The Beckside is simply the best b&b I have stayed in, it is only a short walk to the town shops, restaurants, transport links and a lovely walk to the beautiful Keswick Lakes where we spent day walking, it was breathtaking. The Beckside is immaculate and spotless throughout. Our hosts Tracey and Andrew were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, breakfast was beautifully presented, abundant and prepared to perfection - simply delicious. Our twin room was spotless, comfortable and homely with a good ensuite shower. I will definitely be recommending to friends and very much look forward to returning.

Tracey and Andrew made us feel incredibly welcome and it was a pleasure to stay at The Beckside! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. TV, On-suite toilet and a lovely shower in the room. There had clearly been a lot of thought into what they provide, from a drinks station in the room, to a selection of toiletries and even a ‘forgot me’ box with small things we may need (ie plasters) during our stay. Everything was catered for! The rooms were cleaned daily and the whole house was very tidy, clean and had sweet decor. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety and well cooked/presented - perfect before a day hiking in the mountains. Tracey and Andrew were always on hand to offer ideas of places to visit and were helpful when making plans (the weather was not always on our side during our stay so plans often had to be changed). The location was superb, only a 5 minute walk from the main town where there were lots of restaurants. Keswick is also very central, with lots of hikes only a short drive away! We had no issues with parking on the road, we were always able to find a space nearby. I would highly recommend anyone to stay with Tracey and Andrew at the Beckside!

What a fantastic place to stay. absolutely everything you could possibly need or want. The hosts Tracey and Andrew were fantastic and ensured we had everything we needed , spotlessly clean. Fabulous position, so close to everything. Fitz park was very close and such a lovely place to spend time , just chilling out. Fabulous brekkie and such wonderful attention to detail in all aspects from the initial correspondence to the lovely surprise gift when we left. Would not hesitate to recommend this place if you are coming up Keswick, a perfect place to stay thank you

rooms were very clean and well presented , plenty of coffee milk tea ,water . The Bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic with locally sourced food, very filling and set us up for the day. location was good. Hosts were lovely and very informative.

TV in Room could have been in a better position instead of to the side ( twisting neck to watch ) just a suggestion to move facing the bed.

The quality of service from Andrew & Tracey was exceptional, they go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic. The attention to detail both within the room and at the breakfast table is amazing. Breakfast is like a feast and cooked to perfection. I would recommend the fresh fruit tray as well. Their local knowledge of the area and surrounding area is excellent, it helped make our trip, when they said use the local bus service. We were able to see so much more, instead of being stuck in a car and also then having to find parking. If you want to be pampered then, you need to go here.

There was nothing we did not like, they excelled in every way.

The experience with Beckside guest house has been nothing but excellent. The host's are extremely inviting and friendly and the guesthouse has ample parking on nearby streets. The property is immaculate and well presented, it really does feel like your at home because of all the comforts, leaving you feeling relaxed during your stay. Location is excellent, within 5 minutes you're in the centre of Keswick town, the access to main routes is brilliant, it is a really good hub for exploring the lakes. Additional bonus is the Keswick museum and Fitz park are extremely close by within a few minutes walk. The host's are very hospitable, providing plenty of useful information for your visit to the lakes and generally great people. Breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful. I would love to come back and stay again next time we visit the lakes!

Nothing, I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Tracey and Andrew were fantastic hosts, best B & B I’ve ever stayed in. It was my hubby’s birthday whilst there, card and chocolates were on the table when we went for breakfast. The breakfast was so nice, fresh fruit choice which was great, and the full fried breakfast was so good. Can’t wait to return thank you.

Spotless clean, even made up our beds & emptied the bins when we went out for the day.

Beckside Guest House is one of the best places I've ever stayed at! The location is ideal, the room was clean and comfortable, every detail has been thought through carefully - for walkers especially - breakfast is exceptional, and Tracy and Andrew are lovely. I can't recommend enough! And I will definitely come back next time I come to the Lake District.

Honestly, nothing...

We were met immediately by our warm and caring host. It was a cold evening in March and the whole house was warm and cosy. The whole of Beckside was kept exceptionally clean. Every detail had been thought through and so many extras had been added eg. a fridge in the dining room. It was only a few minutes walk onto the high street in Keswick. During our stay we could come and go as we pleased. We will definitely be back.

The breakfast on offer was delicious with plenty of choice and generous portions. The bedroom was immaculate and there were lots of thoughtful touches. Tracy and Andrew were very welcoming and caring with great attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble.
