Important! Bring your passport or the driving license. It did not say anywhere on the booking page or in the confirmation email that you had to do so. I was lucky I always have my driving license on me, even though I did not drive there. The price is very good. Everywhere was clean. The room is small, but I was on my own and did not need much space. For a budget room, you get a shower, which is excellent, and there are two shared toilets on two floors. Both are spotless and one was always vacant during my stay, I did not have to wait. The towels were clean, thick and absorbent. The bed was comfortable, the TV was working and has a large selection of channels. The Staff were friendly and helpful, albeit a little inexperienced. They could not find my booking at first, but after I gave the the booking number, they did. I came in the morning, left my luggage and came back in the evening. There is no Tube station nearby, but the bus stop are right outside the guesthouse, with frequent buses.

As I mentioned before, they should have made it clear that they require a passport or a driving license to check-in. The only other thing I did not like was the noise from the road and the fact that the window was not sound-proof, nor did it have blackout curtains. For this reason, I could not get good enough sleep. I slept with my ahed away from the window as well, on the wrong end of the bed.

In a mostly residential area but a strip of shops with several eating options quite close. We only used the trains. There was an overground station just a couple of minutes away. The underground station was an easy 15 mins. We used this a lot and felt quite safe even walking back at night. Our room was in the second building next door and our room was facing the street. Although small, it was perfectly adequate. We did get some noise from the road but mostly from the guests upstairs stomping up and down. There is no lift. The staff at reception next door were very helpful every time we spoke with them. They assisted us to book a taxi to St. Pancras station to catch the Eurostar. We found the taxi company they organised was great.

Lovely! The place was clean and near the city centre, beds are really comfy. The neighbourhood is safe and the place is right next to bus/metro stops. The staff was always available and kind.

Rooms are very close one to another and you can easily hear noisy guests, unluckily doors slam when closing. If you are a light-sleeper you may need earplugs. It would have been nice to have some kind of choice or included service with a nearby cafeteria or something as a breakfast option.

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the provided kettle, with coffee, tea and biscuits: and the TV with lots of channels. The location is nice next to the train (over ground) and a few minutes/blocks away from the underground and many shops and food places (McDonalds is next door).

I think this is a typical set up for a house that has been turned into a hotel. With that in mind, these are gentle criticisms; room was really snug, and it was tight sharing with another person and luggage. The stairway is tight, no elevator and only one room key, which can be tricky with more than one person.

The staff was very nice. They first gave us a room at lower level and we didn’t really like it i felt a little claustrophobic, but we asked for another room and they were very receptive about it so we got another one. The location is not bad we took the metro to the center and it takes around 40 minutes to get to the big ben for example. When i m staying somewhere the water pressure is very important for me and the shower was great except it didn’t have a telephone head and as a girl it is important that you can take an only body shower cause you don t always wanna wash your hair but that can be easily changed.

- The gentleman who checked us in was lovely - The room was very clean with lots of outlets and mirrors - The bathroom had sufficient toiletries incase you forgot yours - The location was well connected with bus and train routes and was next door to McDonalds which was handy for breakfast

- Be aware if you stay during summer that there is no aircon (although a fan was provided) and with having to have the window open due to the heat, the traffic was very noisy at night. This didn’t bother us too greatly though and was almost interesting to hear all of the traffic passing by

Booked for four nights stayed three. Clean room, good shower. Good location. Not noisy at all. Grandson liked sitting in window watching world go by.

Room very small and constricted. No storage shelves or hooks for coats. All our gear ended up laid on floor which then made room even more constricted. Far too small, Had a fire alarm caused by other guest using shower with door open. Yet had to ask staff when she came out if it was a false alarm! Three guests standing outside and no information passed until, pushed. We only slept well first night and eventually moved to Travel Lodge at Gatwick for last night and room for £42 was huge with a double and two singles and plenty of storage/space to move.

We were moved to the sister Clapham hotel. The room was spotless and worked particularly well for us as at the last minute we had our adult son staying with us so the sofa bed made our lives very easy. The staff were very accommodating of our last minute request. The fact that there was the opportunity for locked parking meant we could leave all our suitcases in the boot of the car. Since we were flying very early for our son’s wedding, we had a lot of luggage and not having to lug suitcases at 5am was a great bonus! My daughter lives in Clapham and I would definitely stay again.

All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower room and toilet were also in excellent condition. The location for public transport into London is ideal, with bus stops and a train station nearby.

Noise. We were in a front room overlooking Wandsworth Road and traffic was, obviously, continuous. Earplugs were provided but the noise did affect an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Greeted by very friendly reception staff. Room was small but adequate size for 1 night stay. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Shower was clean and towels were surprisingly soft. Location is a little bit out of the way from central London, but easy enough to get too on the tube and a 15 minute walk from the tube station. Really great stay, good value for money, probably would stay here again

Room was hot but it was a warm day so couldn't be helped but window only opened slightly. Consider curtains in the rooms as the blackout blind is good but in the morning the sun shone round the edge of the blind where it doesn't quite fit the window. But no real dislikes just personal preference
