Good parking, comfy bed, tv, quiet room

The 8am fire alarm 😱 which after rushing down to get out was told due to burnt toast! No telephone in room - nice to have in case of emergency The shower was in the bath but nothing to hold on to for getting in and out (yes I'm a pensioner!) - could do with a wall handle for us olduns No food was available whatsoever in the evening... not even a snack and nowhere nearby to go to ... assumed (wrongly) we would be able to get a sandwich etc at 7pm ...

The open spaces in the lounge bar was an inviting space. The only staff member on shit was super attentive, informative, kind and friendly. The room was quite spacious and comfortable and prices of drinks were very affordable.

The car park is on the side of the building making it an uncomfortable walk in cold or wet weather to enter the building. There was only one pillow per person so extras in the room would have been nicer. The only mirror in the room was far away from any plug sockets making it impractical to get ready. Breakfast was a bit of a let down because the choices were not varied, and no fruit available which is what I was most looking forward to. Also no staff to be seen when we cam for breakfast until we finished eating and wete leaving.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable beds with spare comfy pillow provided. Lovely breakfast with selection of cereals, fresh fruit and hot food. Plenty or space to relax in at the bar or the conservatory. Bar meals and drinks reasonably priced. Although set back from busy main road the hotel was very quiet. Within 25 minute walking distance into town through direct pathways away from busy road. Rooms comfortable and clean. The only downside was that our room was not made up the following day and when queried with receptionist we were informed they were cleaned every five days. We were only staying two nights so this was not a problem. We were also told to let reception know if anything else was needed at all. The hotel had a lovely feel to it and we enjoyed our short stay there.

This is my 2nd visit. The location suits me to visit my sister who lives in town. Breakfast suitable for vegan.

I have now stayed in 116 and 117. On my first visit the corridor outside my room stank of smoke, quite possibly someone had stood by the fire exit but not outside. On my second visit i found the 2 fire exits jarred open and customers smoking outside. Far enough away it didn’t smell but it did bother me a member of staff had said they could smoke outside these doors and prop them open to save going out the front. I detest smoke, I smelt it with my window slightly open (room was very warm!) and this is a safety issue. Please don’t tell customers they can do this again. The lighting in 117 could be a bit brighter please but cosy enough at night time. Room was very clean, mattress comfy, duvet a bit too heavy… 🤷‍♀️

My room was good and spacious, breakfast times were very acceptable, the food choices were adequate and the bed was very comfortable. All areas felt spacious but the hotel is on several split levels with no lift so that could prove difficult for people with mobility issues I guess. Access from the A14, with a Sainsbury's nearby, was very convenient.

During my stay of several days my room wasn't serviced but I kept it clean and tidy anyway! The restaurant choices were somewhat limited.

The dragonfly was easy to access from the main road. The parking is free of charge for guests. The hotel first impressions is that the outside is very clean and inviting. Lovely patio with lawned area and very relaxing. The reception is very clean and bright along with the bar and restaurant and also boasts a very nice conservatory for relaxation. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. From the receptionist to the cleaners every member of staff was very polite and cheerful. I certainly will be using the Dragonfly again without any hesitation

There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like

Clean and comfortable, had a great nights sleep. Friendly staff. I was expecting a travel lodge experience but it was much better. Restaurant and bar available, didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but we had the buffet style breakfast which was plentiful and tasty. It is close to a busy road but I didn't notice much traffic noise through the night. It was a warm night so the fan in the room was appreciated. Hairdryer, iron and board in the room.

Everything was good. It isn't close to much apart from Sainsburys but reception will give you numbers for taxi firms if you need, I used Uber.

Large, well-appointed rooms and very good bathrooms containing plenty of shelf space for wash bags etc. Very good showers. Everywhere was super clean. Cot was provided and made up ready. Hotel was quiet though the road outside might put some people off.

The member of staff on reception on arrival was efficient but obviously not interested in us as he didn't greet us or enquire about our journey etc. The hospitality tray (there was no tray) was disappointing as no decaffeinated tea or fruit tea. We didn't need biscuits but most hotels do supply some as a welcome gesture.

Clean and tidy, great location. The room was great, staff friendly and helpful, check in was straight forward, evening meal in restaurant was great, would stay again

Breakfast was a let down, "fried" eggs were stored stacked! to help yourself. Scrambled eggs required carving, bacon, although ok , could have been stored and cooked a little more, did not look appetising. If we stayed again, we would not bother with breakfast.

Nice bar area. Good variety on the menu and the food was great.

The reception area was unmanned and instead there were machines to check in. We waited quite a while before anyone saw us and came to see to our needs. After our stay, I was bombarded with calls and messages saying I had left without paying, despite payment being taken through Booking.com. Despite me telling the caller I had paid, she refused to believe it and suggested it was me at fault. Eventually she saw she had made a mistake but that experience would put me off returning, despite it’s location being perfect for when I visit family.
