My room was very cosy and comfortable bathroom was clean and suitable. I had everything I needed. The girl at check in was very helpful with telling me about where I could locate an iron and board. The internet instructions were wrong and I needed her assistance . The instructions were old and incorrect. in the room folder. Breakfast was amazing as was the pleasant little room and the girl who served me 5 days out of the six was terrific. Efficient and friendly

An earlier check in without a fee. I had an overnight flight to Edinburgh. I do not drive and the journey to Inverurie was inconvenient . I am 80 and travelling alone . It was my experience when there that the cleaning girls were finished by around noon. So there was no need to wait. I needed a place to settle and rest. I do not have a cell phone. So if I needed a taxi or had an emergency during the night what would have happened??? You really need a car . My observation was that everyone had a car.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean and quiet. WiFi was fast and reliable. Shower was excellent with body wash and shampoo provided on a daily basis. Breakfasts were good . I close this place due to its location and was not disappointed. Close to major roads. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

I did enjoy the breakfasts. However, they only served a cooked breakfast after 9 AM on the weekends, which was much too late for my schedule, so I was only able to get cereal and toast on Saturday and Sunday. Since I had paid for a cooked breakfast, it made me feel a little cheated. Of course, I could have just waited, but I am usually up at 5 AM and it was just too long to wait. Also, portions seemed a wee bit small. They could have been more generous.

Excellent breakfast and (most importantly) a dining room that is open 7 days in a week - very important in Inverurie where restaurants can be closed Monday and Tuesday even in the height of the tourist season.

In the detached set of bungalows on the property, the traffic noise from the nearby A96 Inverness-Aberdeen road is always noticeable but not a reason for a disturbed night's sleep - and, in any case, that proximity to the main road is very useful.

Quality of food in restaurant was excellent and room comfort was ideal, some rooms were very spacious. Evening staff were very attentive and hard working.

Our request for ground floor accommodation was not met until we mde a further request. Bar closing 9.30pm was very disappointing from a resident perspective, and moving to the breakfast room was less appealing. That said there is no real lounge / casual drinking facilities. Breakfast was a little on the skimpy side quantity wise for a full English. Other breakfast options were more substantial.

The dinners were excellent. Very varied menu with something for everyone. The staff were exceptional, even when busy, which was most of the time! The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. It was well insulated from the noise of the main road.

Better lighting would be a bonus in the bedroom. It was very dark in the desk /TV area. The shower was big but quite slippery. A safety mat would have been appreciated. The kettle was huge!! Far to big to fill at the basin. Some water glasses would have been useful in the bathroom. We obtained some from the bar in the end.

The food at this Hotel is really good, that’s why we chose it Good choice at breakfast and we dined in on 2 nights. Sunday platter is excellent value for money and the burger night on Monday was great. Only disappointment was the shower, as the doors were hanging off and actually did fall off one morning, The Hotel were aware of it, and trying to fix it. Also the bed sheets were way too small. The fitted sheet barely covered the mattress and I had to straighten the pillows in the pillow case. Such simple things that it should be possible to get right. I had stayed here before, and even for the little faults it is still excellent value for money and the staff are so lovely.

The ashtray by the entrance, please please empty it more often. It is an awful thing to have by the entrance with soggy wet fag ends in it. It annoyed me every time I passed it !

Quiet location, well presented and very helpful staff. Restaurant is excellent - a good selection and good quality. Breakfast was comprehensive and quickly prepared to order.

Just one little niggle - it was obvious that a majority of the midweek clientele are workers - singles. The room was clearly set up for that - one bath towel, one hand towel etc. Additional items supplied very promptly when requested, but if the booking is for a couple, it would have been more thoughtful to have the additional items there without asking.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful - great choice, and very tasty. Room and ensuite were spotless, a great size and bed was so comfortable. Great location and would absolutely stay again. Great value for money.

A mirror at the dressing table for doing hair and make-up would have made my rating even higher but it wasn't really a problem as I brought a travel mirror with me.

Beautiful hotel. My friend and I slept in so actually missed breakfast, which we were gutted about as we had dinner night before and it was fantastic!

Only downfall was the floorboards were very noisy in bedroom & door was quite stiff to open/close. Apart from that the room was lovely and clean. We would 100% book again. Have spoke about coming all the way from Grantown On Spey to have food again, it was that good. The staff were all helpfull and friendly.

This was a last minute booking, hotel not known to me. My request for a ground floor twin room was met. Evening meal was pleasant in the conservatory, plenty space between tables. Good choice on the set menu plus daily specials, portions were ample, staff very attentive. Breakfast menu was fine, varied choice available. Room was fine, no issues.
