My stay was in House #8 of the two separate Victorian houses that make up this lodging. Breakfasts were great fun as guests from many countries gathered around a single table and talked about their experiences. Property hosts Kanley (also chief chef) and husband David were always available to answer questions and to immediately "sort" any issues that arose. Each day was made special by House #8 Maître-D Bob, who oversaw breakfast service and interacted with guests with cheery greetings and delightful conversation. Hennin kept the rooms clean each day, finishing by spreading a lovely floral. Overall, guests were treated as if they were part of an extended family.

The extreme heat wave that hit London exactly at the time I was there was nearly unbearable. The lodging was quaint and authentic, meaning it did not have air conditioning, and the small portable fan in my room could not compete with the heat and humidity.

This B&B is a little gem! The location is convenient, close to public transportation and to plenty of shops and a food market. The hosts were very attentive and communicated very well from booking to check in. Breakfast was definitely a highlight - not only was it excellent (both in terms of taste and portions) but it was also a great way to meet other guests, and led to entertaining morning conversations. Special shoutout to Nikolai (sorry, not sure about the spelling) who was just starting while we were there and who was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks again!

Breakfast was excellent - full english or omelette or cereal, fruit (super fresh) or yoghurt, etc - hosts were incredibly helpful if anything was not quite right, went wrong (eg, wardrobe malfunction) etc and super cheery, flexible and professional at breakfast and in the evening when they were there.

Breakfast could not be served until 8am (although there was a tiny amount of leeway with this) ... which may give less time to reach work or tour, etc. Seemed to be some initial confusion when arrived which required host to travel long distance (some minutes) to give us the key. Lovely folks though!

The staff was very friendly and with a sense of humour. Excellent breakfast served on a community table ensuring some human interaction in this age of digital isolation. I think for me that was the key thing. A home effect away from home. A word of mention for Kanley and his warm and effusive personality carried the day

The stairs were like all oldish houses in England..narrow and a wee bit rickety. With luggage in hand can be a challenge

We had a wonderful stay! The location is fantastic, close to both Vauxhall and Oval stations, in a charming, peaceful neighbourhood with a Tesco nearby. The house is lovely and typically English, and our room was cosy. The highlight was definitely breakfast served in the communal dining room—the staff were incredibly fun and friendly, and the owner, who is an excellent chef, made the best omelette I've ever had (the full English breakfast was delicious too). We're very happy with our choice and would love to come back again!

The hospitality of the hosts and their staff is amazing, they made us feel really comfortable and welcomed. The English breakfast is really good and generous, cheers to the chef Mr. Kanley! The location is practical, in the sense that you are close to every available means of transportation and he city center. The B&B includes two houses and ours was peaceful.

The bedroom was underground and the view was a wall. We had a problem with hot water, the staff was prompt to take care of it on the same day, which was great! The cleaning of the room was not perfect (dust behind the furniture).

The location is super, just a view minutes walk to the public transport. The B & B is a sweet looking Victorian house. We had a nice room and good kingsize bed and the bathroom ensuite. It had everything we needed. It was clean, organized and a little messy which gave us the feeling that we were visiting family. Warm and not so official. The breakfast is very good and we could ask for anything and order it just how we wanted it. Kanley and David are very kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home and they did their best to make our stay comfortable.

Perfect location (walking distance to Westminster, Big Ben, London Eye. Metro station (Vauxhall) just 3min walking distance. Quiet area, beautiful small street with cozy houses. Very friendly owner who cooks breakfast himself. Friendly environment - guests sit at one breakfast table. Room (upper floor) was small but comfortable, low ceilings though (so be careful with hitting the head!). Have free tea, coffee. Very nice experience!

No shampoo/conditioner/bodywash in the shower.

Position excellent. Room was beautiful, comfortable with all I needed. Even provided slippers and a bath robe. Drinks in fridge including milk, and coffee/ tea making facilities. Had a fan that I welcomed during the heat wave experienced during my stay. Bed linen changed every 3 days and fresh flowers brought into my room twice during my stay of 5 days. Oh, and breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful! Hosts were super friendly and made sure I was always comfortable.

Water pressure very low. Duvet was too hot for the ambient temperature when I was there

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Delicious breakfast cooked to order every morning. On days that we had to leave prior to breakfast, croissants and fruit were left for us, which was very nice! The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was great also! We used the "tube" a lot and it was a short walking distance to the station and also to many nice restaurants. Kanley and David were always very helpful and gave us good suggestions. They helped make our first trip to London a great experience!
