Lovely old style seaside hotel. Great staff. Lovely breakfast. Have eaten in the bar many times and cannot fault it.

Only negative is creaky floorboards on the 1st floor. But to be honest, only to be expected for an old building

We were attending Seaton Carew Soul Alldayer and the venue was just around the corner from the Hotel. The breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was on the sea front and we had a room with sea views, l had asked for a family room, and what we got was a two floor suite, the breakfast was very good value for money, the views from the bedroom were fabulous.

Some of the fried food i.e. chips were cooked in old fat but otherwise l do not have any complaints

Cannot praise Carl enough for helping resolve an issue, created by myself. All other staff very friendly too. Really spacious bar/restaurant, great choice of drinks and food. Good portions of food and well cooked. Big room, just beware if you are in Room 8, it’s above the kitchen and you will hear the extraction fan.

The bed was fantastically comfortable The hotel was opposite a lovely party of the beach. Plenty of parking places

Only one set of towels in the room. No one had told the night staff that we would be arriving late.So it took us a while toactually getinto the hotel

The location was excellent, the hotel itself is stunning. The suite was lovely and clean.

The only thing what let it down for me personally was the shower, it wasn’t a normal ‘up at the top’ shower but that was obviously because of the sloped roof and beams but it just made a bit of uncomfortable shower. But I would definitely return!

I like the hotel, location , that’s why if I need one in that area of the North East and has rooms I rebook . Food is excellent, brilliant chips 👌

Better choice of real ale too much “blonde “ stuff .

I am originally from Hartlepool that has worked overseas all my life, it is always nice to come home and I class the Marine Hotel as part of my home when I am visiting, the staff (all the staff) are always happy and helpful and make our stay as good as possible

Nothing the only problem was that we had to leave to return to Abu Dhabi

Beautiful old 1900's hotel. Our room was huge, overlooking the seafront. Plenty of wardrobe space etc. Very comfy bed. Loved it! Decent beer too 🙂 Perfect for our short visit.

Breakfast choice could be a little better for those that don't want a cooked breakfast. But that's personal preference.
