Superb location right on the River Wye. Easy access to Hay, Brecon and further afield. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options and all delicious. Our room was stylish and spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and everywhere was spotless. You couldn't wish for better hosts than Tina and her husband - very friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and very accommodating with additional requests such as an extra plug.

From start to finish and everything between one of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. The location was excellent. Right next to the river and river-beach. With plenty of short walks to the pretty local villages, rivers and beyond. The house had ample parking, well equipped rooms, beautiful view and surrounds, immaculately clean, friendly hosts and a stones throw from a number of tourist attractions.

Everything. View, beautiful large bedroom. Arrived in the dark to be greeted by a house decorated and lit up for Christmas. It made an excellent first impression. The cooked breakfast was well cooked and a good variety on offer. The shower was good, had the internet available for tv and charging sockets. There was also drafts and chess available to play (outside our room) which we did and the hostess was friendly and helpful.

Could have had a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge, in bedroom (as there was a fridge in the room) for tea and coffees but this is just a little thing we would have liked.

Aberllynfi House is situated on the beautiful River Wye with stunning scenery around. It was a great base for a multitude of activities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive with great attention to the details and information given. The guest house was a beautiful period property with charm, warmth and gentle decor.

The hot breakfasts were unfortunately pre ordered and therefore pre cooked. This breakfast was sadly below par for a establishment of this quality. It will not however not deter us from returning

Fabulous shower, fridge and fan in our room. Essential as we were having a heat wave. Lovely outlook of the river Wye and garden.

Road noise caused by having to have the windows open at night because of very high night temperature . This was an unusual situation caused by the heat wave.

Easy to find located on the B4350, but still nice and quiet. Lovely garden going down to the river. Nicely decorated rooms, beautiful breakfast room set us up for a tasty cooked breakfast with delicious homemade jam! Friendly hosts who were able to recommend places to eat and visit nearby.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, made an effort to adapt breakfast to meet our needs. The house is a fine old building with plenty of historic features-look out for the genuine Victorian toilet! Within easy walking distance of the Harp Inn for a good pint and a pub meal. There's a nice cobble beach just the other side of the river for anyone who enjoys open water swimming.

Nothing. Only drawback for some people might be background noise from the main road.

Lovely old house with beautiful view of the river. Very friendly hosts and spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this B&B. Perfect location for river walks and the Brecons. Pub with good food within walking distance.

The breakfast and the location were both excellent. The view from one of the the breakfast room windows looked like a painting by John Constable. Aberllynfi is ideally situated, with beautiful walks in all directions.

Everything was excellent. It's a shame that Tina and Dave are not allowed to erect a sign on the opposite side of the road from their entrance, which would make Aberlynnfi easier to find for visitors coming from the Hay-on-Wye direction.
