Beautiful Sea View of Deal Pear. Excellent location, close to all restaurants, pubs, cafe, shops, town centre, train station and right at the sea front. Orla is very helpful, a wonderful host. Was welcome by Tim and another man that helped us with our suitcases up the stairs. Great communication all through with Cloe, Orla and Tim. Room & bathroom very clean. Well equipped with Fridge, Microwave, Mugs, plates, bowls, cutleries, Kettle, Coffee machine, bottle water etc. Towels, Body Wash and Hand Wash, toilet rolls available in bathroom. Room cleaned everyday. Lovely relaxing stay. Our top 3 favourites restaurants are 81 Beach Street, The Lane and The Court Yard. Thank you Orla and Team for a lovely relaxing stay. A quirky hotel spread across three old buildings. Sea and pier just across road, excellent view. Room well equipped and clean. Microwave, fridge and bowls, plates and cutlery in room as well as coffee machine. No full time reception so you get sent digital code to get in. No parking but public car park close by. About £12 for 24 hrs although not certain about parking for longer.

Full window to floor, felt a bit exposed as although on 1st floor heads of people walking on pavement close to hotel could be seen. Maybe some net curtains would have helped. But only a minor point.

Very comfortable beds, facilities very good indeed. Nice decor. Excellent location right on the beach. There is no breakfast, but there is a microwave and fridge, plus all the plates and cutlery you need.

The shower wasn't much more than a trickle and hot water took ages to flow through. So long, I thought I was going to need to have a cold shower! There are a lot of very steep stairs! The price for the Lighthouse Suite went up from £148 to £160, and then £179 while I was in the process of booking it. The final price paid was not good value for money.

The Sunrise Suite was great for a family and for our dogs. Very comfortable and with plenty of space. The refurb is lovely. I have stayed at the Clarendon before and it is my go-to hotel in Deal. The location is perfect, overlooking the pier and seafront, and with the car park behind. It’s clean and stylish. The staff are lovely

Breakfast isn’t an option, but it’s really easy to get breakfast in one of the many cafes etc nearby, so it really isn’t a problem. There is an Indian restaurant attached, which we didn’t go to this time, but we have been to it before and had a nice meal.

The location is superb overlooking the sea and the pier nearby. The room itself was very bright and had fabulous views from the first floor windows.

Unfortunately the building is shared with an Indian restaurant at the rear. At times the smell of the fare from the restaurant would permeate in to the hotel. I love a curry but don’t always want to smell it in my hotel entrance area or in the room. The entrance system using codes and having no reception area was a little impersonal. It felt more like rented suites than a hotel. Bed was surprisingly uncomfortable due to a combination of mattress and really uncomfortable pillows!

The usual great stay. Staff friendly location very local. Great pubs and restaurants with lots of historical castles all within walking distance or not far to drive.

Not alot really even the no parking space was not a problem. We've been in the winter and the summer and we've always had a parking space across the road for a tenner a day and the no breakfast available is no problem because there are plenty of places to get breakfast from. One of which is at the end of the pier just across the road.

Hotel is in nice location and opposite the beach. Nice and quiet and has everything you need Nice shampoo and soap in room, nice towels and beds are comfy. Room is large and also key code to get in doors which is handy

Not disability friendly. I booked last minute and asked if there was disabled parking and told yes behind. However this is 3 hours max stay so not good for overnight and was not told about this. Would have been nice if staff had more knowledge but my fault for not checking.

The Clarendon Hotel is a hidden gem! At first, it seems unassuming as you step in and make your way upstairs. But once you enter the room, it’s breathtakingly beautiful. The decor is thoughtfully designed, combining comfort and elegance, with everything you need and even a bit more. The furnishings are stunning, and the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The views overlooking the sea are brilliant, adding a relaxing, scenic touch to the experience. Perfectly located with numerous breakfast options nearby, the Clarendon is an amazing choice for a coastal stay.

Excellent Location right by the sea and amenities, Comfortable beds and clean room. Loved the free tea ,milk coffee and water but could of done with more than 1 toilet roll for 4 people for 2 nights and a toaster in the kitchenette might have been a nice touch so we could have made breakfast here if we wanted to. Overall though Excellent stay and loved the spacious room and having a sea view! Loved that we could bring our dog too! Awesome location!

We stayed at The Clarendon for a family wedding in Deal. We had 3 suites and a double room. All were immaculate and very tastefully furnished. Check in and registration was very easily done online and a security code is issued to get into the hotel and room, with children and babies that is a great feature. I contacted the hotel several times to make sure there were cots in 2 of the suites and a pull out bed in one and they responded very quickly and reassured everything was ready> Hotel is in a brilliant location, right opposite the beach and near the wonderful Deal Pier. The Clarendon is highly recommended and we will be using it again when we need to stay in Deal.

As in any busy seaside town, parking can be a challenge at times. But there is a fairly big car park right behind the hotel and although it states that there is a max of 3 hours parking, you can buy another 3 hours straight after if needed.
