Staff very accommodating, we had a one year old with us and they all made a big fuss over her which she loved! They also helped us carry her travel cot up to the room which was a massive help. And reserved our parking space outside so we could go out and come back with ease knowing we had a space to come back to,which made it a lot easier for us to be able to go out and about with our baby without stressing over where we was going to park. Room was beautiful, large, very clean and pleasing to the eye. We also had a great view of the sea which we all loved but my little one especially, she sat there for ages watching it like it was a tv! Bed super comfy. Also the food downstairs was delicious. Thank you for having us!

A lot of stairs which was hard with a toddler and lots of luggage, but it didn't ruin our stay and would still come back again.

The room was clean and bright and with everything we needed for a pleasurable stay - drinks facility, TV, Air Con and comfy beds. The breakfast was great, lots of choice in the restaurant, the menu is fab and we were spoilt for choice. The Parmo was wonderful for main meal. Location is perfect - what a view!

The en-suite was a bit small. Waited quite a while for food at both breakfast and evening meal - service was a little slow and there could be a couple more members of staff, those on duty work very hard with great attitude and interactions but seem to be run off their feet!

Stunning hotel, absolutely fantastic staff and a perfect location overlooking the sea!! We will never stay anywhere else in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The food was delicious, the outside seating areas were great with an amazing view! We arrived in full hot sunshine and sat out all afternoon with drinks, overlooking the beautiful beach. We had a dog friendly room, which felt lovely and self contained, with patio doors to get out if you didn’t want to walk through the hotel. Perfect for pets! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, they were cheerful, friendly and attentive! Thankyou and see you again soon!!

Car parking facilities are not good!

Lovely hotel in a great position. Rooms very clean and have everything you need. Good food (enormous portions). Would have given this hotel full marks but the bar/terrace facilities is open to the public so makes it very busy at times. Couldn't get a seat in the bar until later in the night. We were there on Mothers day and couldn't sit and have a coffee in the bar area in the morning because all tables were set up ready for Mothers day bookings. The hotel isn't a cheap one to stay in and I feel the facilities aren't always available to the people paying to stay there. Terrace area often reserved for private parties.

The mega comfy beds, and the sea air, meant we had an excellent night’s sleep! The roof terrace area was gorgeous. There were some games and books which the kids enjoyed exploring. The kitchen was well equipped, including some tea bags and things like washing up liquid.

I struggled to make the coffee machine work! (But this is almost certainly operator error, and there were manuals in a drawer). The accommodation is pet friendly. I think some of the furniture/blankets had residual dog hair on them, as I got quite sneezy sitting on/near them.

Myself and my wife stayed here last year and we love the spa hotel. it's a fabulous place to stay reasonable priced the staff are great above and beyond .the food is superb the rooms so cosy and the bed is better than my own lol .but seriously yes the bed is better than mine .the bar has a excellent selection of beers wines and spirits .and outside the hotel a short stroll is the beach and the pier .stunning views of the north yorkshire coastline. We will be back again soon .

The stay was a short break away for our anniversary the location is brilliant stunning yorkshire coastline

From the moment we arrived, most staff we encountered were very friendly and chatty. Special mention to Karen on reception and Connor one of the bar staff who didn't stop moving. We had a couple of issues in the room which were rectified during our stay. Breakfast food was very good quality with decent portions sizes - see below regarding service.

One slight downside was that service at breakfast was a bit slow - we put this down to breakfast being served indoors and outdoors (in the seating area in the car park and on the outside terrace?). Staff appeared to be a bit discombobulated.

Great setting with gorgeous views. Very comfortable room. Lovely decor and very comfortable social areas in the hotel. Nice food. A very warm welcome. Staff went the extra mile to provide blankets for outside dining and to put our cases in our room. Staff were warm and humorous.

Last orders for dinner were 8.45pm. We ordered at 8.35pm. When we finished we were just left. Nobody cleared our table or asked us if we wanted desert or coffee. When we went back inside just after 10pm we mentioned that our plates etc were still outside. There was no apology. The staff member who had made us so welcome on arrival very grudgingly provided a drink and did not even make eye contact. Everything else had been perfect for the end of our walk and we would return but this was not in keeping with the rest of our experience.

Amazing as always , We were able to park early and enjoy the Beach . It's a lovely place to stay and highly recommend a stay even though we did have a little issue with radiators .

Only one issue was with the bathroom radiator , Itwas on and as I got out of the shower it was very hot and I burnt my lower back , The bathroom is small , My travel friend also hurt her arm , We couldn't find a temperature gage to turn down so we switched it off .

The accommodation far exceeded what we expected. The location was perfect for our first visit to Saltburn. We will certainly return in the future, hopefully for a longer period of time. Our visit on this occasion was only a one night stay so we were unable to try out the treatments on offer but we will return when time permits to indulge in one or more of the available pamper packages.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about the accommodation. It was quite a steep walk down to the beach but being keen walkers and reasonably fit this didn't bother us at all.
