Fantastic location not far off the A96. Cosy rooms. Shout out to the member of staff at breakfast. We were a group of 4, we were last to the breakfast room and the cooked breakfast was held until we arrived. Great touch and saved the food being dry and shrivelled up

General decor is dated. Our window didn't quite close right and also opened fully so couldn't leave it open during the night. We asked for an accessible room for one couple, their was a shower but general accessibility, pretty poor. The other couple had a twin room which was twice the size of the "accessible" room.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly. Lots of light areas to sit and relax. Breakfast was great, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, etc with a cooked breakfast also. For the cooked food there were only small amounts out at a time and fresh brought out for new guests. Free parking, but remember to register your car at reception on arrival. Room and Hotel clean and bright.

Outside stone signage in grass unlite, so couldn't see it in the dark, when arrived late at night. Missed entrance first time but turned around and found it.

I thought the reception staff were absolutely exceptional even at 1am .I also thought the chef was a gem for cooking for my daughter in law after the allotted breakfast time .

The room was a bit dirty - needed a good clean on the skirting / picture frames, drawers under the coffee tray and seat at the desk etc .Possibly staff don't have time but a hoover/ clean with a duster would do the trick .

Freshly decorated rooms, new carpets and beds which were soooo comfy!! Staff were very welcoming and even went the extra mile to introduce us to other guests who were attending the same wedding as us. Lovely personal touch ❤️ Bit of a trek to get to our room but it was worth it. Really good sized room with lots of windows so lots of natural light.

The food was pretty basic pub grub, and we were seated on our own in the breakfast room. It was a bit disjointed and with no music on, or cosy lighting. It felt a bit cold and lonely compared with the lovely bar area we had been sitting in.

We enjoyed plenty of choices for breakfast all staff we friendly helpful and cheery especially working throughout the festive period many thanks to them all . We will certainly be back and our family always stay here too when visiting inverurie . The temperature throughout the hotel was excellent given the weather it was at that time and the comfort in the room was very good it made for a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed

Good location, lovely inviting decor giving a good feeling as soon as you enter the hotel. The staff were very friendly and made us feel special. The lounge seating in the bar was extremely comfortable. We were a family group of three adults. We ordered different meals, and each said that their choice was excellent.

It was very strange to discover that, when we ordered pre dinner drinks at the bar, the bar staff were unable to serve us -- they were under 18!. We were served, eventually, after they found another staff member. We also had two other strange problems regarding our booking and dinner menus. However, they were swiftly resolved, and did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

Service was good but not sure they are used to serving gluten free meals as they were not sure about the breakfast cereals and no toast was offered. The evening menu did mark what was gluten free.

As I have found before when booking via Booking.com breakfast was not included although I was sure that I had selected an option which did include breakfast. This is not the fault of the hotel but of the website for Booking.com. In future I will go directly to the hotel rather than via Booking.com

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this well kept hotel. Our room was lovely and the bed lush. Lovely choice of wood fittings throughout give it a more remote lodge feel along with a very laid back atmosphere. All the staff where lovely and they felt very much like new friends upon leaving. It's certainly a home from home for us and we've already booked to return

The room was pleasant, clean and functional with a good selection of channels on the TV. Breakfast was an additional cost to the room rate - around £12 which seemed fair - however as I normally only have a very light breakfast I did not use this option. I didn't use the restaurant. The location was perfect for my needs. The staff I met were pleasant and helpful and they fulfilled a variety of roles.

The hotel is a good basic quality hotel and was appropriate to my own needs. No issues.

Location of hotel very good with excellent parking. Restaurant meals were nothing special but breakfast was very good (buffet) Staff friendly and helpful

The rooms were looking a bit tired and need refurbishing - old style furniture. No excuse for mould on sealant around the bath which demonstrated lack of basic maintenance.
