Neil was an absolutely lovely host. His place was beautifully presented and homely at the same time. The breakfasts were great and he made us feel very relaxed and welcome. Everything worked well, the room was really clean and tidy, with lots of nice little touches. The bed was comfy and the shower worked well. The place is in a good location - just a few minutes' walk to the pier. Parking, finding the property and finding our way around were all super simple.

Not everyone will want to be in a more suburban locality, and the bathroom might be a bit cramped for some, but neither of these things were a problem for us.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this charming Bed & Breakfast. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, served piping hot, and with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The host went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, offering helpful local tips and making great conversation. The location was ideal, to explore nearby attractions and villages. I can’t recommend this B&B highly enough for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in the UK.

Not knowing the area, we arrived 3 hours early. We knocked on the door to let Neil know we were here and would have a walk around until the correct time of 3pm. He just invited us in and made us feel very welcome. I know an early check in is not always possible, but this definitely gave us a welcoming vibe. Our twin room had everything we could possibly need, including a fridge. It was spotlessly clean, with attractive accessories. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I particularly liked the home made plum jam.

We were treated as individuals. Arrival timing and special breakfast needs were easily met. It was a joy to chat with Howard in the morning. The room was very comfortable and we appreciated the quiet location. We liked having our own entrance to the property. It was both safe and secure. We had a very relaxed 2 night stay and will think of another occasion when we can return.

Great location for Deal in a quiet close. Comfortable accommodation in the house extension with everything we needed. Our host was delightful - excellent company during breakfast, very friendly with plenty of advice and tips about places to visit and to eat. Breakfasts offered were excellent - loved the homemade jams and marmalade too. Made our stay very enjoyable.

Nothing not to like.

Lovely ground floor room with it's own entrance. Convenient self-check in with excellent instructions and detailed communications with host Neil throughout. Peaceful location in quiet residential area with a parking space in the driveway. A stone's throw from the seafront and town centre with several eateries. i-Deal ( ; - ) to explore the local sites & within easy reach of the ferry port.

Perhaps a HEATED towel rail would be useful. The offer of fresh milk for coffee and tea was appreciated but a vessel with a wider neck would be easier to keep clean.

The cleanliness, the comfort, the welcome, the breakfast, the warmth of the hosts. Everything was first class and we will definitely be staying there again. Whilst we only stayed for 1 x night no this occasion, we would highly recommend Jonan House as a great place to stay, if you wish to explore Deal and the surrounding areas. A short walk to the beach. There is nothing more the hosts could have done to have made our overnight stay either more enjoyable or more welcoming. Thank you both very much.

The loction of Jonan house is perfect - about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Deal with shops, restaurants and the beach. The cooked breakfast was an added bonus - this also gave us the opportunity to chat to Neil. The home made marmalade was excellent. The room had everything we needed.

The room and bathroom were spotless and had extras that we didn’t expect. Neil who was an amazing host, would ask what we wanted for breakfast and it was cooked fresh and to a high standard. The location was very good and a short walk to the shops and beach. We had a lovely stay and will hope to stay again when we are next visiting Kent.

Martyn is a wonderful chef, home cooked breakfast, fabulous coffee and home made jam and marmalade. Neal made us feel very welcome when we arrived and we soon settled in. The location is good, just a short stroll in to Deal. The bedroom and bathroom are well appointed, it's comfortable and the house is in a quiet area. We didn't really want to come home but that's when you know everything has been perfect.
