Amazing bungalow for disability. My friend and I have had the pleasure of staying in the same bungalow. I am in a wheelchair and have incurable cancer and all I cancer it’s a fantastic place to stay . The wet room is huge and brilliant for a wheelchair user. A double bed and a large single, and both are extremely comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and what I love is there’s a mini fridge too. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Staff are very attentive and the cleaners do pleasant, they couldn’t do enough for us. Restaurant is fantastic with all types of food, even for the fussiest eaters. We had the most amazing 4 days stay, weather was so hot and we were lucky enough to have an outdoor table and benches with an umbrella, so I could sit in the shade in my wheelchair. It was exceptionally hot last weekend , I wish I had taken a fan, I had a hand held one, but it was boiling in the room, even when the door and all windows were open. Can’t complain about that though as it’s far better than wind and rain! Oh and I forgot to say, disabled parking just out side our door. Brilliant!

There is nothing not to like!

This is a very pleasant hotel which we booked for its convenient location close to an event we attended. The room was clean and room furnishings looked fresh and were not tired. Breakfast was good and there were plenty of options for cooked breakfast (including vegetarian/vegan), as well as cereal. The room was reasonably quiet, but sound does travel between rooms, so wear earplugs if you're sound sensitive.

The hotel hasn't got much character and the decor lacks imagination, but it is great if you want a decent clean place to put your head down at night, and have a filling breakfast.

The property catered for our needs as a group of 10 people inc children as a wedding party. We were provided with a large family rooms which provided plenty floor space to cater for a 4 month old to play. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us overcome any queries we had. The food in the restaurant had a good choice of food to cater for everyone’s taste. One of our party were gluten free and again it was no problem regarding food

We felt the rooms were too hot. We tried to reduce the temp but failed miserably and should have asked for assistance.

It was a return visit; the room was very accessible with parking directly outside. I arrived very late (around midnight) as I was lost- ended up driving up and down the motorway (beware- you start to join it but leave straight away!) as Google maps decided to give me confusing information but the management stayed open till I arrived and guided me to me room, which was much appreciated as I was quite ill.

Unfortunately I was quite ill- recently out of hospital; I wasn't fit enough for breakfast the first morning but managed to take it on my departure morning- very satisfactory so not a negative comment on the property.

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding at Thorpe gardens. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fab, full English, veggie options, yoghurts, cereals, fruit etc. We had an evening meal when we arrived which was really delicious and huge portions! Very good value for money and we will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

The room was nice, the beds were comfy, the staff were lovely. The breakfast was nice. It was perfectly located for what we needed as we were attending a wedding in Ashby de la Zouch and the reception at Norton Fields Barn.

The room was quite warm for my liking, so I had to open the window so it was then a bit noisey. There wasn't any aircon and there wasn't a fan to use, perhaps i could of asked for a fan but i didnt. Usually however, this isn't an issue for the UK aside for maybe a few weeks of the year if we're lucky.

Location is amazing for Twycross zoo. Staff really friendly and helpful. Spacious, bright, and clean room. Plenty of storage space. Good shower. Food excellent. Breakfast fantastic with lots of choice. Lovely outdoor area with play park for children. Ample car parking. Difficult to criticise as everything was so good.

Food delivery truck quite noisy in the morning. Fortunately, we were up.

Excellent food as usual in the restaurant, and also at breakfast. All food prepared fresh with adjustments available, huge portions at a very good price. Servers checked for allergies. Wifi excellent as always, staff friendly and professional. Room has had refurb (Room 10), and the TV upgrade and USB sockets were a good upgrade.

The shaver socket on the light has been fitted too close to the mirror, so it can't be used. 2nd room I have found this in. would be nice if the hotel was pet friendly in at least some rooms, as we would be tempted to come to area for a few days.

An amazing place to stay for someone with disabilities. Room was huge, big enough for my wheelchair to move around comfortably. The wet room again was huge and meticulously clean. I went with a friend and the room had a double and a large single bed with loads of space in between. The cupboard space there was fantastic, loads of drawers. A huge wardrobe with mirror on sliding doors. Obviously I couldn't reach the top hangers but there was a low rail too, great for me. The dressing table again was huge. Hairdryer in the drawer and plenty of space to put make up etc. Lovely TV on the wall, with all the apps which you could use if you wanted to put your home details in and delete when leaving. Staff were so helpful and courteous and food to your door if I wasn't able to get to the restaurant at no extra cost. I could go on about how much I loved this place, but I'd end up boring you. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely return. Thank you all for your hospitality!

I would of liked a toilet brush in bathroom, or the rubber ones they now have. But still not complaining!

The restaurant produces superb food, amazingly fast, plenty of options, and always piping hot and cooked to perfection. The breakfast fried eggs are the best I have ever had in any hotel.. and the chef is fully prepared to go off menu and satisfy my standard request of "Can you do just 3 rashers of bacon and 2 fried eggs please?".. They could survive as just a superb all day restaurant. Being able to stopover is a bonus...

As a Safety Manager, I have to note that 2 fire alarms were cancelled on my last visit without any explanation to residential guests - This was related to sizzling items on the menu apparently, and the restaurant guests may have been informed, however I was working in my room and had no contact to explain either alert. I had to go to Reception to check there was no actual fire.
