Catherine and her husband are very friendly, welcoming hosts. The property is immaculately clean and tidy. The room we stayed in was spacious and very quiet with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We really enjoyed our stay at Deneview and would have no hesitation in recommending this guest house to others.

The bathroom had nowhere to store toiletries - it would be nice to have a shelf next to the basin for these.

Oh, by far and away the best breakfast we have ever had at a B&B. The host asked us for our breakfast choices when we checked in, as well as an individual time for our breakfast (which was a little unusual). However, the following morning it was obvious that she was just being prepared for a prompt service. While we had the opportunity to eat cereal/fruit and yogurt etc, our host prepared our egg options freshly, all other items we requested were already prepared for our time slot. The produce was was amazing!

The shower cubicle was really cramped, but as we were only staying for the one night, we made it work. TV reception wasn’t great, which meant we missed the athletics, but as we were in the area to visit friends we were not here to watch the tv!

Absolutely delightful stay, the owners were so friendly and helpful and the room was very very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean with everything I needed and tea bags, biscuits etc topped up all the time. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were very attentive throughout my stay. Looking forward to going back later this year.

The breakfast, cooked to order, was magnificent and a great start to the day. Decor throughout the property and in the room was of high quality and with a real eye to design. Very impressive.

Apart from the rather gloomy weather (not anyone's fault!), there was a little bit more traffic noise than I am used to. It didn't stop me sleeping in very comfortable bed though.

Everything was perfect Catherine & David were brilliant host. Nothing was to much trouble. The B&B WAS spotlessly clean and the breakfast was really tasty and plenty of it. Catherine & David went the extra mile to make us really welcome...we Would definitely stay again next time we.re in the area.. Thanks a lot S & R... Connah's Quay

Everything was spot on

Staff were very accommodating considering how late we where especially the lovely 'Cath'. Breakfast room and full breakfast were excellent, great choice available, nothing was too much trouble. Very good accommodation for CYCLISTS safe, secure garage for the bikes.

We used Dene View as it is on the route of 'The Way of Light' walk. We had a friendly welcome, a comfortable and private room, received good advice about local amenities and a lovely breakfast.

Local pub The Horse and Groom isn't worth a visit imo.

Beautiful establishment, exceptionally clean and well presented. Breakfast was excellent and room was extremely comfortable. Catherine and David were extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble .

Tiny criticism that no where to put make up and toiletries in bathroom or shampoo/soap in shower. No beans for breakfast🙁. Would have been nice to have radio or music playing in the background over breakfast as felt a little too quiet.

Catherine and David are the nicest people, so welcoming and helpful. I hope I have to work on the outskirts of Durham again. I wouldn't hesitate to return. The bed was comfy, room warm, water hot, and tea/coffee-making in the room was appreciated. I had just what I wanted for breakfast too.

I can't suggest anything could be better.
