Very friendly & accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay at the Greyhound. They allowed early check which was super helpful giving the wedding we had to attend at Hever castle. Great location! We actually missed the breakfast time slot but was kindly offered breakfast after checking out. Unfortunately we had to drive home so politely declined but the offer was appreciated! The place is quirky & very clean. Parking on site was also a bonus. Thank you. We would stay again & would highly recommend to others :)

Booking.com allow more stars in your app just for The Greyhound! The adventure began, as all good adventures do, with a weary trudge back from the historical marvels of Hever Castle. Our legs felt like they had personally excavated the moat, but our spirits were buoyed by the prospect of a restful retreat at The Greyhound. Upon arrival, the warmth of the welcome almost made us forget the miles logged on our pedometers. It was as if they’d been forewarned by the castle itself: "Treat these travelers well; they’ve seen enough armor for one day." Our evening commenced on a balcony, so charmingly compact you could almost believe it was designed for hobbits rather than weary tourists. There, under the benevolent gaze of the sun, we sipped on Prosecco with the kind of contentment that can only come from knowing you have nowhere else to be. It was a moment so serene, I half expected a choir of woodland creatures to start serenading us. Dinner was an affair to remember, each dish presented with the kind of flair that suggested the chef might moonlight as an artist. The meal was exquisite, a symphony of flavors so harmonious, one wondered if the kitchen was secretly harboring a Michelin-starred maestro. It was the kind of meal that didn’t just satiate your hunger but seemed to whisper, "Yes, you’ve made some excellent life choices." As we departed the next morning, after a night of slumber so profound it felt as if we had been wrapped in clouds, the promise to return was not merely a polite gesture but a vow. A return to The Greyhound wouldn’t just be considered; it would be inevitable. For where else could one find such a perfect blend of hospitality, gastronomy, and the chance to pretend, if only for a moment, that one was entirely at peace with the world?

We met with the warmest of welcomes. Friendly hosts, gorgeous room and view, and a truly memorable evening meal (you choose from the menu a day or two before which makes sense if you're aiming to minimise food waste). This is a small boutique hotel which really prides itself on ensuring guests have a wonderful time and are well looked after. We did and we were! So peaceful. Will certainly be returning now we've found this gem. Thank you for making the start of our Kent road trip so enjoyable.
Nothing. Couldn't fault it.

A lovely friendly welcome; pleasant room; good cooked breakfast. VERY convenient location for visiting Hever castle.
We were only staying for one night, so didn't bother to request anything extra - but supplied in the room were plenty of coffee sachets, though only 3 tea bags - and odd number for two guests. Also, two medium sized towels, but only one bath size - again, for two guests! And a small dish of marmalade on the breakfast table would have been appreciated.

Rooms lovely. Location peaceful. Bed very comfortable. Food excellent. Hosts couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful.
We were very happy but I could well imagine less agile people may find the beds a little bit low(although they are wonderfully comfortable) Evening meal rather expensive but quality and service superb and it was worth the money to be able to relax and enjoy a lovely meal and drink without driving or getting taxis. (So not negatives to us but something to be aware of.)

The location was ideal from the train station walking or by car, Hever castle is a short walk away, The Greyhound Inn has a cozy feel about it, the room was lovely and the lay out of the inn was set on lovely grounds. So nice to see some of the wild life in the field opposite. The staff were friendly, very welcoming and accommodating, very clean and beautifully decorated all around the inn and room. The food is very nice, to a good selection and high quality. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go there again.
There was nothing we didn’t like about it.

Booked as we were attending a wedding at Hoath House. The Greyhound was really close which meant travel to and from the wedding was very quick. We were able to check in at 12.30 which gave us time to settle and change before leaving. The staff/owners were super friendly and the room far exceeded my expectations. We had a balcony room with a lovely view of the garden. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Good choice of breakfast. The owners also gave us details of taxi companies which was really helpful.
Nothing. It was perfect for what we needed

Good sized comfortable room with en suite. Breakfast was very good and our host was friendly and helpful. Private car parking.
We misunderstood the accommodation and booked thinking it was a pub with a bar and a restaurant. It is actually rooms with a restaurant for guests only and which only opens when sufficient guests book. Alternative places to eat are available in nearby Edenbridge but are a car ride away as the roads are very narrow. Excellent location for visiting Hever Castle.

Friendly and spotlessly clean, well decorated and comfortable rooms. Excellent full breakfast but other lovely options available, salmon and eggs, omelette, toast and preserves etc. Very welcoming and easy check in. Accessible ground floor rooms have access to delightful patio area. Highly recommended *****
Maybe shower tray could have non slip properties and a shower grab rail for safety and security.
