Even though it’s “shared bathroom facilities” there are a number to choose from for each landing area, (aIso I expect nearly all rooms have a sink with hot & cold water), plus radiator and remote control multichannel TV. There’s a Communal kitchen with microwave, fridge and toaster plus a nice relaxed sitting room downstairs. Nice friendly feel and very clean inside. Just up the road from O’Gradys pub serving excellent F&B and the Regent Cinema in opposite direction. Lodge is literally a few minutes walk from Redcar Central train station, Morrisons supermarket & Morrisons Extra daily store at bottom of road open till 10pm, town centre and the leisure centre. Masses of buses a few minutes away to all areas as well as regular train services too!

Love this little place as you are made to feel welcome from the moment you step inside. Love landlady who goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Visit Redcar for various ska events and Tudor lodge is perfectly located for all the pubs where the bands play

No coffee and tea in room as stated in the advert but there is a kettle and cups..we took our own coffee as we had stayed before so knew the score.. parking is available but at a cost behind the lodge but £4 a day was not an issue . These facilities are stated as included in the room and free parking which is not down to the owner it's due to booking.coms wrong advertising ...certainly doesn't put me off staying here but the advert deffo needs to be updated

Loved the fact the hotel is only round the corner from the beach,there's a pub (ogradys) at the end of the street and a morrisons local. It's about 15 mins away from the centre and 20 mins walk from races. Matress on beds are wonderful so nice to sleep on. The rooms are basic and a bit over priced for what you get but the owner is lovely so is her daughter. It was races day so think the price may have been put up.The room has bedside cabinet,chest of draws and a wardrobe, a sink in the corner tv and a heater/ fan. If the price wasn't as much I probably go again but £90 a night I think it's a bit much for a 2* hotel.

I didn't like the fact it's a shared bathroom and toilet. I'm diabetic so go to the loo alot well 8 times last night n walking up n down stairs wasn't good for my feet as I have nerve damage.

For the 2 Star Hotel, it was really good!! Very clean, helpful staff. Near tk sea side, in centre of town... It was space for kitchen- available fridge - what it was great!! Plus, place for make and eat breakfast, can make toast bread and do hot food in mikro - this things made our holiday much better!!

It will be much better with private toilets and shover, but anyway, it was good like that *joined toilet. It wasn't a problem at all!! ..

Excellent value and very helpful lovely lady running the guest house - she is an absolute gem 🙏. It’s basic but exactly what you expect for the price. We explore the North Yorkshire coast from here and was wonderful.

Very easy check in, no bother during stay, cheap and cheerful.

There was quite a bit of noise from inside and outside of the premises but that can't be helped I guess. There was mugs and a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee etc.

I booked this room for my partner so he could have a night out in Redcar, close to all amenities, said the staff were friendly, plenty of take aways, restaurant's etc

The code that I was sent was the wrong code, good job staff where there else I couldn't have got into the building. No tea, coffee, milk but otherwise everything was OK. Had to share a bathroom but for one night it didn't matter to him

Everything was very clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location.

There was a slight smell of cigarettes throughout. There is no dedicated parking and the road requires a permit, I was given an expired one and didn't have any issues but I was worried about being fined.

Location,staff,and convenience.

It"s obvious the redcar council do not want people to visit due to their many eccentric policies with parking...Spent half my visit worrying where to put the car without getting tickets or towed away.Let people come and enjoy redcar .You are pissing of every visitor who arrives.

Loved how clean the room was kept great addition for the staff to provide us with towels, also we messed up our booking completely and the staff helped us out massively and we had a very enjoyable stay

Not the hotels fault at all but someone staying there woke everyone up on our first night coming in drunk shouting very loudly but the staff yet again we're quick defusing the situation.
