Really lovely stay at Llwyn country house. Stayed for Christmas to visit nearby family & were made so welcome by Marius. His friendly greeting on arrival was so refreshing compared to many large chain hotels. The hotel is cosy & has a warmth like a loved home. Honesty bar if we felt like a late drink & delicious breakfast in the morning where nothing was too much trouble. Bedroom was clean, well presented, with a super comfortable bed. We’ll definitely return next time we are visiting the family. Thank you for a great stay.

Wow. From beginning to end of our 4 night stay we were made to feel at home. Steve ( the owner) was fabulous, very attentive and paid so much attention to making our stay the best it could be. The room we had was Cusan (kiss) which was gorgeous.

Everything about our visit here was great the welcome we had when checking In the hospitality in the evening to even when we was checking out would highly recommend and definitely come again.

Lovely old building. Well restored with lots of quaint touches and very comfy rooms. I was one of only 2 guests the first night so Mateus the chef let me pick what I wanted to eat on both nights of my stay. He also made me American pancakes with bacon and syrup on request for breakfast on the day I left. I will certainly stay there again.

The car parking was good but it was down very narrow roads.

Lovely welcoming place, friendly staff, quiet location close to the coastal path. Hearty fresh breakfast.

We’ve stayed at LLwyn country house many times over the past 4 years and we’ve had a brilliant stay each time. Steve is a wonderful host and we can’t recommend the property anymore to guests looking to stay in Llanelli or close to Swansea.

Everything! There is nothing not to like about this place. Between the hotel itself and the staff, it was a perfectly beautiful experience. Marius, the chef, was not only a spectacular cook but also a warm, kind and lovely man. Nothing was too much trouble, anything myself and my wife wanted to eat he would cook. The room was spotless and gorgeously decorated. The atmosphere throughout the whole building is warm, relaxed, friendly and like a home from home. We absolutely loved this hotel and will 100% be visiting again in the near future!

Very relaxing and easygoing. Very trusting staff members and total freedom. The staff were very trusting and friendly.

We had excellent communication from Steve on the day of our arrival, asking if we would want an evening meal etc. Steve left us crockery as we had declined the evening meal due to us being in work until late, he left us crockery at the bar for us to use should we choose to get our own food etc. The place was incredibly thought out, the bed was super comfortable and in immaculate condition. The bar facilities were very much enjoyed and Steve was so friendly and really made us feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised, and exceeded our expectations considerably. Steve cooked us a wonderful breakfast the next morning and he really took the time to chat with us. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The direction on SatNav from the North brings you to the other side of the road which is closed. This is a known issue , but still being ignored by local council apparently. A minor annoyance and one that only caught us out once! Everything else was perfect. The food was delicious the bed was really comfy and the area really quiet.
