Room was lovely . Staff were very helpful & pleasant. The Decor in all parts of the Hotel were exceptional you didn't know where to look first then as you spent more time in each room you kept finding new and quirky things to look at although some of areas in the Hotel were a little jaded and dusty cobwebs etc but as its near the end of the season and they were exceptionally busy it wasn't a big problem. The only thing I will say is that the garden could have done with some TLC. The Lunch and Dinner were exceptional that's why we decided to eat at the Hotel the both nights we stayed.

The breakfast were ok but not exceptional especially on the second day Monday morning my husband and I decided that the Chef wasn't in a very good mood as it looked as if the meal had been thrown at the plate.

The quirkiness of the decor was amazing .Definitely a wow factor from the moment you step into the place.Friendliness of all the staff was second to none and nothing was any bother to any of them .Reception ladies were very friendly and lovely to talk to .We booked breakfast and evening meal for both nights of our stay and the food and service was good Would stay here again definitely . Thanks to everyone .

The only thing I could find a negative about was that our room was a little too hot A fan was provided but it would have been nice to open a window but didn’t feel comfortable doing so with it being a old building.

Lovely room (in original building), high standard of cleanliness, superb attention to detail with the decor throughout the hotel including the shared areas and outside, a lovely cosy bar with a good range of drinks on offer, mostly outstandingly helpful and friendly staff, lovely grounds and location in the superb Saltburn, delightful breakfast, meeting our individual requirements, didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as meeting friends elsewhere however it looked wonderful, has a lovely ambience, menu looked good too just a bit expensive for us.

Close to all amenities and the beach. Very different, very stylish, very comfortable. Our room wasn’t large but it was immaculate and room service was great. We had bottles of water every day and the towels were nice and fluffy. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Everywhere was so clean and having fairy lights as part of the downstairs decor gave a magical touch. We would definitely recommend Brockley Hall to those wishing for a luxurious restful stay.

The conservatory where breakfast was held was a little dark for us. Plantation shutters are very smart but let in limited daylight. The decor and accessories were dramatically dark and beautifully coordinated - intimate and cosy for an evening - but we both would rather have had a slightly more energising vibe for our morning meals. That was just our taste, but I’m sure other guests would have found it perfect.

Room - the room was spacious. We loved the decor, the bed was comfy with lovely bedlinen, the shower was great Dining-room- here too, the decor was gorgeous. There was ample choice on the menu and we enjoyed what we chose.

It's just a tiny thing, but at breakfast our cereal bowls were still cluttering the table when our main course arrived then those plates were on the table too as we finished our tea and toast . My husband didn't think that mattered in the least so maybe it's just me!

Disarray at breakfast. Tables full of plates only one table free that I as clear. . Long wait for breakfast. Breakfast sent back due to boiled poached eggs, came back covered in water. We did not enjoy any aspect of the breakfast or service. Too many guest on deals and not enough staff to accommodate . Friday night fish and prosecco was amazing good and excellent staff.

The quirkiness of the decor which was amusing and interesting, although I suspect not practical for staff! The unusual, possibly novel choice of different kinds/levels of dining from fine dining to a curry night at exceptionally good value for money and all in the same dining room The friendliness and efficiency of the receptionist and quick service in the dining room The proximity to a beautiful park which offered varied and quite lengthy walks in a sheltered place on 2 bitterly cold days

The room on entry was overheated and we had to rush round turning down radiators

The hotel was filled with interesting and quirky things and had a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were lovely. The food was delicious, and there were a variety of beautiful areas to dine. My mother and I enjoyed a traditional high tea. Outdoor areas to relax with a drink under a tree or afternoon tea on the balcony. They had an interesting lift to take your luggage up. Our twin room was spacious and clean. A.short walk to the sea. Lovely experience. Highly recommended.

The service was First Class and the staff friendly and courteous. The hotel has a unique vibe and decor.

This is subjective but our preference would have been to have more vegetables (ie. carrots, broccoli, etc.) on the evening Brasserie Menu - and the option of potatoes that were not fried (i.e. boiled new potatoes which were in season at the time of our stay). That said, the quality of the food and service was excellent.

The decor was really stunning. Great location, short walk to the beach. Breakfast was so so good!

I felt some of the staff weren’t very friendly, especially on reception. Check out was at 11 but at 10:30, a cleaner (we presume) barely knocked on our door before entering to clean to room. Luckily we were just packing up our bags but we could have been in the shower or getting changed etc. Thought this was poor, not as if it was close to 11am.
