We stayed at three cocks to attend the hay festival. It was a great location for this. The lady on reception was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated. It’s good to note there wasn’t food/drink available in the evening but this didn’t bother us as we were out and about. The lounge room had a record player and games which we enjoyed when we got back in the evening. They served a lovely cooked breakfast, which you order the night before. All in all a comfortable and friendly place. We would happily stay again.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. There was a welcome pack in the room which provided details of nearby restaurants as the onsite restaurant is currently closed. This wasn't a problem though and we opted to go to The Old Barn Inn which was across the road from the hotel. We decided to have breakfast on site and the staff were very attentive and accommodating...plus the food was delicious. If we are ever visiting the area again we would choose to stay here.

Large comfortable bed, clean , traditional styled bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom. Nice welcome tray with Tea,Coffee, hot chocolate, water and cookies. The staff were lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back

On a noisy road but the room had secondary glazing which helped. Had to ensure the radiator was turned off as the heat came on overnight. Basically a B&B not a hotel which you assume from the name. So no bar or restaurant. Breakfast was ok but rather expensive for what you get. A car is essential as there's not a lot to do locally.

Great breakfast in a smart coaching inn. Plenty of space to relax, read books, play chess, enjoy the gardens etc. Drive to Haye on Wye is about 15 mins so not bad.

The location is very remote - we were there for a wedding so it didn't matter. The rooms are small and not very private (it is a super old pub) - can hear conversations from other guests in their rooms and hear them moving around. Bed is very old and squeaky.

I felt like the lady of the house with the treatment. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was first class. It was like you were transported back to the original beauty of the house. There were quiet places to sit and soak up the opulence of the old charm of the building. Or you could relax in your room in modern comforts.

We booked a different hotel prior to staying here for our anniversary and that hotel ended up being awful.we managed to book in super last minute at three cocks hotel and we cannot be more thankful it ended up being the most beautiful boutique little hotel that felt extremely warm & clean with the breakfast being amazing ! the lady who owned the hotel helped us with places to go to in hay on wye and our anniversary was great! We will definitely be back ❤️👏

The hotel itself is gorgeous, the beds were very comfortable and everything was so clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the fridge behind reception so I could access fresh milk for tea in my room!

The staff could not do enough for us and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only small issue was that it was on occasion difficult to find a member of staff when we needed help.

Comfortable, clean, well appointed. Beautifully presented building. Breakfast very welcoming after a late night ! Ideally located for the wedding we attended .

We stayed on the top floor. Beams and door opening to room very low for a moderate height individual, due to nature of the building. Bathroom was separate from room across a landing. Not ideal if you need in the middle of the night, but beautifully presented.

From looking through the entrance to leaving the following day, all my expectations were exceeded. It was welcoming, beautifully laid-out, equipped with top quality items and everything one might need. The staff were polite, welcoming and highly efficient. one of the best "Resting Places" I have been to in my 80 years; I will willingly post similar Comments wherever it will support 3 Cocks Hotel, just tell me where.

Very difficult, as, by Sod's Law, everybody comes in at the same moment, Breakfast!!

Breakfast was full cooked welsh with petit pain au chocolat. Nice light and airy room. Room very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Ensuite lovely with nice products. Exceedingly nice public areas to relax in with games. Maybe light the fire in the evenings too please. Tea and coffee and biscuits appreciated.

The fire lit in the public areas on the chilly autumn evening would be very welcoming. That’s all.
