The room and the size of the bathroom is awesome and feels like you have your own flat. The view from the front windows are great with an excellent sea view and chairs that are placed so you can spend time looking out if you want to. Glad I found this hotel and will use everytime i come to stay in the area.

The room is large so can be a little cooler even during warmer times, staff are happy to oblige with the heating. The walk in shower would benefit from a mat to prevent you from slipping when it is wet. The TV did struggle with wifi signal occasionally but not enough to make the program unwatchable.

We requested a room on the ground floor and were given 29, on the ground floor. We had a very comfortable sleep and it was great to have parking. We dined there for dinner and the roast buffet was pretty good, although we were there in the large dining room (& breakfast area) pretty much by ourselves and it felt a bit to quiet. The gentleman server both at dinner and breakfast was great. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy.

The only thing I would have liked is a sheer curtain on the bathroom window, even though it had frosted glass.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful and hot. Room was a good size. Very close to the beach and for bus links to other places such as Saltburn, Whitby etc.

The floor we were on was a little noisy at night. Banging doors at 1:35am two/three nights on the trot and also around 6am. One night some sort of buzzer/alarm was going through the night which could be heard from our room. On the whole though we were pleased with our stay.

Excellent and friendly staff, wonderful location (actually on the promenade), large comfortable room with really nice bathroom facilities, excellent (cooked to order) breakfast and enjoyable evening meals. Within easy walking distance of Redcar shopping centre. Really very little to complain about.

Personally, as I had to do quite a lot of paperwork whilst I was there, I would have liked the availability of a reading light, or possibly a more powerful bulb in the ceiling light. (...but to be fair we stayed for a pretty dark and miserable couple of days in February)

In the new annexe next door, so new heating wasn't on! Rooms were very cold but eventually the controls on the landing were altered. But in the morning we still had no heating. Hopefully will get sorted as a fab view of the sea. Very modern decor snd lovely staff. Kettle in the room with teas,coffee and water. Toiletries provided and tissues. No safe or fridge in the room. Plenty of storage. Just a hanging rail for clothes. Waiter in restaurant said no bottled water available but later found some in the bar. No soya milk available, so bring your own. Typical pub grub available. Plenty of free parking next to hotel. Would recommend a place to stay.

Central heating not on. No soya or alternative milks. Should cater for lactose intolerance guests.

Great staff who went the extra mile to be helpful with nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent, breakfast lovely and hot. Tea, coffee & hot chocolate in the room was nice. Reasonably priced for food and drink. Parts of the hotel including our room, which was huge and had a sofa, chairs and table sited to make the best of the sea view, has been recently refurbished.

We asked to change rooms as the initial one had a smell of sewage - obviously a problem the hotel had as it is quite an old building but they were trying to address so hopefully won’t be an issue in the future. It was quite noisy and guests in rooms above us were up around 5am that had no consideration for others, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

Absolutely love the hotel it was lovely and clean. The size of the room was Absolutely amazing especially having a 1 year old who loves running. Breakfast was amazing as well love it was buffet style. The bed was the most comfortable one I've slept in actually manage to sleep all night which I never normally do.

Only thing I would say is maybe a few more packs of biscuits in the room as there was only one each and its nice to have a few with each brew u have.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Park Hotel. We knew that they were carrying out work however we arrived as the workmen were packing up for the weekend. The hotel is undergoing a transformation; we had a room with triple aspect windows looking out to sea. Absolutely gorgeous views and the room was so light and airy. The bed was new and very comfortable, sheets beautifully laundered and the bathroom had been tastefully up-dated. The room and the reception areas are still in need of up-dating but did not detract from our overall experience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was an excellent wide ranging buffet. The Hotel is on the seafront which has a promenade and is within easy walking distance from the town of Redcar. The private car park is at the back of the hotel and we felt our car was safe. Redcar appears to be at the start of some major transformations and it is good that the Park Hotel seems to be investing in a brighter future. We wish the hotel and town all the best.

The hot water supply needs to keep track with the lovely bathrooms. You have to leave the shower run for quite awhile until you get hot water however when it does come the shower is excellent.

The sea view from the room was fantastic. There was a bay window with two chairs that we could sit and have coffee looking out to sea. We had dinner in the hotel it was lovely. All staff were welcoming and polite.

Buffet breakfast was cold. Unfortunately, that happens depending on when you go for breakfast with a buffet. it's all about timing. The shower could do with a shower mat as it was a bit slippy when wet.

Fantastic breakfast with plenty of choice, staff were lovely and very helpful. We booked to eat in the carvery, which was excellent value for money with plenty of choice for everyone. The staff again were very helpful. Our room was spacious with a brand new bathroom. The bedroom itself was clean and tidy and is obviously waiting for a revamp to match the bathroom, but was very comfortable. The housekeeping lady was very helpful too. It is our 2nd visit and we would definitely return!

The bedroom was in need of a revamp, but we had a brand new bathroom and the rest of the hotel is currently being renovated, so I'm sure it's on the list!!
