Location was easy to reach different coastal places in the area either by foot, bus, or driving. Highcliffe has a lovely nature reserve, which lends itself through the grounds of a.csstle and then onto the beach. The areas of Christchurch, New Forest, MIlford on sea all lovely areas to visit.

There is no opportunity at the hotel to use the bar and sit somewhere different from the bedroom.unless you dine, which there is no facilities on a Sunday and a Monday evening We were told this in advance of the booking. It's so disappointing, as it would have been nice to access the outside space, but no one around

We were very lucky to be upgraded and the Selfridge Suite was incredible. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The parking was a great bonus.

Unfortunately breakfast we found disappointing. There were no menus advising of options and I am not sure if we had a new member of staff but she did not seem as knowledgeable and we ended up with things on our plate we asked not to be there and missing other items we had asked for with no one coming to check while we were eating. I will say however the quality of the food that we did have was lovely.

The location is great, walking distance to shops and restaurants in one direction, same to the beach in the other direction. Breakfast was fairly basic but fine for our needs plus you could eat as much as you liked.

Only one small gripe, our room was on the ground floor, close to the entrance and the door slammed every time somebody passed through.

All the staff were very helpful, polite & friendly. The room was very spacious with excellent facilities & a very large comfortable bed.The mini fridge was a lovely extra. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was good.

The only criticism that we have was that we would have preferred back bacon, rather than streaky bacon in our cooked breakfast But this is a minor point, when everything else was excellent!

Clean and inviting. Staff welcomed us and were very nice. Room good with great shower (walk in) and offered all facilities including very mini fridge - nice touch - coffee tea and coffee machine. Bathroom products all good. Restaurant very attractive and light and airy. Breakfast great.

The price. I thought it was just a bit overpriced at £169 but breakfast was included

Breakfast was excellent. Closeness to Highcliffe Castle a definite plus.

We didn't have dinner there. We thought the menu a bit 'precious'. I think the hotel lacked a good space to have a drink outside. A garden would have been a definite plus. But it seems a lot of land presumably once owned by th eproperty has been sold off for residential development.

Cleanliness and facilities in the room.

Liked the breakfast, but thought the hot offering should be included in the price as the price of the room was fairly high. Would have been useful to have a bar area to visit. One of the rooms on the ground floor smelt musky.

The breakfast, you could basically ask for what you wish. Nothing was too much trouble. We had one evening meal in the gorgeous restaurant, which was faultless. High end cuisine, not small portions either. Rooms were beautifully decorated, comfy bed and pillows.

Our room was bright and airy but the view from the window was the restaurant. Although not a problem for us as we were out during the day and socialising during the evening.

Restaurant and outside are was fantastic, we noticed at breakfast last morning a family had a little dog in the restaurant area which one of the children had on her lap for awhile in my opinion the should have had there breakfast in the outside area, this should’ve have not happened, that’s why I don’t think l would stay there again

Location for Highcliffe Beach is good. Room is comfy. Staff are approachable.

Actual position relevant to a busy road is annoying however we couldn’t hear the traffic in the room. Bar prices are inflated but this is not unusual for any hotel. Breakfast presentation wasn’t consistent and could have been better on the day we were leaving.
