Pleasant room, nicely renovated so that it felt more like a hotel room than traditional pub accommodation. Nice ensuite bathroom with a good shower. Staff were nice, and breakfast was excellent: freshly cooked full English breakfast included in the price (and other options on the menu to order too). So much better than a buffet. Parking was also convenient - although there is no parking attached to the pub itself, there is a public carpark just across the street for about £5 a night or so. We ended up using the Sainsbury's carpark using the JustPark app for a similar price, and it was also very close and convenient, and felt safe - we had a car full of stuff and left it overnight with no problems.

The bed felt small for two people, so we didn't have the most restful night. It was also quite noisy in the room because of live music and people in the pub downstairs, but to be fair they did warn us about that in advance, and it's to be expected when staying above a lively pub on a Saturday night.

Great location for exploring Deal. We parked in the Sainsbury’s car park which is just over the road from the property (not the train station as it was a small car park and full) and we downloaded the horizon app as suggested on the plaque on wall near the entrance and paid only £4.25 for 24 hours! On arrival at accommodation we were quickly shown to our room and a detailed explanation was given on how to access our room after the pub had locked up for night. We had no problem with noise as travelled on a Monday night. Good room facilities. Iron and ironing board, a fan, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent and included on our room rate. Toast, baked beans, 2 hash browns, 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, 2 tomatoes, and mushrooms. Only slight issue no decaf tea or coffee is available which my husband has to have due to health issues, however we were offered a large orange juice instead which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. The little extras in the room, like shortbread biscuits, seperate coffee machine, good quality toiletries (including moisturiser) Breakfast was included in the price and was outstanding. I most definitely will stay again. Great location. A couple of minutes from the train station and the beach is about the same distance in the other direction.

A fan in the room would have been great as it was a bit too hot in there... We are currently in the midst of a uk heatwave plus i think it was the hottest day of the year yesterday..

I liked everything. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. They gave me late check out with no issues and a free breakfast. The room was by a road so too noisy to fully open windows (not sure if it was even possible to fully open the windows) but a fan was provided so it was no problem to stay cool on a hot night. There was even one slimmish pillow amongst the four pillows which was great as I struggle to sleep with my head on the standard fat pillows you get in hotels and b and bs!

Were advised when booking could be noisy on Sat nights due to live music but this was minimal. We were also advised the room was small but while small it was well appointed and had a coffee machine rather than just a kettle. The room and all area were clean and staff were friendly. While about half what we normally would pay, other than room size, it exceeded expectations on all counts. Would stay again if wanting accommodation in the area and would recommend without hesitation.

It was clean (ignoring the carpet) and comfy. Staff helpful and breakfast nice. Well situated and in deal centre. 5 mins walk to the beach and a stones throw from the railway station.

The room could do with a carpet vax's. The road noise, techno beat from the music and the bloke snoring next door were a bit noisy, but they explain that and you are provided earplugs. There were no pillow protectors and I'm unsure of a mattress protector. The soap dispenser was hanging by one screw on the wall and the carpet could do with a good wash. I wouldn't use this as more than a one or two night base as the room I'd quite small.

That it suited me personally with regards to what I expected. The added bonus was getting breakfast included. Plus I was able to leave my luggage and collect later in the day. That is fabulous service in my opinion. Brilliant price as well for this accommodation. I will add that I am not easily pleased.

Nothing not to like Though just a word of caution this accommodation is over a pub and next to a main road. Did that bother me at all during my stay. Not at all. It was hardly noticeable - just a distant hum through the double glazing. They even provide ear plugs for guests comfort.

A shockingly nice, spacious room! Very clean and contemporary with a fan available in the room. Plus the pub downstairs has great food, including the breakfast. All the staff were lovely. Yes, it's noisy at night from the DJ there on weekends, but they're very upfront about so you know to expect it - and they provided earplugs in the room :) though the sound didn't bother me at all and I was able to go to bed. Better yet, join the fun downstairs! Essentially across the street from the train and barely 2-3 blocks from the shoreline. Will definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay here Monday- Friday whilst working in the area, all of the staff were very polite and helpful, quick check in and taken upto our room, we came down for food in the bar the first evening... quick service and great meal. Many screens showing different sports, pool table which can be paid via card aswell as cash. Our final evening we spent with the head chef for a few drinks and pool and got to know a bit about the area. Will definitely use this place when working in the area again

Very helpful when checking in, we were shown to our room and he told us all about late night access and breakfast in the morning plus how to get help anytime we needed it. Lovely clean,comfortable room,nice shower too, quite quiet considering we were on a main road. Nice atmosphere in the pub during the evening and a great breakfast in the morning, listening to him serving other guests they seem to accommodate every need, we certainly felt very well looked after and welcome, we'll certainly be coming back again.

Leaving, we wish we could've stayed longer but had to come home for family commitments.
