Very helpful & friendly team. Rooms were very clean & comfortable and well stocked with everything you would need. Breakfast very delicious, loved that there was more healthy fresh options available too and unlimited coffee. Great location for those going to Download festival, about 20mins drive, the hotel was very sweet in leaving out water & shoe covers for those returning from the festival late at night.

Was quite confusing to get back at night time because university closes some of the roads after 10pm, but managed to work it out in the end. Not the hotel's fault though

Room & bathroom were quite spacious, clean & comfortable. Very nice staff, very helpful. Location is good if you are in Loughborough to visit the University. The hotel is near the hockey pit (so wherever you want to go you have to go around it). Good point: they offer you also the possibility to have your lunch or dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Don't know how good it is. A Coop is nearby (close to the fountain). More lunch options in town's center. We had a delicious meal at a good price at Norah Cafe, but from the hotel to the center of the town is like 25-30 minutes healthy walking :). A lot to walk through the campus also. There are some student buses, but have no idea where you can take them to.

Breakfast was not the best we ever had. English breakfast mainly. Eggs were kind of uncooked and almost impossible to eat, they had no vegetables. In their defense, although: we spotted in the second morning a little bit of mixed salad and some avocado. I think they finished early a day before.

The hotel is set up for athletes and sports persons as it is on campus at the university, Not massive selection for evening meal but places to eat close by if nothing takes your fancy, BUT plenty of choice at breakfast, healthy and traditional options available, the great thing about being on campus is more time to eat breakfast and check out before needing to drive to the destination (we were going to the athletics track) we could just put our things in the car and walk to the track. Staff are really friendly and helpful And there is free car parking available for guests unlike some hotels I have been to A big plus for me is that the room we had, has windows that look straight down the home straight on the athletics track.

bed was quite narrow and hard, and pillows also quite firm, but that is just personal preference

Easy parking close to hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room had a lovely view over the athletics track. It's a 10 minute walk to the sports hall where I was visiting and there is a coop and food options within walking distance. Room was spacious and WiFi very quick. It had everything I could've needed including towels, hair dryer, USB plugs.

The bed was a little firm for my liking and the breakkie was nice but very basic. Aside from this I can't complain.

Good location to visit university. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The reception staff was friendly and welcoming.

The drinking mug in the room was dirty with coffee stains around the mouth. It automatically made me question the overall cleanliness of the room. Found lots of dust over the metal railings in the bathroom (we had an accessible room). The table lamp was not working but it was not a big issue for us so we didn’t complain. I believe the mini fridge was also not working. It didn’t get cold despite the switch was on.

I was dropping my son to start his first year at University and we flew over from Ireland. A delayed flight meant we didn't get to the hotel until after midnight but staff replied to queries posted on Booking.com and the receptionist was expecting us. Great location on campus. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with enough plugs to satisfy any teenager and sufficient heating and ventilation.

Can't think of anything to improve - the staff were lovely, and check-in and out were super efficient, but left at 7 am the next morning so was a super short stay!!

Helpful friendly receptionist clean pleasant room with comfortable bed. Ideal location for attending granddaughters graduation. All areas of the university grounds were clean and free from litter.

Unfortunately I found the breakfast poor and lukewarm which was disappointing. Poached egg was. hard, bacon hard and not warm enough,coffee machine gave very poor weak coffee , The dining area was very clean and the staff were pleasant but the quality of the breakfast was not ideal .

Perfect location for my son's interview at the university. Quiet location, although the restaurant was not open the incredibly helpful and patient manager guided us to a restaurant where we had an excellent dinner.

Water pressure in the shower wasn't great and the water wasn't very hot, but serviceable. The site is very busy at night for sports use so only a couple of parking spaces available but there were more carparks on site that we could have used.

We thought it was a normal hotel with restaurant and maybe a bar but the restaurant was a cafe for students and there were no other facilities. Unfortunately it was very basic

It was a pleasure to stay at Elite Sport Centre and Hotel in Loughborough which we used to travel to/from Download 2023. The hotel is just a 10 minute local bus journey to city centre (bus 127) and from there we used Sky Link to take us to/from Download at Donnington Park. This shuttle can also be used 24 hours every day to/from East Midland Airport.

I have nothing to add that could have make this a better experience, everything was to our satisfaction. Room, Staff, Location was all to my expectation.
