Beautiful Sea View of Deal Pear. Excellent location, close to all restaurants, pubs, cafe, shops, town centre, train station and right at the sea front. Orla is very helpful, a wonderful host. Was welcome by Tim and another man that helped us with our suitcases up the stairs. Great communication all through with Cloe, Orla and Tim. Room & bathroom very clean. Well equipped with Fridge, Microwave, Mugs, plates, bowls, cutleries, Kettle, Coffee machine, bottle water etc. Towels, Body Wash and Hand Wash, toilet rolls available in bathroom. Room cleaned everyday. Lovely relaxing stay. Our top 3 favourites restaurants are 81 Beach Street, The Lane and The Court Yard. Thank you Orla and Team for a lovely relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be back.

The Sunrise Suite was great for a family and for our dogs. Very comfortable and with plenty of space. The refurb is lovely. I have stayed at the Clarendon before and it is my go-to hotel in Deal. The location is perfect, overlooking the pier and seafront, and with the car park behind. It’s clean and stylish. The staff are lovely

Breakfast isn’t an option, but it’s really easy to get breakfast in one of the many cafes etc nearby, so it really isn’t a problem. There is an Indian restaurant attached, which we didn’t go to this time, but we have been to it before and had a nice meal.

The location is superb overlooking the sea and the pier nearby. The room itself was very bright and had fabulous views from the first floor windows.

Unfortunately the building is shared with an Indian restaurant at the rear. At times the smell of the fare from the restaurant would permeate in to the hotel. I love a curry but don’t always want to smell it in my hotel entrance area or in the room. The entrance system using codes and having no reception area was a little impersonal. It felt more like rented suites than a hotel. Bed was surprisingly uncomfortable due to a combination of mattress and really uncomfortable pillows!

The Clarendon Hotel is a hidden gem! At first, it seems unassuming as you step in and make your way upstairs. But once you enter the room, it’s breathtakingly beautiful. The decor is thoughtfully designed, combining comfort and elegance, with everything you need and even a bit more. The furnishings are stunning, and the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The views overlooking the sea are brilliant, adding a relaxing, scenic touch to the experience. Perfectly located with numerous breakfast options nearby, the Clarendon is an amazing choice for a coastal stay.

Excellent Location right by the sea and amenities, Comfortable beds and clean room. Loved the free tea ,milk coffee and water but could of done with more than 1 toilet roll for 4 people for 2 nights and a toaster in the kitchenette might have been a nice touch so we could have made breakfast here if we wanted to. Overall though Excellent stay and loved the spacious room and having a sea view! Loved that we could bring our dog too! Awesome location!

We stayed at The Clarendon for a family wedding in Deal. We had 3 suites and a double room. All were immaculate and very tastefully furnished. Check in and registration was very easily done online and a security code is issued to get into the hotel and room, with children and babies that is a great feature. I contacted the hotel several times to make sure there were cots in 2 of the suites and a pull out bed in one and they responded very quickly and reassured everything was ready> Hotel is in a brilliant location, right opposite the beach and near the wonderful Deal Pier. The Clarendon is highly recommended and we will be using it again when we need to stay in Deal.

As in any busy seaside town, parking can be a challenge at times. But there is a fairly big car park right behind the hotel and although it states that there is a max of 3 hours parking, you can buy another 3 hours straight after if needed.

Everything. Another great stay at the hotel. This time we were in one of the outside self contained rooms the smugglers den. Which was great for the two of us. Double bed big bath and shower. Small dinner table for fish and chips or a takeaway from the curry house nextdoor and the ice cream parlor. Across the road is the sea and the Pier. We had one day at the deal castle another day walking to walmer castle about two miles up the road good walk. Tip is keep walking towards walmer with the sea on your left until you get to the second carpark not the first one. That way you don't run the gauntlet of the road with no pavement until you get to the castle entrance. Next day at dover white cliffs and the castle.

Been here twice now once in the autumn and once in the summer can't think of anything bad. Place is great people and pubs restaurants and things to do. All brilliant. Sorry

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and represents very good value for money. It is certainly a 'no frills' experience. The location is excellent, right by the sea, close to the pier and several restaurants and bars where you can have a good breakfast or dinner. Entry to the hotel is by a key pad, the number of which was emailed or texted to me. If youre looking for luxury, this is not the place for you, but if you just want somewhere to sleep, it's everything you need!

No complaints at all!

The hotel is perfectly situated on the sea front with fabulous views and only 6 minute walk from the train station. We stayed in the two bedroom Lighthouse Suite which was a very good size. Staff were friendly and allowed us into our room early as they had finished cleaning it. Check in/out was all remote so seamless.

The facilities/quality of the room was rather basic, however this is reflected in the price so I don’t consider this disappointing. The curtains were all too small however and didn’t cover the window so we had to put towels on the curtain pole as well to make it darker for our child. The armchairs in the lounge were dreadfully uncomfortable.

Excellent communication right from the time the trip was booked to the checkout. The staff were as lovely in person as they were on email. The room was spacious and quaint (with a ledge by the bay windows, overlooking the beach), well-maintained, and the amenities were top-notch (a Nespresso machine in the room, bottled water). Check In and checkout was easy because it was all done online and via a key code. A special shout-out to Orla (I hope I got the spelling right) for always greeting us with a smile and some lovely conversations.

Nothing major but the flush in the WC was fiddly and took some getting used to.
