very secure and let alot of water out onto floor whilst showering.

For some unknown reason, we were unable to stay at this hotel in the room we booked. The hotel did ring myself and give me the option of staying in their sister hotel across the road which was fabulous. Also received complimentary drinks. Was no hassle and the women was lovely. I found the bed comfy and it was in a great location. Also liked having the extra security of the front door locks.

Walking into the hotel smelt like a toilets which wasn't nice at all. It was loud outside, but you have got to expect this as its on the main road. Not the fault of the hotel lol.

I really enjoyed my stay. The landlady was lovely and friendly. I originally booked a room with no ensuit but she put me in a room with ensuit facilities, same price. The room was very comfy and I had the best sleep ever. The location was perfect for trains, pubs, takeaways and funny girls and a short walk to beach. The North pier in my opinion is the best for entertainment. I'll be back to Tropics. Tom

Our room was smart and comfortable. Staff was so helpful and made sure we were comfortable. Convenient location, closer to most sites we visited and a few minutes from transport. Will definitely use this accommodation next time am in Blackpool.

Great location, ideal for if you are going to watch funny girls. Very clean and bed was very comfy.

Room was very small but did not feel claustrophobic. The shower being at the bottom of the bed was a little bit strange considering I was staying with a friend haha. But other than that it was a great stay.

Our host was amazing! Very welcoming ad the location is great for funny girls and the strip with all the bars! For the amount we payed for two nights each as a group of 10 was amazing for what we needed the rooms for.

We came during farmers weekend which isn't advertised very well and they're all very rowdy and immature. Luckily the host to the tropics does not allow them to stay so we didn't have any staying withing our locations it was just when out during the evenings and in the day.
